For this layout it was a few different materials to make it work. Sheet metal for the back of the structure back filled with dirt/sand. Plywood for the vertical part of the inside and shingles where the dirt met the plywood. Finally a two foot tall strip of thin pvc board over the shingle, dirt, plywood seam. Astro on top and you have a berm.
Honestly this is just a Reedy wolfpack shorty battery. 3000mAh - 30c - 2S Lipo. This Serpent RTR has no slipper so it is direct drive, that is the way it comes out of the box. IMO this is a great RTR buggy for the money.
@@GroundSwellRacing Mine came in yesterday. I found a local RC dirt track in my city. I always had RTR bashers. I couldn't find many RTR race kits in stock anywhere like this serpent kit. I didn't feel like piecing together a kit that might collect dust. How far off is it from one of the unassembled kits with the fancier part's performance wise? Judging from what I see on the serpent site, this thing can be hopped up with all kinds of factory upgrade parts. I might just build on it as I learn to drive around a track.
Holy crap dude! This is insane
Let's fill in the pool, get rid of the half pipe, lose the gazebo and build on to your bad ass track. Kudos brother that's tight. 👏
Lots of fun in the back yard. Just went full green astro with it.
Epic backyard! Half pipe, pool, track and a patio! Great video. Ty!
Awesome track
Buying one in a week or so for my b day gift can't wait to get into some tracks
That track is sick🤘🤘🤘
What did you use for structure under the bank turns?
I'm building a small backyard track here in Tampa and looking for ideas. Thanks dude.

So awesome. Thanks man.
视频中这辆RTR 运行的是有感无刷吗?
Yes the RTR Serpent in this video comes with a sensorless brushless electronic system.
Whats the topspeed?
What battery are you running? It's doesn't seem short on power with some of the airtime you are getting off that big jump.
