- Today's seed found a nice game-breaking bug in part due to dungeon shuffle.
New features exclusive to Archipelago currently:
- Freestanding heart pieces and gasha seeds are randomized
- Trade quest items are shuffled into the item pool and each individual one can be turned in separately for an item check
- A few NPCs who give items when talked to are now shuffled in
- Ability to randomize number of required essences
- All shop slots have randomized items including the advance shop
Archipelago is a way to play multiworld games across many unique games from things like Zelda to Hollow Knight to Megaman Battle Network to Pokemon. More information can be found at archipelago.gg/

Have you ever found a game-breaking bug?
Ive had incompletable seeds before, ive found some in rom hacks but i cant think of any in a vanilla game
I just did a seasons seed today 3 essenses but i ended up with 5 essences before i got the sword
It was a biggoron sword seed
In Metroid zero mission I got the grab grip thing to soon and it crashed the game and deleted the save data too and saw a bunch of pixels all over the game and almost destroyed windows and restarting windows fixed it.
I’m late for the stream, but good luck
When i mentioned each harp instead of being progressive was their own tune last seed this isn't what i had in mind
Thank you for this one, @mashystrr! Do you think the glitch is related to the wrong keys in D6?
Sounds pretty possible
I had a seed on karafruit's version with keysanity and dungeon swap that had the exact same situation. Luckily the spoiler log shows inaccessible items.
At 2:07:04, a compass chime went off. Doesn't that mean key? But it was the stink bag... is that another bug?
Yeah, the compass chimes are currently only sounding in rooms where you find a key in the vanilla game, not where keys actually are.
This looks interesting but I only have a Chromebook.
I'm curious about randomisers.
Is there a chance of a randomisation to be unclearable?
There is usually logic that prevents a seed from being unclearable. Sometimes there's a bug or edge case that lets an unclearable through.
I don't know if the Oracle games have it, but there are a few randomizers out there that have a no logic option, meaning that something could be placed in an area that can't be accessed without the item in question.
