    Thanks. I did find one bit of confusion- the second graph around @7:37, why is it deemed 0 matches? Why aren't there dots for GG and AA, in addition to the AA (that is already marked). Why is that not considered a match if it's at least 3?

    can someone explain me why we dont have a consecutive match in the second case? isn't AGA a consecutive match??

    You are super talented and knowledgeable person..huge respect, how you find time to study such interdisciplinary subjects?
    Second, I am preparing for bioinfrmatics exam and I learned alot from your videos
    I looking forward up to your coming videos about character based, and distance based phylogenetic but plus Neighbor joining and parsimony..it will make make life easier definitely. Thanks in advance and keep it up

    Everything that you say about the second case is wrong. The matches have to be consecutive like 1 to 1, 2 to 2, etc. otherwise they don't matter.

    sir , I think in the second example, what is written as "0 matches" is right. I actually didn't understood why you said it has 4 matches. Please do clear my confusion, sir.

    the matches should be in the diagonal only

    In second case 1example have a match with T but why didn't put match? that I can't understand
    ..Why did u say that there were no match and that's why u put 0mathch but why?Can u explain that sir I can't understand....
