The people that know the language, certainly make it look easy! You can sit there for hours trying to understand some of the weirdest strings of text you've ever seen pop out of google translate.

      Especially on HP Laptops. I bet the memory module would work on another laptop. I don't know exactly why that is, but I've came across a probook diagnosed with dead mobo, but when I unplugged the secondary ram stick, it booted, then I tried to reinstall the module just because and it worked again. I think it might be contaminated ram slot pins (corroded or something) or just a bios corruption.

My respect mr Alex , more knowledge... I won’t say more money... you know why.

    I had faced the same problem with my laptop couple months ago .the funny thing is when i took it to a repair shop , he told me maybe it's an issue with the gpu .A week later , he affirmed it's a no fix . I took it to another repair shop , and after inspection he said the gpu is totally missed up, he said the guy who attempted to fix your laptop has used a lot of heat while trying to reflow the gpu .
    Weeks later , I brought a new motherboard , and when i installed the old ram , the same problem came back , than i realized that the ram was faulty .

    Greetings. Why would an individual bother to ask such a ludicrous question? The repair appears easy because of how quickly you are able to diagnose and remedy the problem. This does not happen miraculously, but because of the hard work and dedication that you put in over the years. It is the desire of every technician to fix an impaired unit as quickly as possible. Why, because the quicker you are able to fix the unit, the quicker you are going to collect your fees and move on to the next unit?

      @@eubyflask this might surprise you, but sometime that reason is redundancy. A lot of the time bypass capacitors are there in sequence of 2-3 on one line. The FCC has a lot of stipulations on circuitry, so manufacturers tend to over-engineer voltage lines to meet the demands of the world market.

    Cleaning the ram with alcohol might have saved it from being replaced. Usually when the ram contacts and chips get clogged with dust and dirt, this happens. Usually this happens very often with desktop PCs which are placed on the ground or behind a desk and collect dust easily. Also ram modules do fail when there is a short on one of the chips or caps on the module itself.

    • @paying-for-freedom
      @paying-for-freedom 3 года назад

      @@gblargg some people don’t know about the picky motherboards. They’ll see that the ram is good in slot (A). Then move that ram to slot (B) and assume the slot is bad because the computer won’t work. But they need to leave a stick of ram, that is known to be good, in (A) before using good ram in (B). But thankfully most laptop motherboards aren’t like that.

As you said how easy a repair is depends on your experience.
