Patricia Full yes! My momma does a little over a year ago. She lived a miserable life the last 15 years with her husband. He belittled her daily, cheated, made her feel like she was useless. It kills me everyday that she lived that way for so long. This asshole had the nerve to play Blue Ain’t Your Color at her funeral because it was her favorite song. Still not realizing it was because of him. She loved that song because of the hell he put her through.

My eyes are tearing up a bit now. He was putting me through some serious Hell. I was going on a mini eating disorder, and I was slowly growing depressed. It took my friend since fourth grade to get me back into shape. And, yet, he still doesn't know how much crap he put me through. I actually cried in front of my boyfriend when he did put me through hell and not calling to let me know he was okay. Eventually, he finally answered the phone. When Toby died, this song hit hard and I was crying so hard and so loud that I begged my mom to let my boyfriend sleep over just this once to help me get through this grief I am feeling since I found out. Toby was very inspirational and always connected with me on a deeper level with his music, especially when I was beaten and abused emotionally and physically.

Wow, never heard this song until now...It reminds me so much of my situation. With a guy, who is my ex, but were still pretty much together. I was with my ex for 5 years and I cheated multiple times. It's not something I'm proud of. She forgave me everytime but I knew things would never be the same. Eventually we called it quits, it was mutual. We just weren't right for each other. I know she stayed up night after night crying about my actions. She got married a couple years later and she called to tell me she was happy and i am truly happy for her. She deserves all the happiness in the world. I listen to this song and think of her.
