The thing is insects have evolved to have painful stings ,you’re not gonna really hurt besides putting you in an extreme amount of pain snakebites on the other hand their poison is meant to kill so it causes all of damage to the body ,meaning he would never purposely get bitten by a snake

That cottonmouth was a beautiful. Usually you guys only find ones that are very black and dark. Also I like how the snakes' retreat after the strike is actually faster than the strike itself (either that ot the speed of the camera comes back up). If that is true it shows these snakes are truly only biting out of protection of themselves and are not aggressive attackers. They immediately pull away as fast as they can
