The biggest problem on the game is the lack of difficulty progression. The game is easier and easier over the time. Ok, it's reasonable that be easier, but after 6~7 days, the game is just a walking in the park.
I agree that the initial scaling is off. That´s why the more zombies and more standard zombie mods are really good to fine tune the late game difficulty. And you can adjust it on the fly. Staring vanilla for example and then increasing manually the spawns and damage over time.

They implemented the mod feature in the latest patch. You can now chose between different flashlight settings in one of the game menus - the mod is probably discontinued.

The Health Gauge Mod does not run well with the Update 35 Curveball System of SOD 2... I had so many crashes until I deselected the mod. So, that mod is not a bonus for me (maybe other players did not encounter this with the mod but I certainly did).
Damn I wish this was available on console. Things like the shortening of the nights - and precisely what you said, the lengthening of attractive dawn/dusk lighting is just something that should be in the game as standard. Some of the decisions made during development and patches boggles the mind. The game badly needs HUD and QoL improvements.
It is always baffling for someone like me how much dedication the mod creators put into their work and how awesome the game impacts are for us as gamers. Currently I am hooked on SPT (Single Player Tarkov) and the mods bring so much improvement to the base game!

hey ive been trying to set up a modded playthough the last few days and i really like your suggestions! However, i also like the look of the gameplay overhaul mod, but i see you didnt mention it, can i ask do you know if that mod just doesnt work anymore? it seems like some features of it do seem to work, but it also seems to block others, like the better vehicle storage mod, despite the gameplay overhaul mod not seeming to change vehicle inventory size, despite it being in the feature list.
Thank you for the feedback! The Lonewolf-Mod is what I considered the Gameplay-Overhaul mod, because it changes the way you play the game a lot. This mod does work perfectly fine with all other mods on the list, including the better vehicle storage mod.
Not all vehicles are created equally. Undead Labs made special vehicles for the game which could be pre-ordered at first release and for a time after initial release. Cars such as the Impaler, the Tiger Claw truck, Pizza cat are unique and cannot be obtained now and cannot be modded. However, the models used for these vehicles and some others were re-designed and became the common vehicles you can find all over the map. Cars like the starter vehicle Miragra and trucks like the Burninator or Big Boss cannot be given more trunk space through mods. They just don't work, but the remodeled vehicles are the ones that the trunk space mod can affect only. When you have a vehicle that cannot change the trunk capacity, you know it was a model from original release. Hope this helps you understand. I know it gets a little confusing sometimes.

I just hope for a mod that won't limit the amount of outposts you can have. I mean, if you hire plenty of survivors, it should make sense right? It's like regaining what was lost before the apocalypse.
I hope that SodD3 is like.. You start in a sanctuary There's other players in the open world You have to explore and unlock areas like an MMO ( FFXIV) There's no extra protection other that 1 lvl armor Making it fair game even when it's 4 or 6 on 1. You unlock guns and clothes but the health should be like hard-core. So if a team kills you snd you want to come back and snipe them. You have a chance. Then of course there should be clans and reputations so people know who's bad and eventually others go after them like Rogue Agents in Division. SoDs awesome !!!!!

This means sooo much is even possible now. Maybe there's a max of lvl 30 but if you die you die and you're like back in the hospital just waking up like Rick Grimes and you gotta start all over. Your friends will see your character and be like DAMM you died?!?! Why did you go without us lol Maybe be allowed to have multiple characters like Zombies in Cod does. SoD should focus on MMO style. If I want armor I gotta clear out a police station overwhelmed with zombies etc. Then the whole place is ours and we have access to armor. If you're not good you have to sit back and watch other players who are equipped make their way through. And you can follow cause the zombies don't stop responding etc. Idk I just think FFXIV and the sanctuaries and the different areas of harder difficulties .
Just a question, why on earth would you want SoD3 to be an MMO? To me who has enjoyed both titles that seems like the absolute last thing I want. SoD is unique because it lets you play entirely at your own pace, throwing in MMO elements will kill this franchises entire vibe. The only thing they really need to add (imo) to SoD3 is loot targeted points of interest, community building and base building mechanic overhaul, remove coop tethering and allow each player to make community adjustments, a much bigger map now that they have the budget to do so and make the end game difficult. Anything else is absolutely icing on the cake but an MMO is absolutely the furthest thing away from what the majority of fans who find this game appealing want.

Hallo Roland. Der Mod Manager verwaltet die Mods nur, installieren musst du sie tatsächlich noch selber :-). Es kann sein dass die Anzeige bei den schwarzen Herzen nicht funktioniert...die deaktiviere ich immer.

Thank you. If someone enjoys the original balance of things, for example the flimsy flashlight or somewhat tedious search mechanic, then there is nothing wrong with that. Mods only add more choice, which is a great thing. And to see how many players are still active and how many mods are existing and still updated only speaks for the game. It really is the best alternative for all who wanted "A Day Before" to be a good game.
How did you get the trunk mod to work?. It crashes the latest version of the game. Also any other vehicle storage mod makes vehicles non interactable objects.
Well yes, it is in the video. You can in theory pick a face you like and then fully customize all the traits, perks, bonuses, etc. At 10:07 the Community Manager Mod - Link in the description.

Mods from Nexusmods are PC only, on console it would need an integration via the game.

My community editor isn't working and I'm on V34/Update 34 for SoD2
the 4th mod does not increase the capicity of every vehicle, sedans still have the same capacity
Really? To my knowledge it just doubles the trunk space of every vehicle...but I have not used a sedan so far.

So far I have not seen such a mod - but the I always try to keep my community as small as possible :-)
