U need the lighter to help burn away its outer layer of plastic so u can scape it away easier with a knife or razor blades to expose the metal beneath in order to get a connection to the speaker 😊 I've been repairing own headphones this way since I can remember 😅 n they worked very well sometimes better than before ❤

The better way is : Use an extern applifier , connect it with a cable like in this video and with a stereo amplifier you can use 2 loudspeakers and you will even hear in stereo !

You have to use only one wire for one speaker left or right with the ground wire.. if your have 2 speaker you can use both left wire and right and ground wire for both speaker..
