Do you have to recover the refrigerant before you replace the sensor or it just attaches to the pipe?

i also encountered same problem but the error sir bon is not E3 but rather JA-07 VRV 4.
Hope my diagnosis is correct

pls i need help on vrv4 ,the compressor was not picking and i check it then i discovered there is no any gas in the system so i presurize the pipe line and i found where the pipe is leaking then i represurize the line to 40 bar after presurizing i vacum the system to 400 micron but now that am charging the system with 410 gas the unit is showing an error code JC and i read the low pressure sensor is ok then i still proceed to change the main panel still showing the same error code,pls help me and tell me what to do ,each time am about to autor charge the system will keep showing JC

The simple method is measure .
Red and Black is K ohm .
Red and white is M ohm.
