Just to clarify ... when and IF I at some point find a place to hang my hat it will be based on a lot of different criteria . Close proximity to a major airport hub where flights are decent prices to make it easy to hop a plane anywhere at any time. A place with enough happening locally or history that when I am home the 2 weeks a month Im not stretching for daily content . Also a nice spot to park my rv and decent weather also come into play . At this point I'm just thinking outloud , As for now the journey continues in the same fashion and if it does change this will by no means change the content or daily upload schedule.
Also being close to family and friends is good, if you get my drift. haha! :D
I think TN would have been great for you. Too bad the airline prices are so crazy... Might look into North Carolina too. It's such a relaxing area.
TheDailyWoo come out to my ranch there are cows that live right in my front yard
TheDailyWoo North Carolina would give Adam Tho Woo a state holiday.
have you ever gone to virgina wear the waltons base the tv show from schyler city virginia
Regional airports will all be the same Adam. Hang the hat in Orlando, you can't beat the flight prices in / out of MCO or better yet, SFB. Do the snowbird thing and maybe find a long term camp situation for when it gets hot... that camp could rotate annually or semi-annually any place you like.
You may have been the only one outside of that town to have ever documented it. It's always neat to look back and imagine how it once was.
+rhettyforfun you may be right . I lived that little town
rhettyforfun it's beautiful
LOL NOT GRASS...MOSS on the roof!
Good to see you back on the road again
A huge part of me wishes Adam gets to call Florida his home again.
It's so pretty and green, a home base already? I'm surprised, but you'll find it when it feels right I just know it!! Thanks Adam, got my WOO FIX for the day whoop!!! Be safe😄😄😄😄
I love watching the Woos Travel Channel gives me great vacation ideas
No now that song is stuck in my head again!!!! 😜
Tennessee wouldn't be a bad place to eventually hang your hat.👍 It's on my short list along with Kentucky. They are just too beautiful and have pretty special people. 🤗
Have fun in Virginia 💜
Adam I used to live in Newport Tn. For 33 years. Morristown is only 18 miles from Newport. I've been to this Davy Crockett tavern before. Too bad you didn't rent that place in pigeon forge tn. You would of loved pigeon forge.
I think you made the right decision about not using Pigeon Forge as a base - I know how much you love it, and I think that love would be lessened and the excitement of going there would be too - ya know what I mean? Fab vlog as always Adam Thank You xxx
"You met another and PHHBBBTTT! you were gone!"
+Adventures by George nailed it
Haha! That was always the highlight of that show for me! :D
And nurse...Goodbody!
"where, where. are you tonight, why did you leave me here all alone? I searched the world over and thought I found true Love... ". Man, I miss that show. Waxing nostalgia with Hee Haw.
I do love these videos where took the back roads through these cool old towns with small museums. I hope you get back on that long and windinding road to feature more great memories. So many roads to choose. Thanks for this video Adam. Love the trains included.
Pal's!!! I love that place. And Pratt's BBQ is good too....that's Kingsport, TN. He's heading north people. Come up to Roanoke, plenty to see up here.
I'm from there. :) Pal's is great! Pratt's food is good, but man...they need to update the decor. ;-)
Awesome! My wife's family is from there and we got married in Kingsport. Actually had our rehearsal dinner at Pratt's. lol
I used to work at Rush Street Bar & Grill, right next door to Pratt's. :) Worked there for like 5 years in the late 80's / early 90's.
Adam you have the soul of a gypsy with your love of traveling the back roads! I really enjoyed the railroad museum. I love toy trains!
I could have absolutely seen you living in that area. But for now, I'm happy to travel some more withh you.
Sorry I'm late with a response. This was one of my favorite entries. I love it when you "off road". And to top it off, when you visited Archie's museum, as you panned the display case: there was an advertisement for MY hometown. "Endicott Johnson Shoes". I was born in Endicott. And not far away an homage to your birthplace in Tupalo. My grandfather worked at Endicott Johnson shoes after he immigrated from Italy . Thank you for all you do. You are a delight.
I want to thank you Adam the Woo - you don't know how these videos are lifting my spirits and giving me something to look forward too. Thank you for taking for the vicarious adventures.
That was awesome. I too love small town America.
Nice to see that you made a stop in my hometown of Morristown. I have lived here all my life. i love your videos Adam keep it up!
Got myself some Daily Woo and coffee to start my day. Perfect! :)
You're getting so close to OHIO!
"Vlog.......Over" -The worst part of my day.
Will Elliott true but Adam will return the next day. I watch his older stuff until he posts a new video up. 😇😏
OMG!! Davy Crockett's house. I grew up watching the show on the Disney Channel. Thanks for sharing it with us Adam. Brings back some good childhood memories. 💕😇😎🗻🛤
TheDailyWoo it is a very neat place went through there for Many years traveling through the South with My Mother. Keep doing what you do it blesses us watching it and it is a joyful time for you! BE WELL!
Good morning Adam!
I haven't had my woo fix for a week, so super glad to see you back on the road!
I like the idea of you settling somewhere as a home base and heading out for adventures for a couple of weeks. Perhaps the Charlotte area? The airport is a major hub, it's reasonably close to the mountains and you'd be close to Jacob too! Worth thinking about!
I can see you getting a piece of property that you can develop over time. A place where you can park Large Marge and go on your travels. When you return you can always vlog the improvements you make on your property, I think that would make very compelling vlogs!
Figuring out a spot for a home base Is exciting and needed for adamthewoo. Good luck with it. You are a special person and deserve peace and joy as you pursue your artistry dream👊
Ive been to that Pilot many, many, many, many times ! The soup bar at the Pilot/Flying J is *awesome* !! The visit to Archie Campbells museum was also awesome !! Thanx for getting a camera in there.
Adam, my wife and I were talking about you today and we both agree you should stay here in East Tennessee. We'd love to show you around. It is a great place to live.
Mr. Impulsive! You almost did it! I really hope you get a place sometime soon. You deserve to have a home base to relax and recharge!
Adventures by George I thought that was Marge large was for, so much for traveling the country
Youre very close to my neck of the woods! One day ill meet ya Mr Woo until then safe travels.
Love these small towns!
Small town, railroad museum and the tracks.............great place! I love trains.... my uncle used to work for Penn Central way back in the day. One of my top "I wanna do that when I grow up" lists. Nice idea using the back roads so you can find awesome places like that.
You should be so proud of what you have produced all these years !! Quality content that will live on for years !!!,
Have you considered a return to California as a home base? No matter where you end up, places like Pigeon Forge, St Cloud, Savannah, etc will always be those special places to visit - and anticipate revisiting. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
I love history too! Loved the old and current shots of the town.😊
When you are ready to put down roots....you will probably call that realtor back and settle down there in Pigeon Forge. How can you not? You love it so much! Complete with your beloved yard swing! Coffee taste so good every morning in the mountains! Be safe Adam! Justin is about to start his cross country trek. Maybe you two will meet somewhere in the middle? Be safe big guy!
I gave it a lot of thought. The negatives outweighed the positives based on what I do
Oh yeah, I totally see that, but you will retire from your travels someday. Where will that be? Florida or Pigeon Forge? Lol! Maybe by then, you can afford a home in both places! I can see your mom and dad visiting you in Pigeon Forge! Wherever you go...the mountains will be waiting for you!
The only way I can see America is by watching channels like yours. Thank you Adam.
As for the Cricket tavern, the item in the overhang isn't a stagecoach car, it's a covered wagon.
While you are in VA, swing over to Danville and check out the AAF Tank museum. Only open on Fridays and Saturdays though.
Cool town. As for a home base it seems to me that the Orlando area makes the most sense for you. You have ties and a support system there, family and friends. There is tons of stuff in Florida that you haven't covered, at least since I have been watching, for day and weekend trips. You can literally get anywhere from MCO for flying. Anyway, just my 2 cents. Spend the summer in Large Marge traveling and exploring up north and the winter covering Florida and the south.
Only problem is Adam complains about the humidity too much!
LOL that he does, that's why I suggested sending the summers up north.
ERic TenEyck sounds like you must be fairly new, he used to live in Orlando he has been nearly everywhere there at one point or another. I personally hope he continues to use the RV, he hasn't had it that long and there are lots more states that he hasn't taken it to
That's true I am fairly new so I haven't seen him do much at all in Florida other than St. Cloud and Orlando area, and of course that rocket places and Burt Reynolds ranch and a few other places. So if he has done more than I missed them, but that doesn't negate my reasons for why the Orlando area would be a good home base for Mr. Woo. I also specifically talked about continuing to use the RV.
I doubt that would be super fun for and compared to other places, yes his family is there but he already live there for like 15 years if not longer, I imagine he probably wants something new, and he is already done hundreds of Orlando area vlogs , while I personally like them, people will bitch constantly every time he goes to a Disney park, it used to cost him a lot of grief because because he would get so many hateful messages it was ridiculous. While he certainly may move to Orlando it some point it would be like deja vu for a lot of us old fans but we have seen so much of it already
Thanks Adam! Safe travels
We are a week away from moving from NW Florida to 15 minutes outside of Knoxville in the country but right down the road from the airport. It is a pretty affordable area. We are settling down from traveling all over as well and we just LOVE the area.
Spaced out on videos this morning. Mixed a number of subjects together. Need coffee!
Daniel Boone lived there ?
TheDailyWoo Sorry about that. Just had a morning brain fart!
Next time you pass thru NC....check out the NC Transportation Museum....huge train museum in Spencer ...about 30 mins north east of Charlotte. You won't be disappointed......
my home town💙💙
Glad you were able to go see crockett tavern while you were in Tennessee.
For air travel Dallas Texas or Houston Texas are absolutely amazing, both having two airports you can get cheap flights to just about anywhere and they are both in the middle of the country
Good Morning & Happy Tuesday Everyone! Watched & Liked!
Move Back to Southern California bro 👍🏼
I absolutely love your content, Adam! I sit at work, wishing the hours away, just so I can get home, and get right back to your channels!
Adam, have you ever considered building a website documenting all of the cool stuff you find? Like with a big ol' map showing where you've been, neat stuff in central Florida, rural Tennessee, etc. There could be a community to share ideas, tips, and places!
I know there are some sites like this, but not one as extensive as you and your wandering friends could create. Maybe a book?!?
Small town America in the South always makes for some of my favorite vlogs.
I just left Williamsburg, VA. It's a really neat colonial town with a lot reenactments going on. You should check it out if you've never been.
Now you're in my old stomping ground. I spent a lot of years in the mountains of Virginia. Started when I went to Va. Tech, and when I graduated, I just stayed in the area.
Love your videos... You are informative as well as entertaining.
Hope you have an awesome rest of the day the open road awaits
Oh Adam, happy trails to you and keep on Trucking(RV'ing)
Welcome to Virginia, Adam! Hope you find some fun and interesting things in our state.
FDR and Hee Haw in that town? I think I'm gonna have to call Bull Gap on that.
Clutch is in concert here in Louisville, KY this Friday Adam. You should make a stop here :)
Wherever your adventures take you, I'll be there alongside to watch whatever is in store. Also, you should totally do a meetup over the summer! Have a good day Adam.
Thanks for sharing Adam...!
That wasn't a Stage coach, it's a prairie schooner.
Bull City was very cool, enjoyed seeing the old buildings and the train museum.
You came through my hometown. Thank you for showing the Pratt's Barn Indian. Also Pal's Food is great try it will you? Adam. Frenchie Fries, sauce burger and Sweet Tea. Mmmmm.
Thank you Adam.
NEW ORLEANS!!!!! Low cost of living great cheap airport and all the ghost stories in the world!!!!
Have you ever thought of visiting Snoqualmie Washington? I have never been there, but it is where Twin Peaks was filmed and there is a 3rd season approaching on showtime in 12 days. I think it would be right up your alley .
Great observation there Adam, with the "No Loitering" sign! I thought that's what you were supposed to do at a rest stop! lol
Interesting out of the way history places, love it ! BTW.....Davey Crockett wouldn't have been wandering by those train tracks(as you say) because he was around years before the trains were.
good point , my mind was wandering
Awesome Vlog Adam! I like learning about History even if its in UK or USA and the World, to learn how people lived all them years ago and the old Buildings with history too.
That's not a stage coach. That's a Conestoga (covered) Wagon. You can tell it's a Conestoga vs other types of covered wagons by it's angled sides and curved bottom. Come to Lancaster, PA and you can eat at the Conestoga Wagon restaurant.
theoriginalsache I’m 64 now but when I was a kid around 6 my grandma used to tell me stories about coming to OKLAHOMA in a covered wagon. Now I wish I could remember them!
Literally watching this moments after watching your new home purchase debut in Celebration. Had no clue the facts that were in this episode! @12:25 #awesome
Welcome to Virginia! Looks like your a fair piece south of me but go check out Lynchburg while you're that direction. My cousin owns Bees Wax Candle Company in the old, historical district. That's a really neat old town with lots of history!
its nice to see you in Kingsport tenn....great place to visit and a lot of history and road side activities close by
Those windows on the Crockett Tavern were called wind doors, which is where the word "window."
I'm happy you decided to keep driving Marge around for a while longer. The videos have been so funny and extra good lately I can't wait to see whats in store for the future. Thanks for your hard work!
Appalachian Trail Days is this weekend in Damascus, VA. Pretty big event, worth seeing!
The big Indian Adam was talking to is right down the road from where I live, Pratts restaurant in Kingsport Tennessee, famous for their barbecue.
Adam welcome back to Virginia. I sure wish I could bump into you this time. I missed you the last time.
Adam Lizzy Borden is waiting in Massachusetts! Come visit!!
Man, at first when I seen Pals and Sonic I thought you were at Elizabethton, TN about an hour from me across the NC state line:)
Videos like this are my favorite.....Great vid Adam
Love your videos! I'm glad I found them!
Yes! You're in my state! Can't wait to see what you do here! I have some suggestions if you get to the D.C. Area!
Morning Adam.
I am happy you explained why the move to the PF/GB area was not good for travel. I am my juggler tour all the time and we almost considered to be in that area.
That would be cool if you spent more time in the Smoky Mountain Area during the summer and fall.
I can totally see the appeal of the G'burg area. We adore that place. We vacation once or twice a year at the Dragon's Tail. That's where we plan to retire to one day.
No Loitering,,,,,LOL,,,That makes the worlds dumbest signs list!
JimOgle's Outdoor Adventures : Surprising that there wasn't a 'NO SIGNS' sign, seemed to be a sign for everything else.
The_ASH : That is surprising!!!
Yea i think they are about one sign away from NO TRESPASSING..Lol!!
Quite interesting! I actually live in Morristown. The Food City you stopped at is where I work.
Chattanooga would be a great place to live too! They have an airport that isn't nearly as expensive as Knoxville and its smaller.
You went right through Kingsport, TN. That's where I was born and pretty much stayed (that area) until I was 30. I've eaten at that restaurant with the big Indian statue, many times. :)
Oh, and Pal's is the best fast food place anywhere. Read up on it!
Another great video !
History lessons with The Woo on his adventures never disappoints...👍
Come on out to REDDING , CA . Adam . We are right on Interstate 5 and we are 600 miles from Disneyland and 600 miles from Seattle ,WA . We have the Three Shasta's . Shasta Lake , Shasta Dam , And Mount Shasta . We also have Burney Falls and many other GREAT Places to visit .
