- Did things get better or worse? - Yes. Unfortunately I didn't progress too far on PS5, so I could only use free-roam gameplay. Also, it's quite tricky to match weather in free-roam and I was able to do this on Series X.
I regret buying this game... I really hope we get good updates. I'm from Brazil, and I spent R$200 on this... extremely expensive for a game that feels like it's still in beta.

I can normally ignore a large amount of pop-in (I’ve grown too used to it). But having this bad of a pop in for a racing game is just absurd. I need to see where I’m going in a racing game. I shouldn’t need to question whether or not I should slow down for a sharp turn that hasn’t popped in yet. I shouldn’t have to predict where the traffic might be on a long straightaway.
nah, the game was simply too ambitious for such a small dev. theyve never done an open world game before, theres no way this game wouldve ever been good. you would need a much higher budget and more competent and experienced devs to make a proper test drive unlimited 3.

The car's surface is reflecting blue sky while surrounded by buildings or shadowy objects, creating blue haze around the outline of the car and it looks out of place Also they decreased Ambient occlusion underside of the car after beta test, which also makes car look like floatingish
Not just lighting. Buildings and streets look like nfs underground 2. car models are atrocious. Cars have no reflection. Sounds are underwhelming. Map is horrible. List goes on.

@@zenkoz3158 dimensions are off with many cars. Some cars have badly modeled taillights and curves. Sometimes the roof is to high or too low. There’s a lot wrong with modelling.

You shouldn’t don’t buy this game I was highly optimistic about it all my friends have refunded the game based off their last Dev diary video on Nacon’s channel completely ruined it for us based off them telling the truth unknowingly saying what the game is about and the terrible network design choices they made for the casual mode and ranked mode I can careless about the graphics and optimization as long as it runs what I’m extremely disappointed about is them not knowing the games core experience is about and then failing at making a simple mmorpg through terrible network choices they should have followed TDU2 blueprint exactly for the mmorpg layout and for the rank and casual experience use a peer to peer network system for the regular open world and a dedicated server for ranked modes separate from the casual experience instead everything is ran through the same dedicated server network so when one part of the game doesn’t work nothing works at least if they separated it the casual open world experience would be fine and ranked would messed up and shutdown and to give solo players a offline experience online give invite only sessions and friends only sessions that’s all you have to do whoever decision it was to run everything through one server was a complete idiot especially since this is not a triple A game developer where they have thousands of Devs to fix things instantly or with the same week every major mistake they make requires months of work they have to be way more thoughtful of their decisions compared to Triple A because they don’t have the man power

@@Kortex_Racing RTX 3070ti R5 5600X 32gb ram and the game barely runs at 60fps in some places at 1080p ultra with dlaa, the majority of the game runs at 40-30fps with drops of 20fps. The optimization is just bad and they seem to not know how to fix it, as they dont know how to fix the servers
Don't let the state of this game blind you about FH5. I won't be buying FH6 untill I'm sure they fixed the issues I have with FH4/5. It's a far better game than TDUSC, but the bar of TDUSC is so low it's not even there.

On PC it's a bit better. Framerstes are higher. Getting around 45-60 @3.2k ultra and 60+ @ 1440p Ultra. Only thing that ticks me off is that this is the only game that will crash on me using my normal overclock settings. All my other 35 games work perfectly fine. This game is too demanding for it's own good and it doesn't even look that great.
Why didn't you test the interior views too? The interior view would absolutely tank the framerate before so it would be nice to know how much it improved
There are no improvements when using chase camera, so I'm guessing that this is the same story with cockpit view. Also, game has specific regions where framerate likes to drop below 40FPS. Which I wanted to use in this comparison.
It is empty like hell, it looks not good graphicaly wise, driving model is very pure, lightning is terible. I bought now in discount Crew Motorfest and it is 100x better game then this for a friction of prize. This game has fundamental problems in core of the game no patch will solve that out ...I loved TDU and TDU2 spent my childhood playing it a lot enjoying it very much ..this has nothnig to do with TDU !!

The progression is actually so boring. If you want to reach max level apart from exploring the map you'll have to do the same races over and over again
@@MysteriousMatt89 the cars feel cheap and mobile game like, maybe because they are modeled in blender or unity or some shi, they're also missing alot of detail and have lots of inconsistencies. The graphics ruin the map for me even tho it's pretty ok, my only gripe with the map is how dead and devoid of life it feels, the quiteness and hazy graphical fidelety just do not do the map justice, hong kong is actually very beautiful but ingame it's kinda shyte. The handling is the only good part, even tho i didn't dig it as much, i still prefer forza's handling model.
