Big steering wheel control tiny RC car | The H Lab

I made this huge steering wheel system to control my tiny RC car collection. The steering wheel used in this video is a real one. So it have same size as the wheel on cars. This system connect with the tiny car via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) same as how it works with the Android phone.
The boards: ESP - WROOM 32
Potentiometer: 1K Ohm
Bearing: 6201Rs (12x32x10 mm)

A lot of questions;
1. Is that the same bluetooth controlled car using attiny85?
2. How the connection works? Is it connected to smartphone then to car via bluetooth or you make new stand alone bluetooth transmitter?

1. Yes. The same car. Instead of send control signal from Android phone, I now use an ESP WROOM 32 with built-in BLE to send it.
2. No phone needed. Esp 32 now is my new transmitter
