Eating at McDonald's World Headquarters in Chicago, IL!

- One of the world's most recognizable brands just moved their world headquarters to Chicago's trendy and experimental West Loop neighborhood. I heard they had a restaurant that serves McDonald's menu items from across the world so I wanted to check it out and see it for myself!

Gosh, I LOVE McDonald's food!!!! I remember having McDonald's back in the 90's, it was so much fun. I wish they would bring back Ronald! I have always loved McDonald's food, and I always will, it just tastes so good. Although secretly I do like a Burger King occasionally he he!!!
Wait wait wait wait wait. Now, as a New Zealander, one thing we HATE is getting confused as Australians (we secretly love them really) but I did have to laugh with the Australian burger, that you called Canadian, and then used the New Zealand flag in the picture 😂
I haven't been to Chicago since McDonald's moved their headquarters. I must make a visit just for that.
I was really hoping they'd have the Maharaja Mac. I've wanted to try it even since I watched the movie Outsourced.
if McDonald's kept that classic 50's American look and maintained that 'experience' they initially wanted their customers to have it would be soo much better

That 50s American quality only existed because there were only so many McDonalds at the time. As the Chain grew it had to cut back on costs and menu items so that the McDonalds experience would stay consistent throughout the US. Long story short, no company that expands as much as McDonalds did can maintain small business quality products.

Yep they paid her like $30 mil for her studio tore it down for the land....was reading they were going to dedicate a space to honor her somewhere in the building

Zainal Muzaki you’d be surprised, this restaurant at world HQ is priced the same as other restaurants in the US. But compared to the rest of the world, yes it’s expensive.

I'm at this restaurant as I'm writing this and I'm disappointed 😞 they only had 3 international items. 1- big Mac from Finland with bacon. Fries from Canada (regular fries from what I saw, mcflurry from Japan. May 9th, 2022.

Last week I waited 15 minutes for 2 burgers at Mc Donalds. The new ordering system is bad. Should be improved. Please always prepare enough burgers. Now I am no longer satisfied with the service!

Closing corporate headquarters in April 2023. So how many layoffs before they re-open?
Considering it's in the violent Democrat city of Chicago, lay them off online at home in case employees riot in person, they can have credentials revoked remotely to keep them out of HQ. Seems they do not trust their own.

It’s not 2018 anymore prices go up. And people to picky when they paying so cheap and expect 5 star food and everything hot. Everyone orders 50$ worth of food and take there time at speakers and customers are constantly rushing employees. Plus they don’t get enough staff.
