    Such a nice informative video I have one question how you are managing your betta fish with shrimp won't your betta hunt the shrimp or its juveniles

    • @JordanStirrat
      @JordanStirrat  6 месяцев назад

      He may get a few but he doesn't seem interested. It depends on the fish and its personality

    Thanks man! Really helped.. How are those tiny grass plants called, that grass field in the front? And do the shrimps really like those?

    • @JordanStirrat
      @JordanStirrat  Год назад

      It's called blood vomit. A slightly trickier plant to grow. Shrimp enjoy a planted environment. I am sure any plants will be good

      It can last for a long time but I recommend root tabs such as APT jazz from the 2hraquarist that is rich in ammonia/ nitrogen. You can use my first name for a 15% discount if you end up needing them

    How to you keep your scissors from rusting?

    • @JordanStirrat
      @JordanStirrat  Год назад +1

      I buy good quality aquascaping scissors. I prefer to invest in tools such as ADA so that they will last forever. Its good practice to dry you tools off afterwards but everyone forgets including me

    Stem plants arent really my favorite because you can only trim so much before you have to uproot them to discard the bottem stem and replant the top ones.

    Focusing on plants more than fish

    • @JordanStirrat
      @JordanStirrat  Год назад +1

      Well, creating a healthy planted environment directly benefits livestock. My water parameters are likely better than many fishkeepers without plants. My betta lived for a long time even though he had his health issues as they do, and I cared for that fish!
