adding salt to the pre-bed water bottle is brilliant. I lose so much sleep each week just walking to and from the bathroom, but have perfected doing that without opening my eyes to ensure I fall back asleep quickly!
Great video. I would love to add my creatine to my coffee in the morning, but I have always been told not to take creatine too close to taking caffeine. Is that not true? It even says it o the directions I think with my xendurance creatine. Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks.
Sir, very informative and well done video. You have the results to back it up too. I do two of the BP coffees in the morning to get an immediate calorie load going and a very noticeable reduction in brain fog. I think it’s forcing my body to start w/ Ketones. Just started regular ACV + pink salt + collagen. It is amazing what you can do w/ diet. It really is foundational. Totally wish I would have known this much earlier.
I appreciate you, your transparency is really helpful and humble. I’ll definitely be adding some of these to my routine. Got a sponsor link for the Thirdzy by chance?
Hi Jason, great video! Quick question, fruit vinegar would work, or it needs to be cider? Also, your Rogue rack, you leave it in the rain? Does it hold agains the weather? Thinking on buying something similar, but afraid of leaving it outside (rust, etc).
As far as I know, it needs to be apple cider with the mother. I do leave the rack outside and it's seen it's share of weather over the past 2 years. It's 100% held up... you can't go wrong with it.
@@JasonGrubb Thank you! Thanks for the inspiration sir. I started CFIT in 2013, while in college. Now, married, with 4 kids later, was starting to have the "im old mentality". You were the last bit that I needed to order bars+120kg weights and a couple more items to restart my health. All the best, keep up the good content.
Have you looked at taking a good K2 supplement with your D3? Also surprised you don’t do Niacin, DHEA and TMG. I find these really help as I’m in my fifties. I also take trace elements as well as B complex.
Awesome, thanks for the updated supplements video. In the last one, you mentioned vegetable glycerin drink with salt and sugar as a homemade hydration drink. You are not using vegetable glycerin anymore? I was planning to experiment with it, but wondering if you have any updates on that?
Thank you for the Cruz blender recommendation! I drink coffee and a pea protein shake every morning, I cut out cereal a few weeks ago and it’s helping me stay fuller after the gym. This blender I need because usually I the coffee is lumpy :( Also I take a teaspoon of manuka honey at night with hot water and it helps me get a full nights sleep from 11pm - 7am. As someone who lives with nightmares about being a fat kid and getting bullied everyday it’s been helping a lot with my sleep over the months I started having it.
Coffee with butter for an Italian could be like a tea spoon of chocolate in pasta....But tastes are tastes :) Sometimes I take as well some Beta-Alanine and L-Arginine 30 mins before the workout, not too bad (i'm 36 now)
There's some research suggesting that caffeine might interfere with the body's absorption of creatine. This is still somewhat debated in the scientific community, and the practical significance of this interaction is not entirely clear. Some research has suggested that caffeine might inhibit some of the performance-enhancing effects of creatine supplementation, but other research has not found such an effect.
AG1 and I threw away ALLMOST other supplements. Less stress with all kinds of brands, much better everything in my body. But hey, all this keep you occupied throughout the day 🤣. (Well, do vitaminD, magnesium and electrlytes, but that's 'cause I work out)
Thanks for all the information.

haha... If I do have to get up, I'll wear my sleep mask
thanks for sharing your supplement intake. i will try the apple cider vinegar w/water tommorow.
Great video as always! The setup is just so optimised!
It definitely works for me!
@@JasonGrubb I think the Crossfit wins attest to that 😂
This was interesting especially the new research about sodium
Thanks!

Thanks for sharing! I don't really feel any difference myself. Always worth testing to see if it adversely affects ya.
Do you have any experience using xendurance? Especially for muscle soreness post workout
I don't... tell me if you have any?
Great video. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!

Very educational thanks for sharing. How does the salt at night help with slowing down urination? That is very interesting can you share?
Salt helps you retain water - as opposed to shedding water via urine.
@@JasonGrubb thank you

DHEA is a banned substance for CF.
I try to keep it uber simple...
I'm 44 yo. If the Babe Ruth of CF Masters division takes it, i'll take it too. Just added ACV to my supplement load!
:=)

I'm not using it anymore because LMNT fills all my needs. I have no problems with my old concoction and would still be using it if LMNT didn't exist.

I couldn't believe how much of a game changer the Cruz blender was (it's almost silly how much I like it). Interesting about the honey!
“Vermont Folk Medicine” 👍

@@JasonGrubb I forgive you, even if I'm Italian. Great job at the latest Games!
Nice brother🤙🏾
Pretty simple list, similar to by supps, though I need to increase my salt
Most people do!
How many ounces of water in the morning with the salt and apple cider
a full shaker bottle... so roughly 24 ozs
Great info! Definitely got some great ideas from this 👍
Be careful with D3 I was started getting palpitations for over a month. I was overdosing on D3
I do watch out for that.
Its really funny how athletes worry about eating "too much salt" when the science clearly reveals that more is better!
💯
D’ont mix créatine and coffee 😂😂😂😂😂😂
It’s stopping the effect

You don't have your homemade recovery drink anymore? The one with vegetable glycerin
I've switched to LMNT, but the homemade concoction is still a pretty good option (even though it doesn't quite have everything LMNT has in it).
