And as a new 10 month old mom, I want to do better for her but it’s hard. You make cleaning look so fun. I applied for a cleaning company and am hoping to get the job. Also if you have target circle, each time you purchase something, you earn 1% back into target circle to spend. So if it’s a small order before hand, it’s 1% of that. As well as a $500 purchase, it’s 1% of that too. So hopefully the person has something in their target circle app that can take off that little extra.
I either put the item back where I found or I give it to the cashier and tell them I changed my mind. At least it’s not lost in the store somewhere. ❤❤❤
To cut the .36, maybe get a smaller vinegar. I am decluttering my house and would use these cleaners to elimate the dust bunnies I am finding and make my house shine!🎉
My husband is just like the camera holder! I find myself turning back to make sure he puts items back that he HAD to show me... I'm a huge advocate for returning items to their destinations, including carts!

I especially hated having to toss fridge/freezer items bc I didn't know how long they'd been out. Once I even saw a pack of chicken just hanging out with the bandaids. So gross. I'll either put it away myself if it's close or needs to be kept cold or I'll bring it up front and let someone know I'm not getting it.
$100.36 is a win! At Target anyone can get a Target Red Card that's attached to your debit card and saves you 5% on every purchase. So around $5 on this and that would put you under budget. That kit is great. I could use it to deep clean every room in my house. Great to know Fabuloso is pH balanced. I'll have to try to find a scent I like.

We're house shopping right now and this kind of kit is great for move out/move in cleaning...nice and easy to move from room to room as you go.

As someone who used to work retail what I do if I no longer need to purchase an item is still take it to the cashier and just ask if they have a go-back they can put it on. A go-back is a group of items that need to be put back in their place. The workers appreciate it because it keeps their store organized and I like it because then I don’t have to spend time putting the item(s) back.
I also return products to their proper homes. Whenever a product shows "in stock" but is missing from the shelf, I can't help but think it's because someone grabbed it, had a change of heart, then left it in a random spot in the store. I would definitely use that cleaning kit to deep clean before and after holiday gatherings. Winter sick season is the worst! You have one of the most helpful channels on RUclips! ❤️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I really liked this video!!!! I was thinking, before you chose what to put back, the oven cleaner and the magic erasers haha- glad we were on the same page! If I got this kit, I would use it to do my cleanings on Fridays. I’m going back to work after my maternity leave on November 1st (we welcomed baby #3 this July!) and I don’t work on Fridays. With 3 kids and 3 adults living in this house (multigenerational household!) the cleaning is never ending. I’m hoping once I get back to work and develop a schedule, I can make cleaning a breeze. Wish me luck!

If it's a very large store and what I no longer want to buy is on the far-end, I've often been able to just leave them with the cashier. Idk if it's a Europe thing but they often have a few items there that someone will go and put back at the end of the day. Much easier for the employees just to put something back than to first have to find where you put it.

I like the cleaning kit you put together! How I would use it is making all your DIY recipes and deep cleaning my townhouse. I have trouble choosing great cleaners that also don’t cause headaches. I’ve never tried a Bona Floor system, so that would be really wonderful to try. If I won the cleaning kit I would give it to my daughter who moved to NYC from UK last year. I spend a lot of my time fielding calls and messages from her asking what she needs to buy to clean different things in her apartment. With this kit she would have it all sorted. Also when I come over to visit her I end up cleaning things for her as my late mother taught me lots of old fashioned ways to clean things that work just as well ( if not better) than modern day expensive products. The only thing that I might have put back was the swifter duster kit. I feel like you got the cleaning cloths which could be used for dusting as well and then be washed.

I'm 61, and I taught my kids and my grandchildren to put it back where you got it . This is also a rule in my home. I would love to be considered for the cleaning kit. I would use the new mop to give my floors a good cleaning. My flat mop broke, and my spin mop is not getting the job done. I would also give my bathrooms a really good scrub down. I think you did a good job, and I approve of the cuts you made. A good scrub brush does me more good than Magic Erasers, which I rarely use. If you don't let your oven get too dirty, it does not need oven cleaner. The multi purpose mop system is better than a broom, which does only one thing.

As someone leaving with dogs and two other roommates. The house gets dirty really quickly and as a broke college student i would really appreacite the cleaning kit to keep up the cleaning while saving some money for nursing school as well as help with my mental health. in my house we still use a traditional mop and would love to get into using a flat mop it seems more convenient and easier on my mom who has hand mobility issues and loves to clean.

I love a good challenge! This was great (your tips are awesome, thank you and also for just the inspiration to clean which is so helpful). If I won I would 100% be using these at my dad's house. My sister flew into Milwaukee (where he lives) to help him more on a day-to-day basis because he was recently diagnosed with an aggressive leukemia and she can WFH. She found that there was a lot (a LOT) of deep cleaning that was/is needed. So she had bought a few items but this would add to the cleaning power. 💪💪
As someone who just got divorced and had to but new cleaning products. Dollar tree was a great find! Also found your channel!! Could you do a video at a dollar tree sometime? Most of us don't have $100 to spend on cleaning stuff all at once.
Nice challenge! I put items back in the correct isle. You could cut the cost by seeing if they have a smaller pack of cleaning cloths or a smaller bottle of isopropyl alcohol or vinegar. I would use the kit to carry around the house to do my cleaning.
As a cleaner/housekeeper, I will share my tips on budgeting (hope that is ok): I would have put the glass cleaner back and used white vinegar instead to clean the windows. Why buy Mr Clean AND Fabuloso? One of them would have been enough. Cheap toilet brush is fine. If you buy bleach, just leave around the rim of the toilet and let it sit for 15 minutes. It will be sparking and very little scrub effort.. so your toilet brush will last even longer. Replace dusters with telescopic instead for high dusting and use Microfibre cloth to dust, instead. I would absolutely go for a Henry hoover. Bagged is always the way to go. Perfect for those with allergies as well, the ones with HEPA bagless filters are flimsy and a pain in the backside to keep cleaning.
Overall, great beginner kit for someone moving into their first place! Getting rid of the glass cleaner would have saved you a few bucks. The DIY alcohol, water and dawn solution makes my glass and mirrors shine better than Windex! I also try to put things back if I change my mind, as a former retail worker😊 giving them to the cashier is always an option to, theyre gonna have to do reshops anyway.
As a former librarian I totally support putting things back. Somebody has to do it. Might as well be you!

I would put back the fabuloso “floor cleaner”. The mr clean is great on floors and very similar overall.

Can you please do a Walmart version of this challenge? They are much cheaper than Target! Also to save money I would have been buying store brand products instead of national brands.

I love a good challenge! This was great (your tips are awesome, thank you and also for just the inspiration to clean which is so helpful). If I won I would 100% be using these at my dad's house. My sister flew into Milwaukee (where he lives) to help him more on a day-to-day basis because he was recently diagnosed with an aggressive leukemia and she can WFH. She found that there was a lot (a LOT) of deep cleaning that was/is needed. So she had bought a few items but this would add to the cleaning power. 💪💪

As someone who just got divorced and had to but new cleaning products. Dollar tree was a great find! Also found your channel!! Could you do a video at a dollar tree sometime? Most of us don't have $100 to spend on cleaning stuff all at once.

Nice challenge! I put items back in the correct isle. You could cut the cost by seeing if they have a smaller pack of cleaning cloths or a smaller bottle of isopropyl alcohol or vinegar. I would use the kit to carry around the house to do my cleaning.
As a cleaner/housekeeper, I will share my tips on budgeting (hope that is ok):
I would have put the glass cleaner back and used white vinegar instead to clean the windows.
Why buy Mr Clean AND Fabuloso? One of them would have been enough.
Cheap toilet brush is fine. If you buy bleach, just leave around the rim of the toilet and let it sit for 15 minutes. It will be sparking and very little scrub effort.. so your toilet brush will last even longer.
Replace dusters with telescopic instead for high dusting and use Microfibre cloth to dust, instead.
I would absolutely go for a Henry hoover. Bagged is always the way to go. Perfect for those with allergies as well, the ones with HEPA bagless filters are flimsy and a pain in the backside to keep cleaning.
I would use it in my cleaning business! I clean homes part time!

Overall, great beginner kit for someone moving into their first place! Getting rid of the glass cleaner would have saved you a few bucks. The DIY alcohol, water and dawn solution makes my glass and mirrors shine better than Windex!
I also try to put things back if I change my mind, as a former retail worker😊 giving them to the cashier is always an option to, theyre gonna have to do reshops anyway.

I would go to the Dollar tree or The Family Dollar and get really good cleaners much cheaper.
