I have been buying doodle fonts and thought "I can make my own" and after several youtube videos, I have to say that yours was the easiest to follow and every step included! Thank you so much!!!
This is GOLD ... thank you so much!!! I have wanted to know how to create my own doodle fonts so so long and now - thanks to you - I finally do!!!! 💖💝💖
WOW... This was an Amazing Tutorial💖 I'm more familiar with inkscape & have always wanted to learn how to do the Doodle font and I followed along and paused... I'm in love with my new Doodle font, THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing your knowledge and can't wait until your next Tutorial 💖
I am enjoying so much learning how to do this new trend with my designs. Awesome video. The only thing is trying to find fonts that would be good to use as a doodle. LOL
That is so true! I haven't made any new videos in a while. Maybe one with some good fonts for doodle designs, would be a good one to start back up with! ❤️ Thank you for watching and commenting. 😊
Thank you so much for sharing your expertise with us. You make it seem so easy. I look forward to making my own doodle font words using other fonts. Thank you again.😊
You are great, make the tutorial look more easy.. I have question 5:48 Is it possible to set the clip first, then separate the letters later? So ni need to change the letters one by one
Thank you! Glad I could make it easier for you! 🥰.. the only way I found so far is you can do that by separating the letters then line them up with each background then group your backgrounds then group your letters and then set clip. Of course you would have to ungroup again after. Just adds a few more steps, but it can be done that way as well! Hope that helps!
Thank you ☺️ I normally keep mine at CMYK. Not sure how much it does matter though 🤔 I normally change my printer settings to automatic for my ET15000 when I print. My colors are pretty accurate with that setting. You can always make a color chart and print then press it. That way you will always know how your colors will press. 👍
Hello, I have been trying to follow your steps and it hasn’t worked for me. When you click break apart the letters completely fill up with black even in the middles of like an A or a B. It creates many paths in the layers. I am not sure what is happening. If you have any advice that would be great! Thank you
Try selecting everything for just the one letter and go to path then combine. Should make it all one layer again. The only thing I can think of at the moment that might work. If I'm understanding the issue correctly.
Hi! You don't have to add the zig zags if you don't want to. Just normally when people think doodle font, that's what they have. But you can make it however you like there no right or wrong.just have fun. ❤️😊
So my design looks amazing until I download. The outline with the dashes is missing parts of the line after I download, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong 😫
@@londavalentine It's probably just something to do with your settings vs mine ... I did change a few things in my preferences, I can message you tomorrow and maybe we can figure it out. 😊👍
I really wish your links actually took us to the pattern you used rather than to the page you got some of them from. I really like the chevron pattern. However, searching through multiple pages isn't fun.
I apologize for some of the links not working, unfortunately there is nothing I can do, this video was made 9 months ago at this time. If the files are no longer available or have been moved, there's nothing I can do about that. The awesome thing is, you can use other amazing backgrounds and it will look just as great. ❤️ Be creative and make it your own. ☺️

How do you export the project once done?
You are great, make the tutorial look more easy..

How do you get the backgrounds? Are you purchasing those or is there a free option for those files?
I believe I have links in the description.. if not I'm sure most were all free from design bundles or creative fabrica-.
Thanks for the great video!
Are you creating your design in CMYK or RGB? Or does it matter? TIA!

I would try making sure you have everything grouped together and selected when exporting 👍
Select all before export and save it. But good group all before do it.
What version of Inkscape are you using?
The newest version I believe 1.2.2👍
@@flatcreekdigital mine doesn’t look like yours and I’m so confused
@@londavalentine do you have the latest version?
@@flatcreekdigital yes

Sad face.. i dnt have inkscape😢. I have PS and Illustrator
Cant you make the audio clear. Subject is good, but your explanation is very irritating due to the sound
I'll work on it, thanks for the suggestion.
