with the fade blade it can heat up a lil but with the fusion/faper blade like sean is using it runs cool and glides better, i use the same blade on the red lo pro

@@ohhiowen definitely get the influencer over the previous versions, because the click lever on the influencer are more smooth and doesnt pop at the end like it used too and the lever opens up more i believe 4.2 mm and dennis mentioned it has a bit more torque and i feel hes right it cuts through hair easy

I've been a fan of the master blade, been waiting on philthy blendz to restock his modified babyliss bracket that allow you to put a master blade on the lo pros 😮💨

I've been watching your videos for a few days, I've had a Wahl Super Taper for several years, I use it to trim my beard every 3 or 4 days but the lever broke and I'd like to buy a new machine. It's just to thin and trim the beard a bit and keep it short, but there are so many options on the market that it's crazy to choose haha. I am grateful for any recommendation.
Something like this or a Wahl senior or magic clip will be similar to what you’ve been using

I’m using these lo pros a lot lately. Other than that the gamma boosted is my favorite for fading. Trimmer either a skeleton fx or the stylecraft saber
Hey sean was just wondering what's a good taper blade to put on them I just got the yellow one's?
I just got mine yesterday I zero gapped them when I turn it on runs for about 3 seconds then dies I left it charging for 3 hours still same issue, any recommendation how to fix it?
They have a feature that turns them off if the motor senses drag. Make sure they’re well oiled and adjusted right

What is the previous version of NEW Influencer Edition Lo Pro FX? Are you talking about BaBylissPRO Lo Pro FX (i.e. FX825)?
Idk the numbers but the regular lo pro in black, gold, rose gold. Those were the originals

I just got the bmg 50 cals 🥲and the intincts not even a month ago, i hope the bmgs dont vibrate as much as the insticts but i might get the lo pro Influencers if the bmgs vibrate too much
Haven’t used the BMG but yeah the instinct vibrates crazy
I have the yellow ones and am still using how they came straight out the box and no really impressed, do you recommend zero gapping them ?
I don’t zero gap anything. Just adjusted close 👌🏻 worth a try. Sometimes just a slight tweak absolutely changes how something cuts
Hey Sean great video man! Random question, I have the wahl seniors and I’m sure you know the fade blade on it gets hot super quick, I’m thinking of swapping it with the babyliss taper blade? What you think? Will it keep the blade from getting as hot?
To be honest I don’t really understand what makes some clippers/blades hot. I don’t have that issue too often. I’d try it and see if it helps

I don’t think that’s worthy of a whole video, just take the two screws off, take the blade off and swap with the fusion, then out the screws back on. I have a blade adjusting video that shows that process. Works the same with any blade
Can you remove the notches on the babyliss gold fx clippers? just like you did on these one?

Who makes the Fusion/Faper blade. And, does it fit Gamma+ and Babyliss FXBoost?
Gamma/stylecraft makes it and yes it fits all those

Yeah it fits, I believe I used the Babyliss cutting blade

Haven’t used it in a while but I’m pretty sure the rose gold opens like the original black. These open almost twice as long

My clippers been randomly turning off after i flip the lever
Make sure they’re oiled well. These new Babyliss have a new feature that turns off if it senses too much drag to protect the motor.
I have two clippers with the fusion blade. Not a fan of them. I like the taper blades more. The only reason why I haven’t swap them out because one is good for clipper over comb and the other to blend the zero line.
It is slightly different but once I switched I couldn’t go back. I use to be taper blade all the way!

I don’t have much of a problem with blades getting hot so I’m not best to answer that
Graphite, the graphite coating of the blade keeps it cooler than standard blades

They’re both my main clippers right now. These are heavier so just depends on what weight you prefer

I wouldn’t say replace. Been using them both though

Just take the lever off and pull the piece with the spring out of the lever that clicks into the notches

i have em, I honestly have them in rotation. i would put them number one but they die a little too quick for me. also I feel like they could make better guard for babyliss. the one and the half for get low as they should compared to wahl
