Out of curiosity, why would someone press dislike on videos like these? This guy is doing something what the internet was made for, share knowledge. Praise this guy man!
become too good is also a crime for dislike;
Bots , haters , etc. I always find channels like that.
Some do just for fun even if they like what they see. Some weird "i'm cool brain damage thing" i guess, anonymity grows interesting fruit sometimes.

Excellent diagnosis without schematics always learning something new everyday. Thanks
Qqqqqqqq
brings me happiness seeing you being happy everytime you fix a customers item!
I'm just a hobbyist but these videos have helped me learn how to troubleshoot problems. Thanks man
best troubleshooting guide u can get from the official HP website: unplug ur charger and remove ur battery, try swaping RAM, if that doesn't work buy a new motherboard from this link ..
@@gastongl404 😂😂😂 lol
I love how after so many years of fixing, you're always getting this nice smile after a fix. Beautiful too see this passion. Big up to you and your team.
That grin is communicative ❤
It’s refreshing to see the satisfied expression on your face after you troubleshoot and make repairs! Keep the great content coming and thank you.
This video is a must watch. Very informative and it literally shows your how to find the fault.
Great job!! Absolutely love these videos.
Always look forward to these videos. They're helping me with my own PCB design.
I am learning so much from your channel Alex, particularly when you show how to follow the traces/pads to the fault. I have always found this quite difficult before but with your explanations I am finding it a lot easier to follow. Please keep explaining following traces/pads. Thank you for all your fantastic videos.
This type of detective job is the best content in my opinion! Finding the problem, investigating the connected areas, and concluding the exact location. Excellent job! I ordered a power injection tool a week ago and super excited to receive it -- hoping to use it to fix a couple of pokemon games!
Thank you Alex for once again showing us your troubleshooting skills in realtime. You are a master at your craft sir! Fred
The things I appreciate most about your videos is the methodology and logic you use. Logic is so rare nowadays and most people just don't seem to know how to think their way through a problem. Your videos clearly show how doing so works and why an immediate emotional response is rarely the proper way to tackle a problem. Thanks again for another great video.
You are a real inspiration for me and I'm sure everyone else who watches and enjoys your journey.
My day start this good! Watching quality content.
Your methodology and experience is awesome. I always look forward to learning from you everytime. Great video.
You sure love your job !
That big smile when all was fixed
is admirable !!
It is fascinating to watch the process of tracking down an issue. I really enjoy your content, well done!
It's fun to see you when you find the problem and fix it. BIG smile!
i like what you did today, its like teaching at school where to trace those traces going and when to used voltage injection.. hope you can do this in your future videos
Journey to the center of the board: the hidden shorted cap
The best repair Chanel around this RUclipsrs channel . God bless you and give you more
Always a pleasure to see professionals at work!
Time is money. Working smart always gets the job done. Another splendid video.
Masterful work Alex. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you work my friend. Awesome !!
Nice victory! for the cap find! Always feels like a victory when you find the short and fix something.
Keep up the good work! With a job like this it almost feels like playing detective, it does not feel like work.
Amazing and very clever diagnosis! Thanks a lot for passing your knowledge! Greetings from Greece!
Another amazing video, showing the wright way to diagnose without schematics! Well done!
Few days back my hp laptop went totally dead , no light, no display but thankfully i watched your previous videos on finding sort using voltage injection and i was able to find the faulty capacitor and bring my laptop back to life...thank you so much your video helped me save couple of bucks 😊
Great Work. Voltage injector and thermal cam saved the day.
Your job get easy by having right tools. Really awesome to see your videos and diagnose the problem within a mintues.
Look at that, better than factory!……. The Job is done! 💯💪🏻🙏🏻 Mr Alex you are truly the best!
Once again I learned something new.... I still don’t know how to inject voltage, but I’m improving with yours videos. Thanks again
Your methodology of repairing is super duper cool.
1. Check connectivity.
2. Using Thermal Cam spot any overheating components.
3. Identify the cause of error and fix it
4. Job Done
Yay, another video! Happy Sunday!
A great start to a Sunday with one of your videos !
Just found this channel yesterday, and I haven't stopped watching it! Can't wait for something of mine to break so I can try to search for the issue.
I really appreciate that OP repeats things he's surely said in earlier videos (like what type of flux he's using). So please keep that up for us noobs.
My question - is there a video that shows an example of how to setup this short circuit search? The way I understand it, is voltage is being injected somewhere and a continuity test is being done. I'm looking for a noob version of this - where to inject the voltage, what to set the multimeter to, etc?
In the meantime, I'll keep watching and cheers for this awesome channel!
Awesome work. You are genius in repairing laptop and phones. Really enjoy to watch your videos
I didn't know much about electronics repair before starting whatch this channel, know I feel a lot better. 🙏
I love your videos. Whats make me feel so glad i see your face when short is located. Amazing. Congratulations from BRAZIL
Built a PC today, was fun, now a NorthRidgeFix video! 😄
Nicely don again. My wife loves his smile when he figured it out.
Working like a detective.. trace the line and captured the culprit ... Learning something new .. ❤️❤️
Great work I love your vids. I especial love it when you get a troublesome device fixed and you can see that you are genuinely happy with getting it fixed. It reminds me of something my grandpa used to say
“you can teach a man a job and he will work for a living. Or the smart man makes something he loves his career and he will never have to work. He will go to play and get paid for it. Which do you chose?”
Great work.
Verry impressing to see how you do the search for a fault.
I am impressed by the voltage injection pin point the culprit with the help of a thermo camera. Brilliant!
Wow that's amazing, I also want to fix board level repair soon when I can afford to buy some tool. As of now I love watching you're video man I learned a lot. Love from PH❤️🇵🇭
Hello from Russia! It's nice to watch the intellectual work! You are a neat master, I like your work.
Once I wanted to buy a Spectre with charging issue. The seller said it's just a connector problem, but after seeing many videos from you, I knew it's a totally different issue. We also learn from your videos.
What a good investigation of short....well done Alex
I've learnt a lot from you, i know one day I will equip my workshop and do an excellent job just like you. "Mwenyezi Mungu akujalie baraka zake"
Always feel happy like you after repairing something by my own hand.
Another great video, indeed experience teachers us more and more , I have been watching your videos and I have seen how you have mastered the art of knowing that the same chip is the faulty one always ..big up big man learning alot from you.
That was great to watch, troubleshooting at its finest, just beautiful!!
Probably the only channel where we hit "Like" even before watching the video🙂
Need to get myself a thermal cam. Great bit of kit! Another great video!
Wallah!, i am learning a lot from you Alex, the more video you post the more skills i earn.
Warm thanks from my heart.
I want a thermal cam. And a voltage injector. And a microscope and ring light. Love these videos, brilliantly done as always. One cap, takes down whole laptop. Wonder how many electronics in landfill just because a cap has shorted…..
Bravo Alex, keep up the great work and videos 💪👌
I've Never had seen fast diagnosis like this great job 👌👍 great like always 💪
Hi there , at 09:46 , you explained because of short to ground we can inject the power to any ceramic capacitor to find the short , just i wanted to say big thankyou for your explanation, because i though that we must inject power to the specific capacitor !!!! i saw a lots of video but they didn't explain exactly how to inject the power on the mainboard .but your explanation was easy , perfect and clear. thankyou for all your explanation in your videos . Thank you for spend time for us to make a tutorial video . please make more like this video with a good and perfect explanation .
The importance of having a good quality thermal camera. Just a contribution for anyone, sometimes a short doesn't produce enough heat to be detected, in these cases you could try the Kelvin method (4 wire), search for that. Nice job as always. Peace.
Great job Alex doing a well done job 👏
Finding the cap is actual job which is shorting the other components, great work, sir 😊
Hi there , first it was perfect diagnosis without schematics, and second it was very good you explained how to read and fallow the path on the motherboard, please upload more like video , how to follow track and path to find the issues without schematics . your explanation is so easy and awesome. thnx
