Thanks. Please do a more detailed video on settings because there are so many settings on G7. The booklet on the camera usage needs an upgrade. It is not useful for beginners.
Sir Im just bought my 1st ever camera G85 and Im planning to buy an another lens. What can you recommend. I want to have a lens that can take great bokeh. Thank you sir new Subscriber here from Philippines❤
Panasonic color science is really good ? LOL, till then i was watching your video seriously. Canon has the most realistic colors and skin tones, though a micron warm. But panasonic has greenish and magenta leaning colors.
It’s subjective and a matter of taste...Canon leans too red/magenta for my liking and skin imperfections are all emphasized. Panasonic leans a touch green yes...but straight out of the camera it is much more flattering on the skintone, to my eyes atleast. You can color correct either in post, so it doesn’t really matter anyway. I know for sure I look much better shot through my G85 compared to any Canon camera I tried.
@@mgr5550 I’m a beginner and I mostly just shoot at natural and color correct if needed, nothing fancy (I might play around with Cine D and LUTs later on...I’ve seen awesome results with those). I watched videos by Potatojet and CameraConspiracies comparing side by side footage of both Canon and Panasonic, and every single time I am drawn to the Pana footage over the Canon, so I bit the bullet and bought a G85. I had a Canon t6i that I let go off without regrets, I didn’t find it as user friendly and needs more work for me to get the footage looking how I want. I’m a beginner and too lazy to get into color grading for the time being 😅 ppl like me will love Pana for sure, especially if on a budget, it’s just idiot proof. Love the app too, it makes everything 100 times easier.
Very amateur camera. The proof is on the menu selection itself 2:05 where it says Mp4 good for viewing on PC. It proves the manufacturer considers editing etc as not the primary goal. Its for people who want to shoot and then VIEW IT on their PC. That's why nowadays 15 year old girls buy this camera, to DABBLE in video. LOL Only after the GH5 and upwards does Panasonic get sightly serious prosumer level.
Lmao 😂 I disagree with that bro. I know this camera is made for amateurs but if you know what you're doing you can make it look good. Sometimes it's not all about the gear. And I truly believe this is still one of the best camera for it's pricepoint. But if you want to get more serious with video there's the GH5
@@AndroidTech > LOL, i have this camera. Regret having not bought a GH5 instead. Im in video for about 10 years now, and the usual adage of its not all about the gear is wrong. For example no matter what composition and framing skills you have you can make smooth hi res slow-mo unless you have a high fps camera. I cant give you a bicycle and say, see you on the moon. An nowadays the most creative videos are all slow-mo'd.
@@mgr5550 I shot this music video on the G7 and some people thought it was shot on a higher end camera like the GH5 ruclips.net/video/ZekRxpbjUco/видео.html

I highly recommend the Panasonic 25mm 1.7 lens. It's very sharp and geat hokeh for just under $150
so why not use 4k 30fps? vs the 24 fps? the 30fps would be better correct?
I personally like 24fps better, it gives you that Cinematic look. 30fps doesn't look Cinematic almost looks like a home video.
@@AndroidTech ehhhhhh ok ok. and exactly how does 30fp give off the home video look vs 24? sorry if im asking a lot of questions
@@smackent_9 Because 24 FPS is the closest to what our eyes see
@@raegan06 yeah i get that but most things are in 30fps no?
@@smackent_9 actually in film and movies almost everything is done with 24fps. You will probably never find a movie in 30fps
I see some g7M or g7H is there a difference between them ?
They're pretty much the same.
I got a g7 for sale 300 body only
Good deal!
You did not show any sample videos. 👎
look at my recent video, shot with it

@@fatoumfatoumeh > you shoot flat profile ? And with sharpness to zero and contrast also set to zero ?
