Though you can do quite effectively if you just scribble on plastic first. Like what she was doing on the paper, but on a lid or palette so that it doesn't soak in a dry up.

Alexia Leach they aren’t watercolour pens , they’re aqua pens meaning they’re water based . They do fan out because fanning out doesn’t mean totally blending x

oh hey!!! i have a ton of those aqua pens! i dont use them like watercolour, i actually use them because they are so pigmented and arent very streak-y. i dont colour traditionally, im actually a mainly digital artist! i use my aqua pens to mainly highlight parts of the character or add a shape behind the character to make them pop from the page.
