Okay, I love the fact that there is now some competition to GWater. Still, mee has brought us more than just their own water/liquid simulation addon - They also made realistic cloth and jelly cubes, I think also the infinitely breakable glass addon but I can't remember about that one.
@@nowe5704 No. He added partial reaction forces. You can push props with water, but water doesn't have any weight. It doesn't put pressure on the props it's pushing at.
gelly barely lets me spawn any liquid, while gwater2 lets me spawn 100,000 and even when i reach the max limit on gelly its still quite laggy, but with gwater 2, it doesnt lag at all
@@nowe5704 I think the creator of this vid is comparing gwater 1 and gelly. Gwater 1 is okay. Gelly is good (has potential), and gwater 2 is great. Ofc it costs money, because meetric is a person too, and wants to get some money for the thousands of hours made for gwater2.
@buketfast I am the creator of the video and i wasnt comparing the two mods gelly has its own ups and downs but generally its made for more realistic water plus gelly has been in development longer than gwater
@@nowe5704 oh sorry i didnt notice :] but yeah, no mod can be perfect, just i dont understand why you cant change the particle limit in gelly. great mod though, it does look very realistic, because i can see you use some kind of longer particle, instead of gwater's balls. hope you keep working on this mod, it has a lot of potential
What graphics card do you use because im using a 3060 with 12 gigabytes of ram but i dont get to spawn nearly as much particles as you can. Is there some kind of cap on different gpus for the particle limit?
@@nowe5704 yeah XD. i found out that i can do that when i went to the console tab but tysm! I got 2000000 particles running on my pc lol. It could handle probably over 10000000 but for some reason its really lags when i spawn them bu when i stop spawning it runs really smoothely.
WARNING: in gmod, if you spawn 100 props it would lag so hard and crash, but with this, you can add up to 1,0000 particles and wouldnt even harm your pc, so of course it will still be laggy because it uses nvidia
Can’t wait to see people really use this in mods and games, and have it affecting props, environments and characters.

thank u for bringing up competition, i know you're not the owner but its good to have something new on the everyones eyes
its not gwater if your thinking it is

1.12.2 minecraft ahh
Dont really see any purpose to both gwater and gfluid without reaction forces.
Mee recently added back the reaction forces to GWater, will be available when 0.4 comes out

1.12.2? Nice number!
i have a question for gwater not gelly and that is how do you get the gwater on starfall processor?
pls explain to me how to fix error of branch with this mod
can you upload duplicates?
if you have gwater 2 and gelly is similar to gwater 2 and its free it hurts to know
how to make so much partickles as u have?

There is some strange problems with shaders, but I honestly like it more than Gwater, this mod actually looks like a water

i have a 4090 but that shouldnt matter when it comes to the particle limit you need to type in console "gelly_change_max_particles "

yea over a million particles isnt gelly's limitation its nvidia's software
how long did it take to make this?
not my mod
"yes it does perform better than gwater and its free"
ah yes the alpha addon performs worse than the addon already in release who would have thought
gelly has always been free and gwater is paid just so meetric can get money hes barely doing any optimizations anymore , is it hard to admit that?
its alpha let people do what they want to do first

should i move from gwater to this? or would i stick with gwater? cuz this looks way more better
