That FARM tractor runs "circles"around these so-called compact tractors today. Love to watch someone trying to plant snd cultivate with these new compact loaders. What an iconic machine, I'm still using my father's Case SC with an International pull behind disc, nice job!
That sure is going to be a huge Garden! I was raised on a farm and we had while we're called truck Gardens. We sold a lot of the produce to city folks and in the fall we canned. You and that old tractor sure got a good workout, thanks for sharing.
That brought back memories of mowing a piece of property I once owned. So relaxing. Also, as much as I tried there was always this triangle piece at the end, that messed up my nice straight rows!
Howdy brother- that sure brings back some memories. When I grew up we always had a huge garden. My Dad continued to use that garden spot until he was 91. We ate what we grew. Take care and God bless
Jerry's videos are about him doing things the old way. Sure, chemicals make life easy but this type of farming was used for hundreds , if not thousands of years and was the way it was done in times gone by. Weed control was done in this manner before a crop was in the ground. An old fashioned hoe or cultivator was used and still is after the crop came up.
Thank you my friend. Installed the culture on the tractor yesterday, and have my hoe ready as well. Also picked up an old walk behind culture. Have a wonderful weekend
When I was young, farmers in Georgia would plow their fields before the weeds seeded out for weed control without chemicals. It really worked well but modern farmers only want to disc the land and use chemicals for the weeds. They have lost their way with the modern way of thinking.
You can't disk with a crop in the ground. Chemical control keeps you from cultivating multiple passes in a field. There is. It the time for that and for sure not the money to make that many passes over a field.

Get you a swinging drawbar to use pulling that disc. You’ll thank me if you do
Not bad for a engine around 20hp
I like your videos but you need to work on audio. Keep it going 👍
