Great run from both, but Chap's "Its not about speed, its about grace" was chef kiss.
I LOVE how Chap is just so chill! His laid back, “I’m just gonna have fun and shoot what I like” attitude is awesome! No rush, no fuss or care where he places. And no complaining even when there is a malfunction! It just is what it is. LOL
I am quite certain, Chap is an Elbonian sympathizer and Bloke is a competition junkie....
Thank you for introducing us to those firearms and congratulations on that blisteringly fast DIV-3 CZ600 submission. I particularly love that Egyptian Rolling Block - beautiful rifle. I wouldn't mind knowing a bit more about that Swiss Martini. The barrel on that thing was massive!
Thanks for getting me to get out and shoot Cabin Fever, I don't think I can link rumble to a YT post but I did shoot Div 2 yesterday
Chap: Cool on the Range.
Bloke: Excuse on the Range 😉😁.
I now have more excuses to add to my own long list 😉🤣.
I do love the Bubba Schuetzen rifle.
Fantastic seeing the two of you in all divisions i new you would blast me out of the water but was not expecting you to half my times and then still come back and do a humiliation run! Very inspirational thank you
That is a sweet range, gentlemen. I really renjoyed watching this. And I have a new-found appreciation for early, single shot long guns and the people that used them.
The MAS36 was my favorite. All of them were cool.
The chap should stick to rifles produced before 1900. I've never a seen a man so at peace as he is single loading.
You're not wrong 😅
Is Rob at @Britishmuzzleloaders a long lost brother?
There should be extra points for the oddest and most obscure rifles and calibres 😁
The Chappie would have a very unfair advantage......
Good job chappie and mikey Love the weather front moving in from the west. Clouds ⛅️
The MAS36 action looked smooth, as did the loading with stripper clips. Well done both.
It is remarkably smooth. The only irritating thing is that the stripper clips don’t fall/flip out unless you force the bolt and wreck them.
@@thebotrchap I guess there was no expectation that the soldiers would need them again.
@@pghgb5572Yup, made from soft aluminum.
Well done the lads ,that was really enjoyable and to those who think it looks simple ,easy ,it ain't!grand stuff😊
"Its not about speed, its about grace" lol truer words have not been spoken. Got to be comfortable, got to enjoy the experience.
The acorn got me 😂😂
Chap has the nicest Egyptian rolling block I've seen. Very cool
I have a full vid on it on the channel if you want to know more 😊
👍 Rolling block & AR10 in one vid!👍
Well done lads, a very enjoyable video.
Those AR-10 prongs have a nice ringing sound.
I get the feeling that Bloke might be mildly competitive.
We all got one of those friends. LOL Chap’s just chillin along shooting cool shit for the sake of shooting. LOL
Moi? Never 😆
was that a 'ready, standby, acorn!'? 🤣
Yes, it may have been teasingly topical 😇
@@BlokeontheRangeisn't that just a police thing?
@@BlokeontheRange should have done a few "tactical rolls"
Watch out for those acorns! They’re NUTS!!
Every time someone pulls the trigger on a Sudanese ar10 I expect a pile of extra parts to be added to the market. Perhaps all the ones that were going to have catastrophic disassembly have already done so.
I have never seen it happen but I have more exploded Sudanese bolts and uppers that I have ever seen intact rifles.
Great fun
I wonder if a scout scope would work better with loading that martini
Oh certainly
"Acorn!" 🤣
Was hoping Bloke would find an AR for every class.
I could have shot the straight pull in division 3 indeed! 😅
Chap is the last bolt-action hero.
Mike, have you seen the new Henry Supreme levergun that takes STANAG mags?
I've seen it, yes! I'm actually more interested in the Fightlight and the other one that are completely modern styled though.
@@BlokeontheRange I am too, but they are still in beta, and the Henry is theoretically available next month...
RIP finger, but good show nonetheless
Very nice range facility. Nothing that good here, that the State would pay for, Dammit! The Swiss have some priorities right!
Acorn!
Right, so if it's 100 meters away why is it an 8 inch target?
Cos mixing units is fun. There's a reason for it though, when the competition was started, 8" was a standard target used in Canada
Isn't Chap rather tactical for a Swiss range?
It’s just a plain green jacket 🤷🏻♂️
Possibly the use of the plate bags and placard to hold your mags?
No Frankenrifle?
Nope, I've still not fixed the butt after Lynx and the CZ 600 Trail outperforms it on the handling / ergonomics front.
LOP on the HS is a bit on the slender man side. Can you ditch that plastic butt plate and riser?
LOP is adjustable and set up for my anatomy.
A heavier AR would have been more stable. The WWSD rifle is great for carry but is too light for stable shooting..I prefer an open sights up to a 100 yards which is where the AK and Wich lever dominate..You did pretty good for a Brit :) Nice to see there are still some original Armatlites out in the world..Thanks for sharing..
Thanks. To be honest I don't think I'd have done better with the 20" HBAR, the thing is that it's always a compromise with that kind of shooting, and I prefer lighter. Heavy gets tiring really, really quickly and isn't necessarily more stable as a result. But with the LPVO and Triggercam on it, the WWSD not all as light as it is when I shoot SRA / Brutality with it.
Too bad you can't use a sling, which is the way we shoot when hunting in Montana..It is amazingly stable for those standing long shots..@@BlokeontheRange
You can use a sling in the "hasty sling" configuration but it's not actually supportive when standing unsupported, and it's a pain to deal with under this level of time pressure in the other positions, the time you spend faffing with it isn't made up for with the increased stability. And I grew up sling-dependent due to the type of shooting I was doing as a teenager so used to use a sling all the time whether it really made sense or not.
Not the way I did it..Put your arm through it, rap once, put elbow into stomach and presto, it is a tight, stable shooting platform..@@BlokeontheRange
