Can’t believe your daily mileage Condor, it’s fantastic. 500 beautiful miles, awesome. I remember like it was yesterday in your zoo office you telling me about your PCT plans and dedicating it to your mum, how proud she would be of you. Thanks for this great adventure, we’re with you all the way 👏🏻🙏🏻🥰
Tracy a big congratulations on that 500 mark....I am sure that felt so good to get to....That kitty cat was so beautiful Happy hiking to you....take care
Congrats on making it to 500 miles. That’s awesome! Great milestone. Poodle dog bush is no joke. Through this stretch up to the sierras def carry more water than you think you need. Water is still flowing but it’s fast drying up. I think you are wise to spend the night at hikertown to have time to get some snacks and rest the legs before you start the long slog over the aqueduct. Thanks for posting
Congratulations on 500 miles and jumping off into new territory. Last year there were many lessons. This year there are many tests. You are passing with flying colors! As the trail beckons -- Be safe; keep at it!
Congrats on 500 miles!! Nice thoughts about your mom. The trail really does work on a person’s psyche. Looking forward to the next 500 miles. Nice to have that albatross off your back.
Seems like there is a lot of puddle dog bush real close to the trail. Looked very nerve racking. 😮. Congrats on 500 miles. You are doing amazing. Keep trekking. 😊
Poodle dog bush! It’s a good first plant to show up after fires, cuz it helps keep the soil intact. Both the good and the bad is true. 🤞🏾you were able to avoid it👍
Congrats on the 500 Tracey!! Way to go! And hikertown! Must be so awesome hitting those milestones!!! You are just killin it out there and I’m just enjoying following along while you do all the work lol!
Right - I figured you were going to run out of water when you said you had only 1 3/4 liters and passed up a good water source in the desert. I know water is heavy but I get concerned every time I hear you say that. It’s always better to have more than less. HYOH, of course. I’m glad you were (barely) able to avoid the poodle dog bush - yikes! It must have been beautiful seeing those blankets of poppies in the Antelope Valley. I miss California. He’s playing the song - that’s awesome! Congrats on completing 500 miles! You worked hard for that.
I usually always have more water than I need, but this year tried to get closer to what I think I'll actually use. I learned to continue to carry more than I need in the end. 🤣
Rewatch your sunset portion. My husband, a solar phenomenon junkie, thinks you caught a solar flare/solar storm on your video. The flashing of the sun ONLY shows up on the clouds facing the sun. If it was a camera glitch, I think all the clouds would have flashed. Worth investigating more because, if you did, indeed, catch a solar flare it would be pretty rad and not super common. 😊
500! Woo Hoo! And the wildflowers (not the Poodledog Bush) and that sunset! Stunning.
Woohoo, 500 miles. What a cool and amazing journey. Keep the videos coming. Cheers!
Congratulations on 500 miles! You're doing great! Enjoy watching your PCT adventure!
Great job Girl! 500❗️👏🏻👍🏻😎

It was nerve wracking at times in that section. 💕

That's so cool 😎!!! Thank you for pointing that out...I went back and saw it.
At 8:08, Tweedy Lake where we have a cabin...
That's awesome 😎
Tami asked me to ask you what kind of app are you using for bird identification. :)
It's called "Picture Bird", orange icon.
Tell that couple that they dance like drunk people at a wedding…..joking of course.
I don't disagree with this observation 😂
