- Danzas Argentinas (Argentine Dances) is set of three dances for solo piano written in 1937, and this energetic performance is fittingly played by the Argentinian pianist Martha Argerich!

01:17 - No.2 Danza de la moza donosa
04:05 - No.3 Danza del gaucho matrero

이곡 쳤을때 생각난다.... 조울증와서 하루종일 기분이 오르락내리락했는데 이곡을치면서 스트레스 풀고 세상혼자인것처럼 쳤던때가 있었지...
All other performances of this set of pieces pale in comparison to Argerich. Hail to the queen of piano 🎹
I love this suite. The 2nd piece is really touching
Lisen at Panizza interpretation, its even better
Argerich is one of a handful of the most astonishing pianistic talents the human race has produced, at least since we've had recordings. I've never heard a performance of this wonderful music by Alberto Ginastera that comes close to what Argerich does here.
The satisfying video time of _just_ 7:00
Martha is the best ....so much energy for this wonderful music 😀
Modernism with the intensity of speed combined with some interesting and progressive rhythms executed with articulate precision morphing into eloquent tenderness. The rhythmic progressiveness and modernism is refreshingly interesting and fun to play if you can pull it off with any degree of conviction.
Definitely the best of all times
Tremendo! Gracias por subirlo.
These pieces are really sticking in my head, even months later! Thinking I might learn them.

Perfect execution!!
Argerich is the best
5:17 to the end is EPIC
Great playing! The third piece reminded me of a work by Leo Ornstein.
👏👏👏
The definitive interpretation of this piece
I'll be honest; I prefer the second piece slower, holding the tempo in certain bits. But of course this one is technically flawless and Argerich is an absolute delight in everything she does.
@@e.p.s.9037 I actually agree with you there, I think Argerich misses a bit of emotion in speeding through that section with little rubato. However, her interpretation of the third part is so far above and beyond what other pianists have done that I find myself always coming back to her recording. It also helps that like Ginastera, she is Argentinian. Hence why I call this the "definitive" interpretation
Idk. It's nice if you don't know the piece but I definitely disagree with the tempo in the first dance and it's a little confusing, the way she plays it.

She is argentinian but it is obvious that she is not even a little fond about argentinian music.
She did't played or recorded it in her so extensive career...
@@sebastian-benedictflore
The way she play this pieces seems that she hate them...
She was never involved in Ginastera' s or argentinian music.
Alberto Bartok
Based! Even his piano sonatas are amazing!
Argerich doesn't seem to play much Argentine music e.g. Golijov, Gardel, Piazzolla . . . this Ginastera is a first for me.
Esto es completamente espectacular; soy gran seguidor de Ginastera. Es precioso, pero mi interpretacion favorita es hecha por Panizza. Me parece mas expresiva
Es fácil de ver que Argerich nunca grabó o se comprometió con la música de su compatriota Ginastera.
Es más, por la forma de tocar estas piezas, parecería que las odia...
@@CatalogueVillaloboscomo no odiarlas suenan horrible
¡Saludos!
How
Argerich supremacy
that first section makes me want to puke
Need a bucket?
Brilliant playing, but what empty, repetitive, formulaic music. AG was far too fond of the 3/4 + 6/8 meter - this sounds like accompaniment to a non-existent tune. The three piano sonatas are ever-les nourishing pressings from the same vat: the piece he gets it right in is, IMO, Estancias. Sorry!
I'm sorry you didn't enjoy, you must not dance.
@@blakepruneau9970 Actually when I was younger I loved to dance, but not in endless 6/8! :-)
@@robkeeleycomposer Sorry to hear that.
You're tripping. Nothing empty about it. They're dances. It's fun, rhythmic music in the first and third dances and if you think there is no melody in the second then... idk.
Something like Blue Danube seems far emptier and less interesting than this. Not to mention that they're 2-3 minute dances. A bit of repetition does no harm.
I must have listened to/played the wrong pieces because I have no idea what you're talking about
Too fast and harsh...
And, as you can see, Argerich never program or record Ginastera.
She don' t love Ginastera's, neither argentinian music and it is so easy to perceive...
Y no tuvo razón en eso
