When I first played the F. Jenkins to my 5 yrs. old nephew, it was a few years ago, he asked if it was a dog... Thank you Florence for making us laugh; and this one is following her steps...
I've never pissed myself so hard laughing. This woman is the BEST!!!! I really like how she claps her hands together in apparent self satisfaction at 2:19. The bra strap adjustments also add a classy touch.
I had a chorus conductor once who used to say, "Don't substitute the highest note YOU can sing for the note that's actually written on the page." He also used to say, "Never sing higher than beautiful." Sage advice for all singers.
Very beautifull! nearlly as artistic and sophisticated as our beloved goddess Florence Foster Jenkins!! Finally we've got pictures, that give us an idea of how overwhelming her concerts must have been. Thank you for posting this. Florence for ever!!!!
me encanta el violinista de detras que no puede aguantarse la risa, y me encanta la palmada que se da a ella misma la soprano cuando le sale un gorgorito ¡no se lo cree ni ella! Gracias por el video, hacia tiempo que no lloraba de la risa
When she DEF came in late - I LOOOOVE how the conductor was like...whatev, you suck anyway, let's just get this over with.... Wow. FFJ returns. Wow. I'm speechless.
This might be soprano Judy Kaye in a broadway show named "souvenirs" about the life of Florence Foster Jenkins. Kaye remarked "It's hard work to sing badly well. You could sing badly badly for a while, but you'll hurt yourself if you do it for long."
Apparently, there are a lot of people here who don't know a joke when they hear it, and/or have never heard of FloFo. She was a real "singer" back in the 30s and early 50s. She sounded approximately like this. She was THE worst, but she thought she was THE greatest, and that anyone who didn't like her singing was simply jealous of her. Unfortunately, for him, my piano teacher had to accompany her for a while back in the Stone Age. :-))
Please, see the musicians: take a look the face of the assistant of soloist of the second violins, he really cannot contain the laughter. And the concertino never watches the front. It is a pity that the cameraman died before finalizing the recording...
this is so funny a very nice orchestra and a a very large chicken and her actions are just brilliant i'll go watch anytime just have the ambulance ready
I dont know how this is singing but she is a really good immitation of the origional Florence who was born in 1868 and the only recordings of her are from 78 rpm that have been put on cd but this is a great immitation!!!!
Florence was involved in a cab accident, instead of sueing the cabby she sent him a box of cigars saying the accident had enabled her to to sing in a higher range, People used to nearly fight to get tickets to her "performances"
This isn't how Florence Foster Jenkins did this. Florence sang like the notes were being forcibly extracted from a Chihuahua all the way through. This lady actually nails parts of the song, and simply craps out on the high notes.
The real Florence thought everyone was "jealous" of her "exceptional" Voice. This one, I think may be the same for her case. But if it is, I think both are extremely delusional.
0:45 Break the tempo 0:48 It's not yet lost, the orchestra adjusted to her tempo 0:49 Kill the tune 0:56 Changes the voice part to the winds and vice-versa
Simple, she was New York socialite of independent means with the money to fund her "musical" career,so she just hired the conductor & orchestra. She did once fill the Carnegie Hall for a charity concert,so she wasn't all bad
If you don't know about her, Google "Florence Foster Jenkins", and search YT for her recordings. They're hysterical, including this one, the Queen of the Night aria.
I’m doing this song for an audition, and seeing this makes me nervous, even though I’m singing it below the octave and therefore have no chance of sounding like a chihuahua
I thought so too, but this singer hits far more notes correctly than FFJ. Better pitch, too. Her voice bespeaks a bit of training. Her theatrics are over the top, however. I wish the poster would tell us more of a background.
porqué pasan estas cosas dios mío? me encanta cómo se razca al comienzo! y la cara del de anteojos? duele escuchar ... Ah... por lo menos afinó el bSI del final... vamos mejorando... gracias maestro. Muy lindo...
I love her interpretative dance that accompanies her warbling.
I now watch this everyday when I get in from school. It no longer makes me cry with amusement, but it still cheers me up.
Well, that was hilarious. Another great thing about music: It makes you happy when it's good, and sometimes, it makes you happy when it's bad! hahaha

I love the violonist's smiling face!!!
she's gotten so much better over the years!
I didn't realize she was still singing in 2006. Have to admire her tenacity. She actually hit a couple of the top notes! Go girl!!!
five stars from me! that woman made me feel like a real opera singer.
OMG! that was the best singing i've EVER HEARD!!!! THAT WAS AMAZING! OUTSTANDING! INCREDIBLE!
A MASTER PEICE!!
She murdered that song 😳
I don't know why am I repeating this again but I find it... Breathtaking. Made my day. Ha hahahah
Proof that with enough money no one will ever be able to stop you from achieving your dreams
I'm still waiting for someone to tell me what circumstances allowed an orchestra to REHEARSE so this woman could record this aria. Anyone know?
Because she paid for it herself
Money walks...
Она была невероятно богата и расточительна
This is the most hilarious thing I've EVER seen! 5 stars!!!!
she was actually alright in the lower dynamic range
It’s ok to be wrong
Miss Jenkins, you just made up my day!
The best comedienne in History of planet Earth !!!!

queen of the nightmare
she can paralyze with her voice, sarastro has no chance against her
The visual might be the best part - her stage presence is hilarious!
Singing like Florence is an art. This is not anything like The Diva!
She must be the greatest Florence Foster Jenkinss pupil!!!
OMG, I have no words... really scary!
When she DEF came in late - I LOOOOVE how the conductor was like...whatev, you suck anyway, let's just get this over with....
Wow.
FFJ returns.
Wow.
I'm speechless.
This is the best singing I`v ever heard!! .....
Assolutamente straordinario!!!!! Pensavo che la Jenkins fosse il top...è triste vedere decadere un mito come lei.....surclassata alla grande!!!!!
Kudos to the musicians for not breaking out into fits of laughter!
As a theatre lighting designer, in such a comic performance, i would give her some warm face light.
Splendid orchestra and lovely wooden hall.
This might be soprano Judy Kaye in a broadway show named "souvenirs" about the life of Florence Foster Jenkins. Kaye remarked "It's hard work to sing badly well. You could sing badly badly for a while, but you'll hurt yourself if you do it for long."
She is bad but not as bad as Florence, She does get some of the notes right.
Is so difficult copy Florence... She is professional singer she have to learn singing from the Legend!
A few….
hey A+ for attitude and bravery!
I love her hand technique!
Some things are so bad they're good. So she gets a thumbs up - especially for keeping her bra on.
I super love this one...it never fail to burst me out from laughing!!!
Hahahaha. I was having a really bad day and then I bumped into this! I can't stop laughing.....hahahhaa. Thanks for uploading.
Baby girl is living her life and makinģ herself happy with what her money can buy for her❤ i love her 😂❤❤❤
I love the fact that she seems to think she's amazing as well! It makes it that bit extra entertaining :)
I can't believe an orchestra actually rehearsed to accompany her. They must love their job.
This woman is really following the steps of real Florence Foster Jenkins, who died on 1944. Not goose-ducks, but goose-singing...
The vocal and physical appearance remind me of Mme Edith from Allo Allo :o

This lady is not even close to the greatness that is Florence Foster Jenkins.
Oh my God O.o
She's insane, and one of the violins is laughting of her!!
Please, see the musicians: take a look the face of the assistant of soloist of the second violins, he really cannot contain the laughter. And the concertino never watches the front. It is a pity that the cameraman died before finalizing the recording...
She owned it!!!!!
the violinist in the background is smiling so hard, hahahha
this is so funny a very nice orchestra and a a very large chicken and her actions are just brilliant i'll go watch anytime just have the ambulance ready

hahah the violinist is totally laughing at her. :D
she is doing a terrific impersonation!
I'd call it more than "flat and a mess"! Hilarious. Best thing I've watched on RUclips all week.
hmm.. this is actually better than the actual FFJ
by far.
EDIT: Fairly.
WAY better
I think she's quite good. Full marks for giving her all for the perfomance. ,,,👍👍👍
Florence was involved in a cab accident, instead of sueing the cabby she sent him a box of cigars saying the accident had enabled her to to sing in a higher range,
People used to nearly fight to get tickets to her "performances"
Considering FFJ died in 1944, this ain't her.
Que vida injusta es verdad!, si yo pudiera tener una orquesta asi que me acompañe!!, ay mi Dios. Saludos
fan incondicional de esta mujer
Même après cinquante visions j'en ris encore aux larmes !!
well the beginning wasnt so bad o.o" it all started turning downward at the high parts

Florence Foster Jenkins (* 19. Juli 1868 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; † 26. November 1944 in New York)
OMG...LMAO!!!!!!!!
Wow
Now this is something speacial.
0:45 Break the tempo
0:48 It's not yet lost, the orchestra adjusted to her tempo
0:49 Kill the tune
0:56 Changes the voice part to the winds and vice-versa

I love how she just throws pitch out the window and plows ahead. No worry about the F's; they became C's or thereabouts.
She sounds ten times better than poor florence.
Jenkins rules!
It's a shame we can't hear the end! ;)
Though this is strongly reminiscent of Florence Foster Jenkins. Ms. Jenkins died in 1955. Maybe it's a (GASP!) tribute.
If you don't know about her, Google "Florence Foster Jenkins", and search YT for her recordings. They're hysterical, including this one, the Queen of the Night aria.
Only up from here (figuratively and literally)
Wonderful !
JESUS! She really feels like she is giving her best, huh?
this is beautiful
That's why the video is called Florence Foster Jenkins xD
Look her up on Wikipedia.
Ahhhhh, it sounds as though the gates of hell have been opened and the sounds of the damned are crying out in dispair...
ROFL! I think its Florance Foster Jenkins with a slight upgrade.
I am loving this 😁
those triplets!!!!!!!!!! death rolled over...
it's nice if you only listen for the first ~40 seconds
I’m doing this song for an audition, and seeing this makes me nervous, even though I’m singing it below the octave and therefore have no chance of sounding like a chihuahua
very nice.... i like
Oooouch!!!! It really hurts!!!!
That was her purpose in the first place, everyone knows it was horrible but can't stop laughing by listening this shit over and over...
Why has noone reaslised that she is a comic singer!?!?!
~insert a bloody chicken~
2:12
Goooooo Teaaaam!!!
Oh my God, please someone make her stop before Mozart comes out of his grave and kills her by his own hands!!!
that's what i have been trying to figure out!!
the new Florence Jenkins? Dear god, what has this world been coming to?
I could never play in this orchestra... Joke or not.
I'd be rolling!!!
I thought so too, but this singer hits far more notes correctly than FFJ. Better pitch, too. Her voice bespeaks a bit of training. Her theatrics are over the top, however. I wish the poster would tell us more of a background.
florence and the portsmouth symphonia is what we want !!!!!!!!!!!
porqué pasan estas cosas dios mío? me encanta cómo se razca al comienzo! y la cara del de anteojos? duele escuchar ... Ah... por lo menos afinó el bSI del final... vamos mejorando... gracias maestro. Muy lindo...
BRAVAAAAA!! More!!! please...moooooreeee!!!
Owch...it hurts...
Love this girl.
