- Why isn’t the U.S. doing more to secure our borders? Ed Calderon spent 12 years policing the most violent drug cartels. PragerU CEO Marissa Streit questions him about his experience in Mexico, his concern over America’s open borders, and how our enemies are working with criminal organizations to destabilize the United States. Ed says we have a moral obligation to warn our citizens of imminent danger.

"The US is a responsibility not an opportunity." - Ed Calderon
Absolutely this! If anyone takes anything away from this interview it should be this. One of the most insightful and selfless quotes of all time.
Yeah…thats an ideal….but its not a reality. Conservatives need to start separating these things. Currently the US is a till to be looted. Full stop.
A true Mexican Hero and a true American! He is a perfect example of what the American dream used to be.
He is no longer a Mexican. He is now an American.
@@michaelscoggins3503heeey, don’t take him from us. We can share this good hombre.
Outstanding Interview. I was first intrigued by the Video title, but I was a little too busy to commit to over an hour during the day. I planned on watching 30 minutes and then the other 45 minutes later, ended up watching the whole video.
I was drawn in by Mr. Calderon's story, his level of information is so interesting and the way he openly shared the True story with no vague answers about what is really going on in America, in Mexico, with the Cartel and "how" politics runs more than the average person could ever imagine.
Totally worth the watching‼️
Excellent interview, need more conversations like this discussing real issues.
One of the most articulate person I’ve ever heard, with such wisdom, humbleness, & appreciation. Ed needs to author a book. As a coroners investigator I’m seeing endless deaths from the poison coming from Mexico while our current government administration is doing nothing to stop it.
Good interview. Nice to see Ed still maintain his beliefs and not trying to fit into just what a typical hardcore PragerU fan would want to hear. Talking facts about many things including the distrust from Latin America due to the US role in so much destabilization.
I *REALLY* hope Tucker Carlson and Ed sit down for a talk. Because as much as even some conservatives now say that Tucker is "too far right", he's really not.. Almost A political in some way since he wouldn't always latch onto Trump and defend him because "he's on my side". And a lot of his true views have since came to light since his departure from Fox. I think it'd be the most enlightenment Calderon podcast to date
Been following Ed for a bit now. Love what he does for this country.
Ed's buddies are all former Seals, Rangers, Delta... that tells you who he is. His Rogan podcasts are must see, guys amazing
Buddies because it's all come from him selling BS in the States. He's never worked with any of them.
None of his Mexican coworkers have revealed themselves, because they don't exist.
Great chat! Thanks for sharing! ❤
This was a great post ,thank you.
Shortly after the 25 minute mark they are discussing the coordination of, essentially, the attack on the US and who's involved and how it works - then she refers to her "repetitive question" of why isn't the US government making the border secure since our politicians have to be aware of all the things they are discussing here. She wonders and he confirms that they've hit a wall where designating the cartels as terrorists would allow the government to act against them - but doing so would automatically designate the Mexican government as backers of terrorism because the cartels so thoroughly influence the politicians. My question is - couldn't the US also designate the Mexican government as captive to the cartels - recognizing that some of them may (or are) committing acts that look like backing terrorism but allowing, pending investigation, that they may be acting under duress and have some protection under the law? Couldn't the US both go after the cartels AND allow that once the cartels are destroyed and the politicians are free to do as they will - they may not be threats?
I heard an interview I think with Mike Flynn that Trump was about to categorized the carteles as terrorist organization and was going to target and kill the cartel leaders as Trump did with some of the ialam radical leaders in the middle east. But once they talked to the Mexican goverment they decided to use the Mexican military to go to the US boarder to stop the migrants. So Trump didn't go after the cartel leaders after years of investigating and being on the verge to do so.
our government hates the cartels and WEF plans to wipe them out with the UN
Great interview and a great interviewer. Thank you both!
Having to teach your 9 year old daughter how to use a tourniquet on someone who is shot, just in case, is a good reason not to to live in North America. Society has failed when you feel the need to teach kids that.
Not true. Society has failed when they think violence is a flaw. If it doesn’t pop up, it doesn’t pop up.
What an amazing interview. Thank you
Top guest unlce Ed
I’d love to see Jordan Peterson talking to Ed Calderon, challenging world perspectives
Enjoyed this interview 👏
Great interview. Very interesting.

Buena entrevista 👍
This is beyond eye-opening for me. Wow.
Ed is a badass. His bravery and honesty are admirable.
Ed Calderon on PragerU is craaazy
Yeah, it's not great 😂 definitely makes me lose some respect/ trust in him.
This is the biblical definition of secret combinations. 17:15
Scary
34:15 is he talking about peso???
18:18 to answer her question, imagine a six pointed star....
Its actually the opposite foreign interest is causing the violence in Mexico to destabilize its economy. It has alot of natural resources other countries want, like lithium, silver.
When a country has natural resources, it will inevitably be corrupt. The least corrupt places in the world, like Singapore, Japan, South Korea, have no natural resources.
I don't think Mexican drug cartels (or any drug trafficking organisation from other countries) can ever be completely destroyed because these criminal organisations are supplying an insatiable demand from America, Europe and the rest of the "civilised" world for narcotics, not creating this demand.
The deeper and more uncomfortable question we need to ask is why is there such a never ending huge demand for illegal drugs among the populations of so many countries to begin with?
Love listening to Ed Calderon... a great human soul and definitely a closet-badass. I want him on our team when SHTF. God Bless.
They’re Catholic in name only. Catholics who take their faith serious do not worship la santa muerte. It’s cultural thing of some parts in Mexico it is Not Catholicism.
Lol go to every country forced into Catholicism and you'll find creepy off shoots. What do you expect when you force people into something? Catholicism is weird though let's be honest. Even including Italy itself there's "anti" Catholic iconography especially in southern regions.
Catholicism is not biblical regardless
How is that pal?
@@ghernandez2263It is though. All of Christianity is based on the Bible and it’s teachings. The interpretations are different with each denomination, sure, but saying it’s not biblical is like saying it’s not Christian. Catholicism is definitely a form of Christianity.
Ed on Prager huge W
I really hope to see a Tucker Carlson and Ed interview. Could be one of the biggest to date in terms what he may share cause honestly speaking Tucker is the "Joe Rogan" of the right currently
You go back to university and you become that dr. Sir.

22:47 ahaha Marxist ? There's other forms of Ideology but I guess I understand why she would ask that
23:45 most foreign policies the U.S imposes on Latin America is very damaging to one country
23:53 so glad Ed Calderon mentioned this bit of information, during the 1960s-1980s CIA had heavy involvement and spread their claw into many countries.
24:33 very good to include that context Ed Calderon
I remember during the 2000s Mexican Government leaders in the Northern states wanted to secede from the rest of Mexico. They're hardcore conservative

@ 6:06 "share" = "chair"... BUSTED!
Does anyone remember the bar scene from Inglorious Bastards where the undercover Englishman ordere 3 glasses? The German at the table caught on quickly that the imposter was English. I was undercover, infiltrating biker gangs in Calif when I blew my cover after ordering a beer. Almost got myself killed. I ordered an obscure pilsner and asked for a glass. But what removed all doubt was when I raised the glass to my lips, I stuck out my pinkie.
Ed is awesome. I'd love to see him get into US politics but he's probably far too decent to do that.
Lord howdy she right. He dern sound like he can English.
can you do one on former palestine militia about IDFs terrorism
The reason the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and western Europe are excellent foundational cultures and infrastructure, is because of the foundational ethno-racial-cultural 'genetics'. The mixing from other ethno-racial-cultural groups is a cause of the declines,… even though there are great upstanding people from those other cultures which align with the Euro-Western cultures. But, it's a matter of percentage. Good people in all cultures/ethnicities/races,…. and not so desireable people in all as well. Again, the matter of percentages.
Ed was a normal cop😂
As a former Dem, I'm disgusted by what I see happening under the Biden era versus the Trump administration. 45 Squared!
Yeah, everybody gets deleted these days, I got my channel om YT deleted because I uploaded the four gospels of the Bible. Hard to believe but true. You know, God gave man his Word, and what did man do with it... well, put his copyright on it... I wonder what the Author thinks about it.
Depending on which translation you used and whether you had the translator's permission to publish *their* work, He may consider *you* a thief.
@@amandastjohn4735 Wrong, you can not copyright God.
@@actionc8453 But you can steal from other human beings.
@@amandastjohn4735 Since the word of God belongs to averyone no one can copyright it and claim private ownership of it in anyway.
@actionc8453 So you admit that you robbed others of the justly earned income from their work and were rightly banned from RUclips because of your thievery. Good to know.
Ed Calderon is a complete liar, Baja State police drop out, with no coworkers backing his story up, barely any photos of "12 years of service" and a perfect English accent.
hes not a complete liar but theres a lot he leaves out. he can fool anyone who doesnt cross the border or travel in mx regularly but hes wrong on many aspects of mexican life
So he was a spy🤔💭
No, he’s “shindlering” the enemy
THAT'S your takeaway?! Really?

Cartels dont have power, wont get far or expand and cartel vpoilence wont happen in america. what happens in mexico cant happen in america becuase theres alot more american gangs and criminals than cartels and they could easily hurt and cripple cartel cells

PLEASE! Cartels now control most of the forest and rural areas. My family has a store in Mendota Calif and we and most of the businesses received an extortion letter in the mail. When Trump became President, almost immediately DOJ conducted a sweep and arrested 20+ MS-13 members and wrapped up multiple murders in my area. When we had a city council meeting to consider passing sanctuary status for the town, I spoke 15 minutes and successfully swayed the council to reject the resolution. Within 3 days my house was set on fire and the windows on two of our businesses were broken by a small gang.
