My now senior has noticed that with the change to all you can eat option, less accommodations are made for the students with food allergies. When she questions the staff about ingredients, they are unable to answer. Her first year was great but with the changes to the dining platform she doesn't get her monies worth most weeks.

We're sorry to hear that. It is possible that Dining staff will not always know the ingredients in each dish served on all days. For the most up-to-date information on ingredients and nutrition/allergen information, we recommend browsing our daily menus online at go.wisc.edu/housing-menus. There, each menu item can be clicked on for a detailed look at allergy and nutrition information, as well as serving sizes and a detailed ingredients list that isn't always available at our dining facilities in-person. We also offer resources specifically for those with dietary/allergen concerns, including a guide, self-declaration form, and an app for those with severe allergen & dietary needs that allows them to place pick-up orders in advance quickly and easily at www.housing.wisc.edu/dining/nutrition. For questions or additional concerns, feel free to contact our registered dietitian at dietitian@housing.wisc.edu.
