Congrats on 100! Beautiful footage! Been training on the treadmill for my thru hike next year-- on google maps you can map the PCT for the incline and decline portions. However, the elements and the trail conditions you can't get your videos are perfect for commicating what it is really like out there! Great job on the 100! How much water are you carrying now? Looks like trail is great, except for that wind. Water and bull frogs to sleep by, that's cool. Should a good night for a Texas girl!
Water carries vary each day depending on what the reports tell us about distance between reliable sources. Usually 2-4 L though. I usually carry an extra Liter still, just to be safe.
@@TikiBirdTracy yeah, someone told me to carry 4 to 6litres, I carried 4, never needed more than two actually. So, five is 125oz. That's a lot. But I'm sure you will adjust as you feel fit too.
That rainbow view was amazing!!! So beautiful and the yucca flowers so gorgeous. I've been seeing so many Lupines on my hikes as well, they are like a beautiful purple carpet this year. Congratulations on the 100 and unfortunately I can't comment on the Pam question as I have never seen the Office (gasp) ;) LOL Thank you so much for sharing. Your videos make me smile.
Hope you remembered to “camel up” while you were at the cache. Between a poor sleep and your zero, you lost a little of your trail legs which is probably why you struggled some. Hang in there, it really does get easier. 🌿
