Like Sanjis new cooking Skills and Zoros Techniques. Frankys New knowledge comes from his Machines, ussoup with his plants and Chopper with his medical Skills. Robin and Brook show some newly acquired skills like Robin's Cloning And Brooks Ice slashes and Nami has new techniques. Each StrawHat gets his Time to shine.
franky in general needs to be highlighted more. a god tier engineer is a goldmine for worldbuilding. i loved all the moments of him acting as a combat engineer, building the bridge in thriller bark etc.
Franky’s silhouette in the background while the whole lab was in flames had me cracking up badly that my rib cage started paining and tears rolled down!
I can't believe Franky fell for the same skull = pirate mark = good thing that Chopper did. Chopper at least has the excuse of being the mental equivalent of a naive toddler at the time. Franky, on the other hand, is a 30 year old world experienced engineer who should know better.

Since vegapunk's tech are really from the past, we can assumed that the One Piece world is set into post-apoclyptic dystopian time. Just think about it, there are so many anachronistic technology, some peoplr are still using wooden ships, while some are possessing high tech weapons. You can see a lot of modern and medieval elements here. So maybe in the past, their world is just like ours and reached their peak technological advances, creating giants, mermaids or any manipulation to human kind including the invention of devil fruits, creating the redline,controlling the weather etc. And shit happened, war broke around many nations and only 20 kingdoms emerged as victors which is thr world government. And they suppressed any knowledge from the past. Sadly, they forget it too that's why technological regression became rampant. And now they are digging the past, finding lost knowledge from the modrrn world using vegapunk.
