I love Daiki as a drifter because he is so focused and calm when he is in the driver seat. That takes a lot of practice and understanding to be that good.

I absolutely lost it when Daiki hit the gnarliest angle of all time and just went "Hazukashii ne". That was hilarious
He actually said "muzukashi nee" Which means its hard or not easy. But yeah his drifting was epic, good job Daiki! :D

@@VelvetLynx11 more like an SR, having in mind they have the same displacement, the rb20 having 2 more cylinders should output more torque
Funny thing is 20 years ago when me and my friends first got our drivers licence, these motors was in vl Commodores, cheap and fast and Bullet proof 😜 I'm just surprised none of the people on here know what their talking about 😂

I just love the whole video. The reactions of the locals were the best. But you driving the Bogan 32 made me sad because in 10 to 15 years from now, there won't really be cheap fun drift cars to play around with anymore. Still, what you did with that motor is amazing. Love your content ♡
I think the sentiment of this project is the cure though. Sure the most popular cars and engines have become expensive, but this is where creativity shines. The car community is full of brilliant mad scientist types who are determined to find ways to keep the scene alive. ❤
@@jwlms Exactly this. Don't follow the herd, if you have ideas try them. There are mods I've done to my car that *everyone* does a certain way, and I thought "well that's dumb, why not do it this other way"? And they worked perfectly first try. Sometimes there's a reason to do things a certain way, but other times people just have herd mentality.

you sir just lowered drifing cost for new potential players in this sport.. loved the sound it made.. and would love to see how healty the engine is now that it got ripped for a day maybe include a compression test when making a vid about costs of building this potential new monster engine.. love the vids keep it shredding!!
The reaction of the folks checking the R32 out and be mindblown by what it actually runs was so funny. Happy you got them enthusiastic and showed us here that with some add ons the RB20 is still a great platform engine to use as a drift engine. And like you mentioned, there are heaps off them so why not use them instead. Or prep one and run it as a back up engine instead. Or like you did a back up car.
this has been such a cool project Sam. It makes me hopeful that when I am able to drive in the next few years, a drift missile will still be affordable enough to save for

I think everything you mentioned at the end was right on. The car sounded great, it's a great chassis (my favorite nissan chassis) and with an engine that has be neglected, And love Daiki on the channel. He's a great camera man too and a great drifter! Can you not give away all the secrets? LOL! Definitely would love one of these in my future.

Love everything about this car! In the ancient times here in NZ, the 20 was always my favourite of the RBs, it’s about those small bore pistons and the high revs. I used the ancient T3/T4 hybrid turbos as the best combination of minimal lag and enough air flow at 1bar, we didn’t have cams that aggressive though

In my country has a limited option to start drifting,we just have a common drift car like e36 and cefiro for limited budget of course

Cool! I have the same carbon hood on my GTR and this is the first time I see that one on another car. My hood was installed in 2007 and its been holding up really good.
