Taiwan was a country and one of the co-founders of the current United Nation. Communist China replaced Taiwan in UN because of the West. This is very important to notice. Taiwan is the co-founder of this UN. Without this fact, everyone believed Taiwan independent is the new thing. But Taiwan was and is always independent if one not COUP by the West in the Cold War. Communist China didn't have any role at the time and several decades later until the West Coup in UN.
I taught all those Taiwanese kids back in the 1990s. Now they grew up and they want to be free.

@@cnlbenmc and many Russian soldiers have actually fighting experience, while China's army don't, how will it be going from military parades to actual war? I have seen some Chinese military parades and they are superb, never seen that level of syncronization. So I wonder if they spend too much time doing reharsal then actual fighting training.

Taiwan is 100 times more important to the world economy than Ukraine.
They'll never get enough troops over that 180 km (110 miles) sea, very hard to cross over without getting sunk. If the West stops business with China that's at least 40% of their GDP gone. Also, Taiwanese actually have an effective military force. Meaning Chinese won't do anything, but sure are pissed off that Taiwan exists. If the good ol' U.S. mobilizes it can wage war on two or three fronts, easily. It would turn nuclear at some point, Chinese are smart enough to hold it, don't make a move.

The United States spends more on its military than the next 10 largest countries combined. We have been spending this way on our military for 80 years. Think on this for a moment.
If the United States were involved in a conflict where it felt genuinely threatened, all of these military resources would be used to annihilate the enemy. The geography of the United States makes it nearly impossible to invade it. Because of this fact, we can fight as long as our people desire.
That and if a war with a substantial world power like China were to happen, the US would only invest much more into its military much like it did during WWII. During WWII 40% of the economy went towards the military. Right now we spend roughly 3%. We also have most of the worlds brightest minds and innovators. Something to keep in mind when thinking of military technology.
That’s because the US buys overpriced garbage.
China is a nuclear power and could wipe out US. Spending a lot of money on the military doesn't mean you actually have a powerful military. NATO is unable to defeat Russia in Ukraine right now. And China's economy in PPP terms is bigger than US, so China can actually outspend the US now.
The U.S. has the most powerful military in the world. No one can defeat the U.S. in war, let them try. The U.S. is a nuclear power too.

That's the Japanese military/Self Defense Force flag. More accurately, that's the one for the Japanese navy/Maritime Self Defense Force. They never stopped using it, except for the period of American occupation when the Japanese military was completely disbanded. The reason you haven't seen that flag very often is because you probably haven't seen the Japanese Self Defense Force very often.

Your comment is very narrow minded and biased. In such a war between the US, China and Taiwan, more players would be involved than you think. Russia in Europe, China in the pacific, Iran/Iraq/Syria in the middle east, and Zone B forces in Venezuela using the cartels to push violence into central/north America. When discussing Pakistan's economy you must realize it is the result of debt servicing inabilities. If everyone cuts off trade, the debt no longer matters, and a transition to being self sufficient would be considerably easier, especially as contracts would no longer be honored. Pakistan can produce its own food, pharmaceuticals and essential supplies. You also have to realize that Pakistan can receive petroleum from the middle east from it's allies, and if they refuse, Iran or Russia which will happily supply it. Pakistan also has a robust military industrial complex, far superior to Indias. Pakistan can produce, repair and maintain its military hardware a lot easier as most of it is locally produced, reverse engineered or procured from allies. India's military equipment is sourced from every corner of the world, and is hurt by excessive regulations / logistics of size. So, if there was to be a two front war of Pakistan + China vs India, the Indian side would not be able to do anything.
Tl:dr, Pakistan gets involved to help China, India would have to risk being dragged into a nuclear war if it was even close to "demilitarizing" Pakistan. Similarly, if it made incursions into China, the same outcome is possible. Hence India will not do anything, nor will Pakistan. However if one side does get involved, the other will follow and it is likely both will choose to walk away rather than nuke each other over Taiwan, which isn't "a big deal" to either of them.
More can be achieved from diplomacy than violence, and encouraging jingoistic behavior is not good especially during these times.
@@mohammadshah8286 1st Pakistan economic problems is due to 2 reasons first is Excessive Debt trap debts and Inability of its economy to make enough money, even if Pakistan refuses to pay debt still its economy would be unable to support a war even of small scale at this point
2nd, In my knowledge Pakistan doesn't even have the Most basic industry LET ALONE a military complex, Majority of weapons are from Usa and China and in situation if war Usa wouldn't allow or supply Pakistan any weapons nor China as it will Prioritize its equivalent for their own War front first
3rd- what i know India uses multiple origin weapons which is a Double edge sword, as yes it will logistically more complex but will Give India a multitude of good weapons and ability to shift to different weapons if Russian deny weapons to them

I think by Pakistan military complex you mean jf17, but Reality is Jf17 is a Chinese origin jet developed and manufactured by china, Pakistan only does Semi Assembling, This isn't called military complex, China itself doesn't use Jf17 and As per multiple reports after Googling it seems that jf17 is a Very problematic jet as Eurasian times, Taiwan news,NHK etc has reported that its availability rate is below 30% with half fleet grounded due to lack of spares

Strategically speaking, with the development of long range JASSM cruise missiles by the U.S, a long range attack on Beijing from Seoul wouldn't be out of the question. If China were to become hostile, the U.S in theory would be able to cut off the military's operations and eliminate the Chinese top brass rather quickly if a war started. Not to mention that there is an entire naval convoy that is always forward deployed to the eastern coast of Japan and South Korea. I think that at the moment the U.S already has measures in place for an attack either from the North Koreans or from the Chinese. Which theoretically might be what is preventing Xi Jinping and his forces from making any brash moves, because he knows that the U.S is prepared to retaliate at a moments notice. I would say the best strategy is to put pressure on Beijing in order to cause destabilization in military organization.

The statement that the Philippines would be unwilling to take the US side is certainly disproved by the recent signature of 10 bases agreements between the Republic of the Philippines and the USA. Singapore has done similar and we expect very soon Vietnam will announce similarly.

Military strength has rarely been China's selling point. China dominated East Asia thru its superior culture and economic might. But now that the CCP largetly destroyed China's culture, it can only expect an economy victory.

@@razmanhanafiah4839 back in the 1770s the US won the revolutionary war not because it was stronger, it was many times weaker than the British, however, it was guerilla warfare (essentially). Guerilla warfare is when the citizens form small "military" groups to defend their own country. Its the reason the US won the revolutionary war and lost the Vietnamese war. China would be most definitively fighting a guerilla force. Also, this experience against small militaries is better than china's border skirmishes. its also hard to say, that even if Russia helped they'd be much help at all, Ukraine is holding its own against this so called "superpower"

Entirely unnecessary. The main "fight" will happen in the Malacca Strait and off the southern tip of India. Shut down the flow of oil, and the PRC will be forced to capitulate in under two months.
That "fight" won't need aircraft carriers. Oil tankers are slow and lumbering. They have a crew of only around a dozen people. Usually entirely unarmed. You can interdict carriers with small teams in tiny little boats. Inflatables with outboard motors would work. Is China going to start launching hypersonic missiles at every little dinghy on the water?
The battle around Taiwan will be largely a sideshow. The only clashes around Taiwan will be ones that combine minimal risk with maximum impact. The platforms used will be drones, submarines, stealth aircraft, and maybe some special forces. Surface ships like aircraft carriers won't be sent in until China's missiles have been entirely de-fanged. Maybe once the PRC's satellites have all been destroyed? Possibly not until it is time for mop up duty.

@@robertschultz6922 The vast majority of the Russian oil that China imports is conveyed by tankers that load up in the Black or Baltic Seas. Those flows will be shut down when the Persian Gulf and African flows are shut down.
Only 3-4% of China's imported oil is delivered via pipeline, and it is likely that that percentage will drop over the coming months/years. Those flows were overseen by Western companies like Exxon, Shell, and Halliburton, and those companies all left when Putin invaded Ukraine. Unless you think the Russians were employing Exxon, Shell, and Halliburton out of charity, those companies' expertise was necessary to keeping those projects running.
@@yopyop3241 I respectfully disagree with you on certain points. The Russian leadership will not allow the pipelines to deteriorate, I do believe they will instead start construction on more pipelines to counties like China. They know that is the only way they can make fundings to continue their so called "special Operations"(war against Ukraine). I also don't see China being cut off from the sea. As you can see with their current exercises they have a pretty good Navy and are constantly upgrading. I might be wrong, I've been out of the service for a few years but Chinese subs are getting better almost on par to Western ships like Japan.
@@yopyop3241 you are correct though that the western oil companies have left thankfully and it's going to take a lot for Russia and China to upgrade the pipelines and construct more, but I can see they will put resources into the project
