I loved the cushy comfortable feel of this shoe. The grip is good on dry and sucks on technical steep and or wet terrain. I've got over 200 miles on mine and they are now just rails to trails shoes as the tread is nearly worn off unlike my Sense Ride 4's that have over 300 plus and the tread is still holding up well. I do like the TPU plate as it gives me a bit more propulsion during push off.
I like the claimed versatility of them. I often do a combination of pavement, gravel roads, and trails on my training runs, and this sounds like a great shoe to meet those mixed surface outings.
Too narrow for my foot unfortunately and my feet aren’t that wide. I wish Salomon offered wide options in their new trail ranges like Hoka so more of us could enjoy their shoes. I ran these on a short 1km loop on tarmac and immediately noticed wear on the outer edge of my forefoot where I strike. Something that vibram mega grip does not do very quickly. I measured the lugs at 3mm as opposed to 3.5mm and from experience with other shoes with similar lug depth, I personally wouldn’t use them in wet, slippy conditions. The 6mm drop feels very much like a 6mm drop so good job there. The plate is quite flexible. Not nearly as stiff as the TPU plate in Saucony Endorphin Speeds so no need to worry about instability on trails. They did feel quite snappy on my road run and because of the locked in feel, I imagine they would be quite agile too. A shame as I really wanted them to work for me. They weighed in at 290g per shoe in a UK men’s size 9.

Great Shoes... Confortable ! Light ! Stable and Grippy... But need to review the quick lace which is incidentally so difficult to store the laces in the pocket ! Because by tightening the buckle it blocks the access ??!!

Es mi numero salomon de toda la vida y estas me bailan en el pie torpes inestables y la suela no agarra ni en seco llevo corriendo por el monte 30 años prefiero salir a correr con unas pegasus que con estas no aportan nada una decepcion argumentos y marketing para vender y sacar productos nuevos las he regalado

Confidence inspiring grip ? Sorry, no ! The shoes are good, close to perfect in dry and not too technical terrain, in wet they just don't work...
