Thanks. I did find one bit of confusion- the second graph around @7:37, why is it deemed 0 matches? Why aren't there dots for GG and AA, in addition to the AA (that is already marked). Why is that not considered a match if it's at least 3?

can someone explain me why we dont have a consecutive match in the second case? isn't AGA a consecutive match??

Everything that you say about the second case is wrong. The matches have to be consecutive like 1 to 1, 2 to 2, etc. otherwise they don't matter.
You bungled a bit at 7:50 and went against what is written on the slide.
