Peanut and jelly in the end are very cute, always an awesome video when Chris and Beck are in the shop. Great video guys. Can't wait to see Beck's jeep out on the trails. Come on Chris get the rover fixed and get back to wheeling
Your content is the best. Maybe a technical channel and an experience channel to differentiate the value each couple offers? I enjoy the technical stuff you and Beck (?) offer the best. You two rock!
I installed the Howell EFI system on my '86 CJ7 and it works like a champ and allowed me to finally pass the California smog test. What's great about the EFI is the amount of wiring and vacuum hoses I got to remove from the engine. My only complaint about Howell was the installation manual and photos; a lot of reading and the photos were not in color and not super clear. But their support guy, Troy, is awesome and was a great help during the install. There are not a lot of install videos on YT or on the Howell website which would have been nice.
Nice work in the shop and the video! I just started a rebuild on an 84 CJ7 with a swapped out 4.2l FI. Over the years the mods have piled ontop of each other with no one taking the time to do anything but the minimum required to get the machine running again. It looks like the wiring was done as a 9th grade science project. UGH! By examining the images of your video I am able to find the clues that will help me out of this mess! Good work!
I used Howell for the 502 I dropped in the motorhome. It was a good kit, but had some tuning issues. I ended up driving it to Howell and we spent the better part of the day fixing the tune. That gave me a pretty good education on tuning. We got it close, but over the next year I played with it and dialed it in. I ended up sending the refinement back to them, as they needed for another 502 they were doing.
Great episode. Wish I never sold my 85 CJ7, but my JL is awesome. Move the compressor outdoors (build a tiny shed, can also be a good waste fluid room) and install radiant heat to avoid your noise issues. Also the radiant is cheaper and will heat everything evenly, no up and down cycling.
The only thing that keeps me watching is the fabrication work that Bec and Chris do, very talented indeed. I can only hope to weld as well as either of you. Keep up the great and educational content
Great job!! I have a difficult family with Germany, and the Second World War. My first family member in America was in 1863, and he actually fought for the North in the American Civil War. Anyways, he is my 2nd great grandfather. My grandfather had 15 siblings. His oldest two brother were in the Great War, and both survived. But one of their uncles would not “Americanize”, and stayed true to Germany in all ways. Well, my grandfather and his next brother were in the Second World War. My mothers maiden name was Neinmann, but turned to Newman in 1917. So, my connection to Germany has been on many different levels, and in many different ways. I took German in college, and my family, to include my wife and mine, still eat many traditional meals. But I think your channel is great! But this was so much better than I would’ve imagined!! Herausragende gnädige Frau
Smiling! Fuel tank repair or replacement, I have done a couple of them on my 2 CJ7's and a couple on mine and a friend 87 YJ's. Just a pain because everything is rusted and dirty.
I know some people will think that’s money wasted or it cost to much! But for the reliability, performance and PEACE OF MIND, that’s gonna give the owner out in the middle of nowhere on a trail it’s PRICELESS!!! My Dad’s CJ5, I remember being a kid going down the road and the lights just cut off and we sat on the side of the road messing with stuff until they finally came back on! Lol! Now I have a 98 XJ that only has Bright lights🙄 these videos makes me want to get my dads CJ and fix it up so bad! He’s just not ready to part with her yet! But ONE DAY!!!! I’ll cram my 6’2” 230lb Big Ass in it and get to building on it! 😂
Lights went off because of the floor dimmer switch. It gets super hot because of the amps going through it and the location is dam near hazardous. IF you do get it, LEDs, or a relay between dimmer and lights, FYI.
@@dylancampbell5142 cool thanks Dylan! I hope I do get it! I know the XJ they say the lights have issues because the wiring isn’t big enough and sell a harness for that problem. But if you know of a cheaper fix I’d appreciate it! Thanks Again!!!
You can also put both sized hole saw blades on the chuck at the same time to make a bigger hole out of a big hole - might save some time on the next one.
Oh…..and you guys are 100% Lite Brite and extremely entertaining to watch. You’re a great addition to the channel and add a huge amount of value to it as a whole……rant over, just scrolled too far through the comments and got to the gunk at the bottom…..have a nice day, bye.
Engineering and adaptation fueled by experience! Chris, you are fabulous. And Bec a flexing wiring wonder! Nice friend to have around. Does that CJ have a 4.0/242 or the older 258CI? Dashounds galore! Everybody wants licks..er, I mean loves! LiteBriteNationRescuesJeeps!
Hey Chris, I am taking care of a 5 year field abandonned car :p It had an empty metalic fuel tank. I was about to order a new one, am I right? or is there any magic trick to "save" the actual one if not too rusty inside?
There are companies out there that will coat the inside with a plastic material. unless you can get a tank cheaper. I cant think of any at the moment, but they are out there.
What's the email address to ask about some work to be done? I know it's in an older video somewhere, but the odds of me finding that are slim. Unless yall already have so many inquiries, your yr is already filled up? Let me know, please.
I have a Howell kit in my CJ7. I can highly recommend them. It passed smog with no problems.
Very cool, My CJ7 had a goat tied to it in a field when I bought it. Have fun on the rebuild!

Chris, another good shop video. Parts.... Always waiting.
As a CJ5 owner, this build is awesome. Please keep this project coming. The orange jeep was cool, but original, or even resto-mod, is king!!
Chevrolet C10 fan motor mounting holes were in alignment. Amazing how parts are often interchangeable. 👍😊
I've got an 82 CJ-7 that I'm getting ready to do some serious work on this winter, I believe I need one of these fan motors!
Square body Chevy FTW! Cool when you find cross match parts like that
As always thank you for your time.
Excellent job you two! Happy Trails to you all at LBN!
He's looking great! Glad to see a Howell efi going in. Sean loves how you got the blower to fit:)
Wish I could have movie magic 😂. I bet Bec is a blast on Christmas morning!! I can't wait to see everything together!!❤❤💯🤙

I just pulled an 83 CJ7 out of an abandoned yard that was setting since 94 and I had it running in a couple of evenings of tinkering with it.
thanks chris and Beck, for sharing what you do. you are appreciated.

another great C & B ep !

You're doing a fine job chris
Hey kids..., always great stuff. Kudos... & stay safe & warm. America First!
Chris , I was hoping you could film the complete assembly of the steering wheel mount to the new column and horn set up
Adorable dogs
I'm working on my dad's old cj5 now. It's got an AMC 304 with dual side exit glasspacks lol
Said it before...that custom exhaust, sick!
LOVE the puppies;)
Love the tech content - this is making we want to start looking for a CJ to build! Great job Chris and Beck!
Laughed my ass off when Chris tossed the box and yall added the scream sfx 😂🤣
Great vid! Love the content

Becs is so beautiful
Bec and Chris show... Bec you look happy. Christmas in April.
Fed Ex is "lagging" with your parts because they're busy fixing their bumper 😂
You gotta put a ring on that finger.
Good morning all !!!
Great project.
Good stuff as usual

I didnt have the size, HAHA i wanted too.
CJs were made by AMC, American Motor Corporation. Lots of GM and Ford parts on them.
Just watched Brittany in the hyperdrive she has come a long way
Jeep looks hungry
Is it because of the weather? Or, is it because you tore his freaking bumper off?
First Again?! How do I do it!
2 shop videos this week! Woo hoo
Well it is an All Makes Car 😊
How in the world did you find that the blower wheel was the same as the '73 C10?
I bet Dennis Collins knows this.
Have a friend that restored a Willys that was in a field in KS for probably 50 years....lots of cool 'patina'. A bit rustier than yours.
hope you can get a dash pad, I couldn’t find one for my almond beige cj7
Cute doggies.... 🙂
The 83 CJ was made by AMC which stands for "All Makes Combined" so of course the Chevy C10 blower fits.
Dogs always steal the sean!!
Needs a helephant swap!
I totally agree with you about putting a hellaphant swap for sure 👍💯

Awesome video again how is Beck Jeep Doing? Can we see some of It? May I share a Awesome paint Job for this Jeep?
If you want to sell that 2 barrel Weber hit me back. I'd love to have it.
Idk if you know the guys from the story till now (tstn) and trailreacon or not but it would be cool if you guys would make a video together
What about the rust on the floor
Did the Factor 55 guy tell you how to tow out the FedEx guy for the future?
hahaha you probably have one less FedEx truck running in your area because it's getting the front bumper fixed.
Like it
Wow! I wish I could get you and Beck to help me spend $20,000 on my $3,000 XJ Jeep Cherokee.

@@Garagespeedengineering thx :) I'll chek out if we have those in my country
All the money.
And then some.
what''s the plan for the jeep after completion of the project? Up for sale????
Nope. We're taking it home to CA and starting to plan for some off road fun!
@@shmoozequeen Cool, Hope you have lots of fun with it.
👍
Chris you need to pay Bec more so she can buy new pants and not have to wear holey hand me downs 😮
😂
So your feeding your husband to the jeep?
We are not married or dating, just work partners. 😀

We are not currently taking in any more work this year
Rat-narock
Never trust a dude that tucks his ears under his hat!
What a shame to ruin a great build , by putting modern fuel injection bullshit on it . Very disappointed in this build now !!
We couldn't get it to pass smog with the carburetor. If we weren't in CA we probably wouldn't have switched to efi.
Not a fan of the Howell kit I have the Holley Sniper EFI fit on my YJ
