Most valued card has to be reality chip……. The ability with necropotence and counter balance made it a back breaker of a card and stopped almost the entire game!
Fantastic game. It was the kind everyone hopes to have when you sit down at a table. Tons of interaction. No clear winner until Birgi sang, but was obviously a fun one. Well done!
Yoooo that birgi turn was awesome! So much interaction from every player at the table, copying and loop-holing various cards. Copying chord to get dualcaster to copt chord to get magus - what an awesome game.
What a game! James really kept fending everyone off a win again and again and Jordan’s board looked so sad after the Cyclonic. That really just set Drake up for the win in the end though. Just giving him the ability to cast everything with Birgi providing free R every time and getting the storm count up. Sweet win with Grinning Ignus and Birgi looping for infinite storm. Too bad no one had any counter magic left. It was a real slugfest grind of a game. Really awesome to watch!
This is probably one of the most satisfying games of magic I’ve seen. Everyone had their boards going. And I had no idea who was going to pull out ahead
Now THAT was an INCREDIBLE CEDH game. Great showing from everyone. Tons of back and forth, really awesome decklists too. More than once I had to stop and see what a card did!
Definitely very tempted to add in Heliod/Ballista, I was running it in Greasefang but it’s a two card swap that works naturally with Alela having lifelink and I particularly liked The Reality Chip too. No Serra Ascendant though?
Tivit player should have played commander turn 2 then use the two treasures to cast dauthi. That way he could dig with clues the next turn even further. Maybe a little misplay? 🤷♂️
Looking at the voting results vom Tivit I have to say Im a bit suprised that some of the players decided to give Mike treasures. My train of thought would be to all vote clue here to basically drown mike in clues, which seems like he is able to use less effective compared to treasures.
Early on the Treasures/mana wasn't as big a deal as he was quite locked down, whereas the card draw helped him out more. At points he only had 1-3 cards in hand. That was my logic anyhow
After a certain point, you rely on clues to draw you and get you back into the game. If you get a thousand treasures but no cards, you can't do anything with it. They saw that Mike was choked on cards, so they didn't want to feed him more.
He didn't, he destroyed it. That way James was forced to go find a different mana value in order to keep the Counterbalance around, which meant that there would no longer be a 4mv card to counter treasonous ogre.

I think this is one of my favorite games in a long time.
Great interactive play, everybody doing their things, and more!
I love seeing a non-Blue deck win in cEDH. It's always soooooooo satisfying. Great job, Drake!
Thank you!!
Probably my favorite game to watch. It was all over the place. And my favorite spell won the game. Grape Shot
This is probably one of the most satisfying games of magic I’ve seen. Everyone had their boards going. And I had no idea who was going to pull out ahead
I’m so glad to see more Spara! It’s my one CEDH commander, and a fun way to play the game!
I'm actually impressed someone is playing normal fair magic as Richard Garfield intended.
That last turn was WILD.
Like those hits? HUF might be playable if it always hit cards like that LMFAO
That storm deck made me happy! So happy to see such different decks go at it. a bit more refreshing to see than thoracle
Always a good time when a table dies to infinite Grapeshot
Grapes are pretty healthy!!! Great game.
Yoooooo this was one of y’all’s best games! Was so excited to see Birgi in action. Fantastic win
Okay, WHOAH. What a sweet game!
I really love a Birgi storm win
Last few episodes were reaaally good imo. Games aways felt somewhat unusual and special
I'm really glad to see Alela being played in a cEDH game. I think she has ALOT of potential.
What a crazy game! This one was really fun to watch. Fun decks and fun interaction. Keep it up boys, you’re doing gods work
OMG! Not a Thassa's Oracle // Dark Consultation win with 3 blue deck present. THANK GOD! Great video as always, :)
Now THAT was an INCREDIBLE CEDH game. Great showing from everyone. Tons of back and forth, really awesome decklists too. More than once I had to stop and see what a card did!
That game was a banger, cyc rift such a blowout but what a win line. Necro and counter balance with chip held everyone back.
Always nice to see fun esper commanders
What a fantastic game and pod!
I see reality chip, I click 💯
I love the reality chip, it’s just a balanced bolases citadel
It's just a future sight jellyfish lol
Future Sight if it was an equipment*
I use it in a shorikai deck. Definitely gas
Oh honey it isn't as balanced in fact it might be more broken in the right deck.
@@kingfuzzy2 you could say the same for citadel tho…
Loved the perfectly timed Cyc Rift
I love Alela, glad to see this deck and I will for sure be taking notes for my own cedh list!
Cheers mate! The lists on Moxfield if you want to steal anything or highlight any cards you think would work well in it!
Definitely very tempted to add in Heliod/Ballista, I was running it in Greasefang but it’s a two card swap that works naturally with Alela having lifelink and I particularly liked The Reality Chip too. No Serra Ascendant though?
That was so grindy! I loved it.
Really interesting decks in this vid!
I love seeing Cyclonic Rift backfire. Mike just gave away the game to the storm player 🤣
I wanted to play falco & this just sealed the deal for me. 😍
Love the content keep it up
Great game, lots of movement
whoooooooo first lmao. But also counterbalance/necropotance is a spicy synergy
That was such an incredible game!
Beautiful game!
Why did wall of roots resolve at 17:22? I can't see why James would let that resolve.
Allosaurus Shepherd
:D Birgi yay she told them how it should ended :0
18:00 notably birgi Mana doesn't fizzle
What a game!
Nice game!!!
Sweet game
This was a nutty battle lol
Going through the subtitles in the intro of players and found a typo that actually would make for a cool design
*Comboat* - combo combat
Thanks for the catch!
Can we talk about how Mike flips a coin?? I had to rewind it several times to see it 😂.
Necropotence, counterbalance and reality chip. Quite nasty sinergy
Love Birgi. She’s awesome
Was a good game
Mike is a monster flipping that metal coin onto his cards like that, Jesus Christ man.
It’s one of our custom coins. Made of a lightweight aluminum. They don’t damage your cards!
Nice
Were folks watching Commander Damage? Seemed like Tivit was getting in for some beats
Yep they were. Mike was spreading out the attacks.
When the ogre went unanswered after the suspend cast, I knew the game was over
Hell yeah for Tivit!
Good to see a game of competitive EDH without Thoracle, Ad Nas, or Underworld breach
Cyclonic rift what a card amiright
eat my grapes! Birgi crushed it!
Did drakes die from commander dmg??
Craaaaazy Game 💀
Best game ever.
Damn, I thought Counterbalance + Top was bad enough... introducing Reality Chip + Necro + Counterbalance... >.
Hazoret's Undying Fury remains one of my favorite pet cards and this game did not help with my problem LOL
Burger Queen FTW 🍔👑
Also using Twinflame strive and having it matter is an "achievement unlocked" for me.
Mono Red Cedh, try Zada!
Wait, wouldn't the copied chord of calling have x=0?
Only if you cast it without paying its mana cost. This one was copied, meaning it keeps all of its characteristics.
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG ah, right thanks
Wouldn't that lavinia keep Jordan from playing his mana crypt ??
Tivit player should have played commander turn 2 then use the two treasures to cast dauthi. That way he could dig with clues the next turn even further. Maybe a little misplay? 🤷♂️
LFG BIRGI!!!!

Nice game without thoracle consul (:
These are so much more interesting without Thassa's Oracle
unfortunate that this match had one deck i could legally root for.

Got any grapes?
Spoiler
Fatal grapes
Remember: if you like to damage cards start throwing metal coins over them!!
Mike is flipping one of our custom coins. They are nice and light and designed specifically to be flipped over expensive cards.
Birgi win = Like
Is it b/c of sponsorship ya'll don't use Moxfield? 🤔
Yes
I like counterbalance countering ledger shredder and not wall of roots
Pretty sure Shepard was still in play at that point so there was no point even flipping.
Allosaurus Shepherd was on the field. It couldn't be countered.
You can't counter the counter balance trigger with red elemental
It was trying to destroy Counterbalance
He didn't, he destroyed it. That way James was forced to go find a different mana value in order to keep the Counterbalance around, which meant that there would no longer be a 4mv card to counter treasonous ogre.
I'm pretty sure it was targeting the permanent, not the trigger
I know you'll never do it but would be neat to see. But Ryhs the Redeemed is my favorite. He's just fun lil commandor.
Is it me or their links for deck lists never seem to work?
