My all time favorite Tripel - eventhough I live only a twenty minute bike ride away from the La Trappe abbey (Koningshoeve)! The benchmark to which all other tripels have to measure themselves... and have fallen short still, in my opnion. A work of art!
I wood recommend starting with the milder, lower alcohol beers, unless you are already a fan of Belgian beers. Jumping into a Belgian tripel or quadruple can be daunting.
Hi. AHB I understand your in Canada 🇨🇦 I’m looking for a simple first brew. I would like to do a chck pils something lite any suggestions ?? I am also in Canada 🇨🇦 What part of Canada are you in ?? P
I'm in Vancouver. Pilsners or light Lagers can be hard for a first try. I didn't try those until about my 8th batch. Blonde ales, or Amber ales are pretty straightforward. Make sure you sanitize well, and are able to control the temperature during fermentation. Good luck!

This is another classic!
One of my favourite beers ! Great review! Can you please have a look at triple Karmeliet? That’s an insane beer
That's definitely on my list. I'm going to with my way through Trappist Beers for awhile, then expand beyond... Stay tuned
Clear informative video! Keep them up. I've just started tasting Belgian beers so this series will be great to introduce some trappist beers.

Westmalle is a good place to start!
This is great thanks for the awesome content, I will try to hunt this one down at my local store
Westmalle, Chimay and La Trappe are the biggest... So you're more likely to find those than the others. Thanks for watching!
