You could get and old town theme for the areas where you added the clock tower and market street, like an old european style rather than american suburb
The road leading to the castle should be an Old Town policy, with nice shops all the way up, it would look amazing. Like a little medieval town in the hill
Imagine being a resident and having your entire street demolished for a brand new build of something called ‘old market street’ haha irony overload in Teaport
This is something that happened in the city I lived in while studying abroad in China! They build a street of old school looking houses that are just two storeys tall and put shops in them. They were sort of stone at the bottom and wood on top. And the street they were on was strictly for pedestrians. Really gave me vibes from home because Europe has a lot of towns with old city centres that had market squares.
That ending is just magnificent, I like watching people play skylines, when I do it I just loose patience after a while and go back to squares everywhere and then I just hate the city I am building :(
The clock tower in my town is on top of the Courthouse. My 4 yr old daughter calls it a castle lol. They also use a revolving color wheel inside making the lights to the outside change color. She loves that.
Dying to see this port build like I think its slowly killing me waiting to see how you build a port, can't wait but as always loving all the cities skylines videos. Always look forward to you videos keep up the good work biffa awesome job!!!!!
Great ending! With the super duper trash recycling center, perhaps if it were connected to two roads? I can see a connection to the other main road nearby.
I normally don't care about the cinematics RUclipsrs make from their cities. It's the building part I want to see. But must admit the one at the end of this episode was in a class of it's own. Disney quality, Biffa! Love this series. All the jokes (grew up with British comedy like Monthy Pyton and Not the Nine O'clock news), the impulsiveness of it all. And most of all: Not taking yourself as bloody serious as some of the other popular builders to. Love it. Keep building. I'll watch.
Those cutscenes are a reason to come back and revisit some of your videos. Thanks for building them in. It is a pleasure to watch them. Maybe at some day there is a complete story told with cutscenes in your city. :)
I really loved the night time launch with the view! I’d rather have less shadows on screen recordings cause sometimes it’s like so dark that u can’t even see
There was a big statue of Glooscap in Nova Scotia, and when you were driving past on the highway (102) his arm sticking out looked like his "anatomy". They had to take the arm off and reposition it at a different angle.
Wow, the shot of Yugo Through launching... that's some serious cinematography there, Biffa. Like, James Cameron would put it in a movie and win an Oscar. Good chills. :-)
I would love to see some little villages or suburbs a little outside the city. They could have one special thing people could visit there, like a camping place, golfing or a monument :)
That 4 way train crossing, you should make a cloverleaf intersection out of it. In my city I have the train-about but it don;t work with all the train traffic. So I split the tracks in 2 directions at the intersections, and 1 way off ramps like highway cloverleafs. It does work for trains, but not highways :)
Man, I gotta tell you, this episode is better than you are selling it. Like, all the rewards are being collected, everything falls in the right place, everything works beautifully, but then you come up with the jewel of the crown at the end. Absolutely gorgeous. I hope this gets the views it deserves.
It might be neat if you added some of the ruined castle wall/buildings props near the castle to show where an old fortress may have stood, with the castle as it's keep. Another great episode, Biffa!
Biffa, the clock tower should be viewable from your main train station. Lord Chipperton’s castle should control a portion of the river. Love the channel
2:18 I'm pretty sure I left that comment about a month ago. Not sure if it was mine you read but glad to know it's simplified things a lot with your networks.
I always put the old market, the clock tower and the Chirpwick castle relatively close to each other in a district and then change the district building style to European. It looks amazing! With some creativity you can make the area surrounding the clock tower look like Venice.
I'd rotate the castle by 180 degrees to have the windowed elevation looking out over the city, the lords of the time wouldn't be able to watch over their lands from every room in the castle otherwise! Great work on your videos, they're always good to watch with a nice cup of M&S extra strong tea!
Really I don’t know how much time you need to prepare and present a 35 minutes video... but I am sure that isn’t enough for me and probably for many others :) Continue the great work you do 👍🏻
The castle is modeled of of Neuschwanstein Castle. If you look at how that is placed, then you need to rotate your castle around 180 degrees, so the entrance is in the back and the flat facade with all the windows and towers faces the city so the residents have the best view. Right now most of the windows face towards the empty hills.
After a hard day at work there's nothing better than watching (or even just listening) to a Biffa video. Surprised you're not doing voice overs for PG Tips or Twinings yet mate!!!!!
Well done! I had to pause this one a couple of times I was laughing so hard, and I had a bit of a rough day so thank you for cheering me up. I would love if you kind find a place for that arch monument, I can't remember the actual name of it, but it's one of the lower level monuments, and it really looks nice, especially next to a river. Should we count the "Hugo There"s from when you're talking about the name of the rockets for Biffism Bingo? Keep up the great work Biffa! :D
I like how in order to light the brazier near the castle you have to engage in a bit of rock climbing in order to get up and down the "walking" path. Lord Chirpwick was not a merciful lord
When trees are appearing because you turned collision off, you dont have to move the roads, just move a tree when collision is back on and the trees will disappear. Like your videos, keep them coming. Greetings from the Netherlands.
I like how you have a space launching center, but not a commercial airport😬😄 Plus it would be nice if you started expanding the city, with normal RCI needs😉
Space elevator is best placed on a low capacity long road, promotes walking, build a park so they can walk a shorter distance and have a mass transit hub there, train, monorail, subway, tram. You'll get so many people using your mass transit and a park turning a profit over $12 000
Would love to see a waterfall coming from the castle. Also maybe a cable car to allow the oldies to get up the hill, Mavis is probably still in shock after her colossus encounter and can’t walk!
I think the six-lane road that was extended in today's episode was intended to be a faster road, like a highway for cutting through the city, so maybe should have more highway-like exits attached to it and increase the speed of the road.
I think a funicular or teleferic (hope these names make sense, I had to look up the English words for them in the dictionary) to the castle would be cool and provide extra transport there for the tourists. It's quite common to have something like that to get up to mountain top or hillside castles here in Germany.
Hey Biffa! Excellent video, I missed the setting up of the decorations around the clock tower but otherwise, I loved the video. Thank you for putting so much effort into the editing! Especially that last shot from the castle with the rocket! Great job 👍🏻
Go for the Edan Business Park. That would be interesting. Also, can you expand your city on the mountain with some small roads and you can use cable car to get people to there from the city. Also, it would be nice to use Taxi's because no one uses them in their cities. Love your vids! Keep it up!
Thanks Biffa! Now I know why I have such traffic problems on the road under my arch and the roundabout just before it. I am getting a lot of people who get off the cruise ships and drive through my city, around the roundabout, and through the arch instead of using all the nearby mass transit options at the harbor. I think I’ll delete my arch or relocate it and see what happens. Great video today, the ending was great. The rocket just needs a dedicated space lane to avoid the cargo planes 😁 👽
I'd like to see the area around tha castle changed a little, if the road from the city could take the more gentle approach to the left that would look better and then the area that currently has the road could have a cable car 🚡 that'd look nice. Maybe even a small residential village (with a tad of commercial) using a mediaeval style theme it'd really make that it look extra special.
I think you should do the space elevator first. However, if you want to do one of the others like the medical centre or the Hadron collider, you could turn them off so that they don't make all your other buildings useless.
Trust me, stick around to the end of the video for something special. Enjoy:-)
Hello
Doc brown will be shouting marty mcfly next pal. Keep the lightning away otherwise you might go back to the future
Amazing end scene!
Hey biffa, what are the workshop links for your bike lane roads?
that was an awesome suprise!
You could get and old town theme for the areas where you added the clock tower and market street, like an old european style rather than american suburb
You're damn right !
Imagine living in an american suburb and someone comes along and builds a big 'ol clocktower nextdoor.
That is what I thought also. A huge Tea Port Old Town. Like an old merchant town at the riverside...
yeah, it's kinda strange to have this old market street and a clocktower in the middle of the suburbs!
@@AdamEmond in old American Town there are old clock towers not in the same style as Europeans but they're tend to be integrated into govt buildings.
When I was a kid we had Saturday morning cartoons and cereal. Now it's Saturday morning Biffa and Tea.
Yorkshire Gold I hope?
Lol. Saturday Morning Biffa and tokes for me ✌🏻
arizona iced tea mixed with coke and vodka
Typical: instead of raising taxes even tough it would be ok you think about cutting spendings for the education.. pretty realistic I have to say
i am sure his military didnt get a budget cut
@@burns9281 Lolol. There’s no actual “military” budget in cities. That’s what so great about it
@@dnmitch So the statement is true. He didn't cut their budget.
@@kaltaron1284 haha thank you. i love being proven right. it happens so seldomly. :(
Nah, a real politician would both raise taxes and cut spending for education.
When you have 1% more traffic flow than biffa:
*My life has been completed*
Next rocket name should be Yougiv Way ;)
That would be Yugo Throu’s and Hugo There’s Serbian cousin
👏👏👏
@@antonallen8972 like the stig with 1000 cousins
the castle needs a street leading halfway up the mountain, a big parking lot and some touristy shops mixed with historic buildings imo
Would be more like Mont-Saint-Michel. That's an interesting idea ! :)
I was kind of thinking the same thing....needs gift shops to bilk all the tourists out of their tea leaves
Remember, with great monuments comes great monumental achievements.
And great monumental responsibility... 😆
I thought it is the other way around... but who am I to tell... :)
That day on the ferry, Mavis had the thrill of her life. She's been looking for a man in a loincloth ever since....
🤣
George of the Jungle? XD
Definitely the Eden project if you're going to do another, but I'd love to see you build that port area!
Perfect ending!
The road leading to the castle should be an Old Town policy, with nice shops all the way up, it would look amazing. Like a little medieval town in the hill
That end shot was BRILLIANT! XD
👍😁
Is Lord Chirpwick a friend of Earl and Lady Grey?
I'd like to see the Space Elevator because I love when you work with mass transit.
🤣
It's funnier because he replaced the oldest buildings in the build for it. It was already the old market zone lol
Ah yes, that satisfaction of waking up late, eating breakfast and discovering a new Biffa video is online. Excellent.
I love watching your playthroughs of cities, I was however wondering if we could get a view of Teaport's land values?
That ending is just magnificent, I like watching people play skylines, when I do it I just loose patience after a while and go back to squares everywhere and then I just hate the city I am building :(
"The guy that sits on Collosal's loin cloth." That'll look great on the old resumé!
Put a cable car stop near the castle
And a parking lot! :)
Definitely
The clock tower in my town is on top of the Courthouse. My 4 yr old daughter calls it a castle lol. They also use a revolving color wheel inside making the lights to the outside change color. She loves that.
"on the right you have... Oh gosh" 😂 keep up the good work!
That end was spectacular. You do need the space elevator now ☺️
a nature park would go well with the castle.
Tfw you discover tthis playthru randomly and binge watch it from the beginning for a week... then reach the newest episode and have to wait
I think that instead of another "monument" video it would be actually good to see the Teaport harbor with its own fish industry and market 🚢🐟💕
I'd love to see a huge fishing industry.
Agree
I never realized how similar to Neuschwanstein the Castle of Lord Chripwick is
Dying to see this port build like I think its slowly killing me waiting to see how you build a port, can't wait but as always loving all the cities skylines videos. Always look forward to you videos keep up the good work biffa awesome job!!!!!
I always use that castle to make a “Disneyland” in my city!
I would have had the castle the other way around: Gate facing the mountain and back facing the city. Seems like a better fit.
I agree - the 'back' of a castle is usually on the cliff edge. Looks a bit odd with the road snaking round it to put the entrance on that side.
That end shot was pretty freaking spectacular.
Love the money shot at the end!!
I'm struggling to manage the all the tourists coming and going from my space elevator so I'd like to see that
Great ending!

Maybe a little cargo train stop near your new recycling facility? Seems like it might use it and the connection would be so easy!
Those cutscenes are a reason to come back and revisit some of your videos. Thanks for building them in. It is a pleasure to watch them.
Maybe at some day there is a complete story told with cutscenes in your city. :)
Chirpwick's castle would a great place to take advantage of 'Quay anarchy', and install some retaining walls. imo.
that castle view rocket launch was simply epic, well done on the creativity there, simply brilliant.
I really loved the night time launch with the view!
I’d rather have less shadows on screen recordings cause sometimes it’s like so dark that u can’t even see
Wow! The production quality was amazing for this video!!! Such a deserved subscription
There was a big statue of Glooscap in Nova Scotia, and when you were driving past on the highway (102) his arm sticking out looked like his "anatomy". They had to take the arm off and reposition it at a different angle.
Holy Cow! I didn't realize that the clock on the Clock Tower actually changes time with the world. So many things I keep learning about this game.

That last shot was totally worth waiting for! Gorgeous.
Normally I watch in the morning on the west coast, but now it’s evening and I’m watching. Doesn’t make a difference honestly, still an amazing video.
This seems to be the first great climax of Teaport. That view with the rocket launch was AMAZING!!!
Thanks 😊
I like how in order to light the brazier near the castle you have to engage in a bit of rock climbing in order to get up and down the "walking" path. Lord Chirpwick was not a merciful lord
The paths around the back of the new castle have some really crazy hills intersecting it! Not sure if you noticed Biffa!

I reckon a cable car up to the castle would be absolutely perfect
Loving Teaport. Also loving Biffshireton and the other oldies.
I like how you have a space launching center, but not a commercial airport😬😄

Harbor area, then space elevator. Effectively a episode of mass transit.
Also, plane pilots at the very end "Evasive maneuvers!"
Space elevator is best placed on a low capacity long road, promotes walking, build a park so they can walk a shorter distance and have a mass transit hub there, train, monorail, subway, tram. You'll get so many people using your mass transit and a park turning a profit over $12 000

Carina S Agree ! And make the path more beautiful to get there. With more rocks and trees and the right high to each side of this path.
It's called a cable car
It’s the year 2100, the city has a space program and futuristic tech but the citizens of Tea Town still haven’t paved their roads
They love it 😁
Hey Biffa! Excellent video, I missed the setting up of the decorations around the clock tower but otherwise, I loved the video.
Thank you for putting so much effort into the editing! Especially that last shot from the castle with the rocket!
Great job 👍🏻
Needs some kind of Funicular up the castle - Salzburg esque..... or Hastings! Think there is one on the Workshop!
Next episode. Biffa realises the arch is a tourist attraction and causes traffic problems.
Go for the Edan Business Park. That would be interesting. Also, can you expand your city on the mountain with some small roads and you can use cable car to get people to there from the city. Also, it would be nice to use Taxi's because no one uses them in their cities. Love your vids! Keep it up!
I was the home key person and I just woke up my girlfriend stupidly fan girl squealing lol
We need a mod so we can vary the colors of the lights on certain buildings. A merry Christmas to you and the little Biffas.
5:19 The pedestrian bridge does look tall enough but you probably needed to elevate it on the far side due to the sloping.
Thanks Biffa! Now I know why I have such traffic problems on the road under my arch and the roundabout just before it. I distinctly remember leaning about McCarthyism and the purples under the beds which hunts!
I would love to see you spend a whole episode on building a huge massive fancy International Airport linked to all the transport too
Your sea fortress, colossus and floating restaurant would look better in you "planned" seaport area.
The ending was PERFECTION! Keep it coming we need more.

Congratulations on your cinematic accomplishment! I find this day in Biffa legion iconical.

The city look spectacular at night! Plus the rocket launch sweetened the deal!
31:18 that's one steep path to the lookout xD
I like how the planes in the air look like they're starting to panic when the rocket is coming towards them. Quick dodge!
