Still love how the reason that combat is how it is in base xeno 2 is canonically because lora was too poor to afford a weapon of her own so her and jin would share one.
And if just kind of picked up from there.
Here's a sad thought. Lora created the ideal fighting style between Driver and Blade that is used in Xenoblade 2, but no one remembers her, except for Jin and Mikhail. Jin is cursed with living so that he can preserve the memory of her and what she did for the world.
Someone should warn him about every single anime jrpg in existence

To think it was Jin and Lora that pioneered the way Blades and Drivers fight in vanilla XC2, the way they pass each other's weapon.

I've recently came across all this Xenoblade Chronicles content creators and happy/ sad I didn't find y'all sooner!
You know, there’s a fan theory that Rex is actually a direct descendant of Addam. Similar facial expressions and personalities, as well as in the beginning of the story when Malos remarked “Ah but those eyes... I suppose I should have been more wary from the start.” is likely a reference to Rex having the same gold eyes as Addam.
If you think about it, Mikhail in the base game is basically 500 years old and still living with his dad.

Lora and Jin literally invented the style of fighting that would be adopted by drivers and blades for hundreds of years afterwards. All the way to the current day with Rex and Pyra. Just cuz they were broke AF 😅

i got 100% completion inthis game 2 weeks after release. Super addicting little package of a game. Make sure you do all the sidequests if you havent already btw cuz theres a roadblock later where it makes you complete a certain number to progress the main story.

Guys the nameless wanderpon said that *massive melee mythra* (aka mythra's smash ultimate skin) is for a blade who is really into smashing and brawling. That should have been a massive clue even back then
It was originally a reference to her censored spirit design, the design that they user for her fighter model. Strangely, Pyra's spirit is uncensored while her fighter model isn't.

The biggest problems with Xenoblade is navigating on the maps the gps locations and which way you are facing and moving. Rare blades should of been unlocked by using the right combinations of boosters instead of so random. If Monolith fixes these issues for Xenoblade 3 it would have no problem being a 9 or 10 game instead of an 8 which is what I rate Xeno 2.

@@garbageman9999 I played full price RPGS shorter and more boring than Torna. And (almost) every mechanic from the main game is more polish and fun. No gacha tho... a shame xD
@@evogarciagaming6791 no gacha isn’t exactly a bad thing. Jokes aside it bogs down the gameplay so much to the point where I’d say it can ruin the game

Pyra very much better, but Mythra is great too. Honestly she needs hugs. This DLC does NOT take it easy on her.
