I love Daiki as a drifter because he is so focused and calm when he is in the driver seat. That takes a lot of practice and understanding to be that good.
Funny thing is 20 years ago when me and my friends first got our drivers licence, these motors was in vl Commodores, cheap and fast and Bullet proof 😜 I'm just surprised none of the people on here know what their talking about 😂
What a win. My only comment was it falling off boost, but diff or turbo change will surely get you closer. In saying that, I can’t believe how good it is just as it is. Big win, well done 👍
I just love the whole video. The reactions of the locals were the best. But you driving the Bogan 32 made me sad because in 10 to 15 years from now, there won't really be cheap fun drift cars to play around with anymore. Still, what you did with that motor is amazing. Love your content ♡
I think the sentiment of this project is the cure though. Sure the most popular cars and engines have become expensive, but this is where creativity shines. The car community is full of brilliant mad scientist types who are determined to find ways to keep the scene alive. ❤
@@jwlms Exactly this. Don't follow the herd, if you have ideas try them. There are mods I've done to my car that *everyone* does a certain way, and I thought "well that's dumb, why not do it this other way"? And they worked perfectly first try. Sometimes there's a reason to do things a certain way, but other times people just have herd mentality.
The reaction of the folks checking the R32 out and be mindblown by what it actually runs was so funny. Happy you got them enthusiastic and showed us here that with some add ons the RB20 is still a great platform engine to use as a drift engine. And like you mentioned, there are heaps off them so why not use them instead. Or prep one and run it as a back up engine instead. Or like you did a back up car.
you sir just lowered drifing cost for new potential players in this sport.. loved the sound it made.. and would love to see how healty the engine is now that it got ripped for a day maybe include a compression test when making a vid about costs of building this potential new monster engine.. love the vids keep it shredding!!
THE GREATEST CAR I EVER SEEN!!! Can't believe it's going this far, I originally liked you when the video was titled "r32 abandoned" until now I always watch your videos!! Thanks for making my day😊
this has been such a cool project Sam. It makes me hopeful that when I am able to drive in the next few years, a drift missile will still be affordable enough to save for
I'm so jealous you get to live out my dream. The car looks and sounds amazing. You've created a proper good ripper, loving the content as always my guy. Keep it up
This has been one of my favourite videos from you so far! From people’s reactions to the single jingle to the drifting (and that sound…), it was all fun to watch
I have been preaching RB20 love for years low compression under stressed turbo cars just take boost so well, I vote don’t go smaller turbo just shorter diff because any smaller and you will loose that crazy top end!
You guys must be so proud of that build not only seeing others reactions to it but also blowing your own expectations out of the water and daikis attitude about it is incredible what a great job you guys have done! Would definitely be interested in watching a full build breakdown of costs as I'm currently building one in an R33 here in NZ keep up the solid work boys ❤
The whole series you made around the RB20 was so nice to watch. It was nice to see you two finally test the build out on the track! The car seems to be drifting nicely, I'm looking forward to see it again and with a smaller turbo. The reactions were all priceless. Definitely a full cost breakdown would be sick!
Love all the attention this car has been getting! Watching all the other Skyline owners be SO incredibly shocked that it's a single jingle, and just how ridiculous it is! I think you're gonna be starting a new trend, and will likely start seeing more RB20's hitting the tracks! Also, watching Daiki shred the car and doing a backie before you was great!! Can't wait to see where things go with this!
Love everything about this car! In the ancient times here in NZ, the 20 was always my favourite of the RBs, it’s about those small bore pistons and the high revs. I used the ancient T3/T4 hybrid turbos as the best combination of minimal lag and enough air flow at 1bar, we didn’t have cams that aggressive though
Hell yes , the Single jingle !! The guys in Thailand boost these up and get stuck into them too . They come factory fitted to the Thai Spec Holden VL Commodores. Love the reaction of the locals too !
I liked the idea of this project from the beginning. I'm a huge fan of building crazy underdog engines. Absolutely love the way it turned out! The reaction from the Skyline guys is priceless! Hoping my Bogan32 shirt gets here soon...
I been watching your videos the past 2 hours catching up and here u are, coming in clutch with this banger. Youre doing amazing dude, look at all the work u put into this car destined for the scrapyard! Map props man. Cant wait to see her with some itasha on the side, maybe in a baby blue ?????????? Much love to you and the fam
Love it when someone gives the underdog platforms a chance to see what they can do, Everyone throwing these 20E's away will be kicking themselves, such a cool budget build, TIme will tell how reliable it is!
Thanks for developing this engine, its help me a lot in the future for my cefiro a31 In my country has a limited option to start drifting,we just have a common drift car like e36 and cefiro for limited budget of course
Absolutely love seeing how far this car has come from when it was sitting forgotten in the yard to being a ripper on the pavement! So cool to see you turn it into a budget friendly fun having machine! Also loved all the guys response to you showing them the engine😂🤙🤙
Whole video was great! Car sounds amazing. I think the coolest part was watching the reactions to the single jingle! Can’t wait to see the future content with the Bogan 32!!
My favorite thing about this drip missile is the reliability of the single single turbo Rb definitely prove everybody wrong, and definitely looking forward to see the budget breakdown for a drift missile
I love the 32!! It sounds so good!!! Took the drifting like a champ! I think I’m gonna cry the first time it gets dented or one of the bumpers gets broken or torn off!! To go from such a plain car to looking and sounding Awesome!!! Hate to see it get thrashed!
Keen for a cost breakdown as well as some alternatives that you think would be more budget friendly, the car sounds amazing and seeing the Japanese skyline owners reactions was cool
Should turn the 'Holden' into the time attack car you wanted! Something cheap to have fun with as you have the 350, chaser and your dedicated drift race cars. Food for thought
sam i love the car i love how it’s turned out love the reaction of the other skyline owners the car sounded amazing i’m glad to hear a update about the chaser as well i caint wait to see the chaser back on the drifting circuit any i love the content caint wait for the next video
This is soo Amazing How succesful the Car is. It really made me happy after watching the Whole Proccess how you made this car from Bottom to top. i watch the Whole Rb Engine Modification proccess from the Start and its really amazing that you really did made what you plan
The car sounds wild. R32s with an rb25 in NL are ridiculously expensive so maybe I should cop the rb20 model and do the same as you. Love it that you are pioneering things and giving this rare knowledge to the general public. Keep it up my guy!
Cool! I have the same carbon hood on my GTR and this is the first time I see that one on another car. My hood was installed in 2007 and its been holding up really good.
Personally I love the car, but knowing how I am I would over bill this motor. Using lots of parts from prp like rods and pistons get it all balance and blueprinted but still keeping it 2 liters use arp hardware both internally and externally cnc porting the head with larger valves. And the one last thing I would use is vibrant performance clamps. Well keep up the good work SiR. CONGRATULATIONS on your family.
RB motor sounds good, and having the same fun as others on a fraction of the budget is always cool and worth bragging about. Makes you wonder if there are other motors you could pull the same trick on
love the whole video, and i think if we see Daiki drift more on the video will be nice, because his style in drifting is so good, and i think we can learn from it either, so thank you and i hope everyone have a nice day ❤😊
ive been wanting to do this to my r33 for a while now. been following this build the best i could but i would love a complete build list. ive been looking at rb30 manifolds but i cant find them for 250 like you did. looking at like 800+
Datsun \ Nissan are really good with interchangeable parts.. Love it !! My Mate had a 32 sedan manual turbo, it's literally a 'hens tooth' how rare they are usually most are N\a autos, I'm really starting to appreciate them , worth doing a decent motor for it eventually cheers for doing it
With Daiki on the channel the past few months, I couldn't be more happy with the content. His personality is priceless!
Daiki needs a bonus…. A dono from all the subs
He sounds like a lady boy I used to know
Wouldn’t be the same without daiki anymore ❤ gidday Daiki from Australia 🇦🇺
i agree 100% great content, he needs his own merch drop 10/10 would cop
I agree
Was so cool seeing the reactions of those guys, and Daiki smiling from ear to ear, you guys have all right being proud of this build.
I love Daiki as a drifter because he is so focused and calm when he is in the driver seat. That takes a lot of practice and understanding to be that good.
Imagine Daiki behind the wheel of the pink S15. I don’t think Sammit would be able to handle Daiki taking a top podium in it.
Yes!! I 100% agree with you on this!! Thats really hard learning how to be that calm while drifting.
absolutely. He also seems to be a bit smoother and his movements are more direct.
Give it time see how long it takes abuse for
the backseat footage of Daiki drifting was intense... love to see more of Daiki's drifting skills lol
You definitely need to make a video breaking down all the costs and full parts list on the car. It would benefit a lot for the car community
Its wild that this engine really was basically always put down and now giving new life
Let’s buy them while we can and single cam swap something lol
its like a more afordable 2jz in a way if built right, it makes me want to get one for my self and build it the same as how samm has
@@VelvetLynx11 more like an SR, having in mind they have the same displacement, the rb20 having 2 more cylinders should output more torque
Funny thing is 20 years ago when me and my friends first got our drivers licence, these motors was in vl Commodores, cheap and fast and Bullet proof 😜 I'm just surprised none of the people on here know what their talking about 😂
@@knifethrower9733 no vl commadore ever came out with a rb20... they were rb30
I absolutely lost it when Daiki hit the gnarliest angle of all time and just went "Hazukashii ne". That was hilarious
He actually said "muzukashi nee" Which means its hard or not easy. But yeah his drifting was epic, good job Daiki! :D
Seeing daiki happy when you were doing laps with him made me smile im so glad the bogan 32 is preforming really well🔥
What a win. My only comment was it falling off boost, but diff or turbo change will surely get you closer. In saying that, I can’t believe how good it is just as it is. Big win, well done 👍
Favourite part?
That SOUND!!!!!😮👌❤
& Daiki backying it full lock down the hill 👌👌

Looks way better with the body kit, sounds great as well.
i love the interactions with the guys in this video and the genuine reactions when they find out its an RB20 so awesome
I love that everyone who saw the car was also stoked on it. It's also amazing that a cheaper solution is out there for people, and you proved it!
Bro, she rips! The way she sounds is amazing. From the dog gears, to the high revs and turbo spools. Truly a masterpiece!
18:25 daiki pulling a huuuge backie down the hill was the best part by far 😆 insane 😂
daiki shred like he stole it 😂
When Daiki was driving and Sam was in the back seat moving here and there it reminded me of Takumi driving and Itsuki in the back ( Intial D )
Love it when daiki in these videos his reactions so harmless and honest i can see the joy when sam let him drives his driftmissles
This is amazing ! And the reaction from the guys in the pits was so cool! Amazed on this build Sam!
Makes me want a single jingle too! And they are so cheap!! Thanks for the inspiration dude!

Daiki is so cool. Love this dude man. Love this channel even more now. His drifting is wicked as well
Absolutely agree Sam and Daiki are a great team two extremely lovely guys the sammit channel is just getting stronger and better every episode
this has been such a cool project Sam. It makes me hopeful that when I am able to drive in the next few years, a drift missile will still be affordable enough to save for

very grateful i was able to witness this from the start. amazing build
I'm so jealous you get to live out my dream. The car looks and sounds amazing. You've created a proper good ripper, loving the content as always my guy. Keep it up
Pretty sick how this turned out! Cant wait for the other cars to come back alive!!!
Wild video loved it!❤ and damn that backwards entry from Daiki was so insane to watch 🔥🤙 he is a legend!
An absolute ripper!!!!! Love the underdog capability!

Great job guys the car is amazing and it sounds so good, the smiles on your faces says it all 🔥🔥🇬🇧
The reactions make this video so cool. Sammit smashed it with this car
The Bogan is awesome. Love it when Daiki makes appearances too. Let him know we love him on the channel.

The intro 😂😂😂 love it. Bogan 32 what a ripper doing us Aussies proud Sam 👌🏻
What I learned in this video is why spend a ton of money building a 1000 horsepower car when you can just unbolt the 2 front seat brakes bolts!😂
seeing daiki do a backy over the hill was the best!!! 👌 great content man!!
