The first 131R(the old one in the video)that I bought was greased at the time of purchase.Now even the attachments are without grease.So you might be right on that one .
Yo le echo aceite lubricante de espray, sin desmontar, cada dos o tres usos y no me da más problemas. Los casquillos blancos se gastan con el uso pero son muy baratos y duran bastante. He tenido una km 100, ahora tengo la 94 y la 131r, que es más pesada pero más potente
El viejo 131 R, nunca cambié el plástico, solo un buen lubricante una vez al año. Lo uso alrededor de 6-8 semanas todos los días y conecto y desconecto la cabeza alrededor de 7-8 veces al día. Además, si solo cambia el plástico una vez y no lo hace bien, el eje largo del motor se saldrá del motor todo el tiempo. Tengo un amigo que lo hizo y siempre se enoja por eso, jaja 131 R es la máquina más potente de stihl con 1,9 caballos de fuerza. No me importa el peso, pero el ruido es una locura. Necesito parar muchas veces si trabajo en lugares donde hay oficinas o residencias, porque la gente sale y se queja, a veces incluso desde 2 árboles de distancia. De lo que tomo la recortadora eléctrica, jajajaja
@@benjaminsagau Es verdad es muy ruidosa, yo trabajo en zonas más rurales, sin protección para los oídos no se puede trabajar. Aparte de esto, la máquina va muy bien la podadora con una cadena normal corta ramas de más de 20 cms de diámetro sin problemas. Con la km94 no se puede. También desbroza maleza gruesa
You can’t go wrong when setting some extra grease,I would try to asses if the plastic gets into contact with the moving shaft and grease it accordingly (I don’t know exactly what plastic you mean).. The only downside of too much grease is the mess sometimes it makes.But I would rather have a working machine than a clean and broken one( personal opinion)
It happened for me too, it’s because you either have mounted the metal plate wrong or there is dirt stuck in between the plate and machine, and the more dirt gets there, the tighter it gets
I hope you can help sir. When I’m trimming with my km131 the engine doesn’t stay upright, it’s spins round. Feels dangerous. It’s only happen this season. Do you know what it is? My km131 is 2 yrs old and I did not grease this part like you show in this video. I hope someone can help.
There is a small pinch bolt which passes through anti vibration rubber cups on the clutch housing. The bolt simply needs tightening otherwise the head will move in relation to the shaft. The clutch housing is identifiable as the white conical shaped piece with vents which contains the centrifugal clutch, drum and drive bearing. There is no need to strip down. Simply align the head with the shaft ensuring the controls on the shaft are correctly positioned then tighten the small bolt into the captive nut with a torx 27 driver.
I have a 13 year old KM130r. I pulled mine apart the other day and it was packed full of clear grease. Must be an issue with the new ones. My KM130r won’t die. Maybe that’s the problem. I put about 75 hours a year on mine (13 years old). I had to replace the carb this year, otherwise, not a problem with it. They don’t make them like they used to.
I put around 500-600 hours on mine a year, (hedge trimning mostly, but also weed wacking) I noticed That After 3 seasons they are starting to fail to the point of not worth fixing( my personal opinion). It’s nevertheless a lot of hours for such a small engine with that amount of power. On a normal use, for a homeowner, it might be a lifetime tool, if proper Ethanol free Redymix gas is used
You are right, it’s heavy, but the power on this machine is unmatched. I had used different models from different manufacturers and this is the best for long time use.(2023 campaign I did 16 weeks of cutting every day 8 hours, it works still great) Good gasoline is the secret(Aspen 2)

Yes you can.The grease for the gearbox is for high speed/high heat usage, so it is very good to use actually.

Will check thanks now my gear box at saw blade the nut and bolt spinning can't loosen and is destroying gearbox back metal plate separating

I guess the cluch gets stuck on the engine(wild guess) and you need to get it checked there.

Superlube is the correct grease for this application.
Yes,but the Price is double compared to Stihl Multilube which is already very expensive: around 30 usd and superlube is double that where I am
