Yes! Yes! Thank you for going to my favorite part of TN! I remember going to Silver Dollar City which is now Dollywood in the 70's and loving Blazing Fury. I also spent about an hour or more hanging out watching the blacksmith as a kid (it was the 70's, kids could just wander around without a parent worrying). Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting me see places I can no longer get to anymore.
It blows me away how people give Adam crap for going to the places where HE wants to go on HIS channel. So he's been here before. So what? It's HIS life! I hope he stays here for TWO weeks and then goes back to Orlando.
Hey Adam Me and the wife just got back from Gatlinburg and most shop owners in the business district all would comment that we are still here and would comment that a lot of people think Gatlinburg was wiped off the map, I gotta tell you I was shocked how most everything on the main stretch was untouched, It would help these great wonderful people and the community to show Gatlinburg is still there and great as ever I also noticed the forest is healing very well. I love Gatlinburg and the people who make up this community! We love this place so much we are looking at property to move here very soon!! I would like to make one suggestion to you on a place you must travel and you are very near the entrance to the most scenic roadway I have ever traveled, It is the Blue Ridge Parkway, It starts In Cherokee NC and ends in Virginia, I believe it is over 460miles we did the entire trip on the Parkway and it was fantastic, A lot of things to see when it comes to nature.
I think you should film those locations. Though the fire was a horrendous event it is now part of that areas history, I think it would be different if you were to do it directly after the fire swept through there while the area was still trying to survey the damage. AnyWOO another great upload!
I have relatives in the area who told me they caught the perps who set the fires, but they clamped a lid on who they were. 13 people dead, thousands of acres.
I was so excited when I saw where u were, because I know IF you choose to touch on the devastation in that area, you will do it in a manner that will completely respectful, infomative and from the heart. I agree. I feel like if Adam is going to see the fire damage, then why not document it? It could be educational. And, since many of his viewers are likely from Florida (which under risk for severe fires), it would be a sobering reminder to listen to warnings about not lighting flames in the open.

While I am not the kind that likes to gawk at tragedy, the fires even made the news over here in Germany. What I would like to see now, is how things have improved since then.... has the grass started growing back, is there rebuilding.... dwell on the positives, not the negatives. I highly respected you when you chose not to go immediately after the fire, and will accept and respect, whatever decision you make now. Just stay safe in the weather, Adam.
Hey Adam, the Carpet Bagger did a great job showing the extent of the damage a few months ago. I am sure some of that has already been cleared and restoration work is under way. So perhaps you don't need to cover it in a separate vlog. As you go around and see some things maybe include a small snipet of what it was and then move on to the fun things. Just an idea. Have to say when I first saw the prices of Admission at Dollywood I was shocked. However it looks a really good place. Have a great time at Gatlingburg and very interested now in what might of happened................ happy travels..............

No, but a lot of what I see here is people whining. Whining about not getting what you want doesn't really strike me as a very adult or constructive course of action. If you want Adam to do something, suggest it to him. Don't whine and complain about what he has already decided to do.

Many people love those mountains and I'm sure they would appreciate seeing it. We went in June then went again in December and it was very hard to see the changes. But it really put into prospective how fast things can change. As we drove along we thought about the many people it affected. We went so soon after the fire to give to the businesses. We have gone for many years and will go for many years to come. We enjoy your travels. Thank you for letting us come along. Hope to see you at Kings Island this summer.

I would like to see both the untouched and damaged areas. My family and I used to vacation in Gatlinburg every summer, so it's a place near and dear to me. Any videos about any of it are well worth a watch for me. I was so stoked at the beginning of this video when you came around the corner and I realized where you were headed!!
Awesome vlog as always. Your last round of videos from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg made me want to take my family out on vacation there. I would say stick to the undamaged parts of the area. Hey Adam ive been following you for years now watched every vid , seen the progression and many changes u have done, most great ,one or two not as . But I do miss u not living in cali and all the movie locations etc. was excited when u decided to go on the road and have seen lots of different places. But ive noticed u stay kinda in the same places over and over ,Tennessee,chicago,georgia etc . was hoping u being on the move would hit more the central states, or more north Dakotas, etc. Even arizone,new mexico etc. Maybe its taking time to get comfortable hitting new areas ,bit hoping u head to different places. looking forward to videos thanks

I don't wanna be that guy. But I kinda agree with everyone else. Gotta leave this area alone for awhile man. Plan to see other locations you never been to. The country is yours. Explore it and see new things!
Dollywood is my favorite park, over WDW. The people working there are so genuine and really make you feel like they are glad you came. Like you came to there house for Sunday dinner. And that is a part of my past that is fading quickly in this day and time.
It's been a few years since he last made it north, and it wasn't Maine-North, so much as NY/NJ/PA-North and even then he was pretty much just passing through. (I remember a Centralia video and a Romero filming locations video.) But no extensive time spent in one general area like he spent in TX earlier this year. Part of the problem is that he can only travel northwards during the warm months, and there's too much other stuff also competing for his attention during that period. Personally, I'd love to see him spend some time in the Hershey region; I think there's s lot of stuff there and in the surrounding counties he'd appreciate. But he'll get there when he gets there.
Adam, I believe if anyone in this world could tell the Gatlinburg wildfire story with the respect and dignity her people deserves, it would be you. I would love it if you did VLOG it, but if you don't I completely understand. My family is from East Tennessee and while it's been a few years since we've been able to visit, I love that you are taking us there! Thank you for doing what you do!!!
I love your videos but you have such a great opportunity and the ability to pretty much go anywhere you want. Stop going to the same places over and over again. there's so much United States and places to go.
i wish hed go all over too but no hell wind up in indiana in a month or 2 then in california in about 3 or 4 months then back in florida around thanksgiving and in between be in texas and all the other spots he usually goes to

I would've went right up the east through NC, Virginia, DC, new York, and Maine. just go right up the east and loop around. I don't wanna see like I'm complaining but we've seen Tennessee so many times and Atlanta and Florida. If I had his opportunity I would never see the same place twice for as long as I was able

OUTSTANDING... Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area is my favorite place in the south. Love watching your videos from this area. My family and I were there a few weeks ago and did some touring of the fire damaged areas. I think you should absolutely document and film some of the locations for future reference and just to let some people that have not to got see the damage get to see as well. HAVE FUN... Look foward to watching your future vlogs.
I think you should show it. Alot of people would want to see the rebirth of the area. Maybe start the video low with the areas still damaged than shift into the rebuilding going on, than finish it on a positive note about the area. It is part of the areas history and the towns came together and pulled through.
Joseph Heaney, we mainly watch Adam for his uplifting vlogs but as he's back in one of his favourite places after the awful fire...it just seems a bit strange not to mention/show any of it....just like it didn't happen. You got to take the good with the bad, thats life...to go back after what happened & focus on only the good seems not quite right. I love Adam, I watch his vlogs every day. He obviously was shocked & devestated with what happened & probably just wants us to see that thankfully, alot of Gatlinburg still stands & is up & running. After all I have said here ....I respect Adam's decision, whether he does or doesn't , I love him just the same, he's just a great, genuine guy we all love so much & I look forward to his daily vlogs.

G K I know right. and he spends a lot of money eating out and at coffee shops and buying single bottles of water and sodas. he can refill gallons for 27 cents. buy 2 litters for cheaper than a single serving. make his own coffee and food in his rv. and its 2-3 times more to eat in a park than at a restaurant.
Yep, the other day he said he has never cooked in the rv even once. He is an able bodied adult man and he accepts donations from strangers so that he can be on a permanent vacation at amusement parks? Cracks me up when he talks about how he likes to "Live Simply"...odd doesn't seem humble to me.

Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge has always been a favorite vacation spot for our family. We were heartbroken to hear and see the tragedy in that area. I think it's important to keep things like this in the forefront of people's minds. Even though this happened a while ago, surely the effects are still felt in the community and of course, the families impacted. I'm sure prayers and support would still be appreciated.

Adam if you ever get married, I could see it happening here in that cute little church or on the grounds of Disney. This park is rustic so your return to this park over and over tells the tale of your favorite ambiance. Your wonder and thrill of theme parks is refreshing. I was up after the fires and burst into tears the second I saw Gatlinburg. The thing is, so much is being rebuilt so quickly, so showing the rebirth of Gatlinburg may be a great thing. I am going back up again soon and I bet it will be as vibrant as it was before the fires and since the last time I was there in December.
I love that area, it is one of my favorite places. We agree, that is my favorite ride at Dollywood, as well. Enjoy your stay, looking forward to all the great vlogs from there.
Nice vlog Adam! There's somewhat of a stigma associated with Dollywood that is undeserved. It's clean, accessible, good shade, the food is decent and affordable, the rides are awesome, and the staff are generally kind and helpful locals. The Lightning Rod and Wild Eagle are two really cool coasters there. The cars for the kids are way better than the Tomorrowland Speedway at Disney World because they are electric so you're not breathing in exhaust. If you live within a few hours drive like we do a nice thing to do is to drive up and enter the park after 3pm. You can re-use the same ticket for the next day. If I had to cite one fault it is that the smoking sections are poorly laid out so you're frequently walking through smoke.

I would like to see both the untouched and damaged areas. My family and I used to vacation in Gatlinburg every summer, so it's a place near and dear to me. Any videos about any of it are well worth a watch for me. I was so stoked at the beginning of this video when you came around the corner and I realized where you were headed!!
Awesome vlog as always. Your last round of videos from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg made me want to take my family out on vacation there. I would say stick to the undamaged parts of the area. Hey Adam ive been following you for years now watched every vid , seen the progression and many changes u have done, most great ,one or two not as . But I do miss u not living in cali and all the movie locations etc. was excited when u decided to go on the road and have seen lots of different places. But ive noticed u stay kinda in the same places over and over ,Tennessee,chicago,georgia etc . was hoping u being on the move would hit more the central states, or more north Dakotas, etc. Even arizone,new mexico etc. Maybe its taking time to get comfortable hitting new areas ,bit hoping u head to different places. looking forward to videos thanks

Dollywood is my favorite park, over WDW. The people working there are so genuine and really make you feel like they are glad you came. Like you came to there house for Sunday dinner. And that is a part of my past that is fading quickly in this day and time.
I haven't been watching for too long but does he ever go to the Northern states? I'm from Los Angeles but I'd be really interested in watching that.

It's been a few years since he last made it north, and it wasn't Maine-North, so much as NY/NJ/PA-North and even then he was pretty much just passing through. (I remember a Centralia video and a Romero filming locations video.) But no extensive time spent in one general area like he spent in TX earlier this year. Part of the problem is that he can only travel northwards during the warm months, and there's too much other stuff also competing for his attention during that period.
Personally, I'd love to see him spend some time in the Hershey region; I think there's s lot of stuff there and in the surrounding counties he'd appreciate. But he'll get there when he gets there.
A certain amount of this year's travels have been dictated by the weather. The RV is not an all-season rig and will not do well in the cold.

I would've went right up the east through NC, Virginia, DC, new York, and Maine. just go right up the east and loop around. I don't wanna see like I'm complaining but we've seen Tennessee so many times and Atlanta and Florida. If I had his opportunity I would never see the same place twice for as long as I was able

OUTSTANDING... Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area is my favorite place in the south. Love watching your videos from this area. My family and I were there a few weeks ago and did some touring of the fire damaged areas. I think you should absolutely document and film some of the locations for future reference and just to let some people that have not to got see the damage get to see as well. HAVE FUN... Look foward to watching your future vlogs.

I think you should show it. Alot of people would want to see the rebirth of the area.
Maybe start the video low with the areas still damaged than shift into the rebuilding going on, than finish it on a positive note about the area.

Joseph Heaney, we mainly watch Adam for his uplifting vlogs but as he's back in one of his favourite places after the awful fire...it just seems a bit strange not to mention/show any of it....just like it didn't happen. You got to take the good with the bad, thats life...to go back after what happened & focus on only the good seems not quite right. I love Adam, I watch his vlogs every day. He obviously was shocked & devestated with what happened & probably just wants us to see that thankfully, alot of Gatlinburg still stands & is up & running. After all I have said here ....I respect Adam's decision, whether he does or doesn't , I love him just the same, he's just a great, genuine guy we all love so much & I look forward to his daily vlogs.

he can refill gallons for 27 cents. buy 2 litters for cheaper than a single serving. make his own coffee and food in his rv. and its 2-3 times more to eat in a park than at a restaurant.

Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge has always been a favorite vacation spot for our family. We were heartbroken to hear and see the tragedy in that area. I think it's important to keep things like this in the forefront of people's minds. Even though this happened a while ago, surely the effects are still felt in the community and of course, the families impacted. I'm sure prayers and support would still be appreciated.
Leave Tennessee and go somewhere you haven't been.

This park is rustic so your return to this park over and over tells the tale of your favorite ambiance. Your wonder and thrill of theme parks is refreshing. I was up after the fires and burst into tears the second I saw Gatlinburg. The thing is, so much is being rebuilt so quickly, so showing the rebirth of Gatlinburg may be a great thing. I am going back up again soon and I bet it will be as vibrant as it was before the fires and since the last time I was there in December.

I love that area, it is one of my favorite places. We agree, that is my favorite ride at Dollywood, as well. Enjoy your stay, looking forward to all the great vlogs from there.
Nice vlog Adam! There's somewhat of a stigma associated with Dollywood that is undeserved. It's clean, accessible, good shade, the food is decent and affordable, the rides are awesome, and the staff are generally kind and helpful locals. The Lightning Rod and Wild Eagle are two really cool coasters there. The cars for the kids are way better than the Tomorrowland Speedway at Disney World because they are electric so you're not breathing in exhaust. If you live within a few hours drive like we do a nice thing to do is to drive up and enter the park after 3pm. You can re-use the same ticket for the next day. If I had to cite one fault it is that the smoking sections are poorly laid out so you're frequently walking through smoke.
