Granny Pat that pot isn't a ricer It is used for canning I have that very pot So when your making jams and jellies you put your fruit in that pot Turn the handle and your product like the seeds and husk will stay in the pit allowing the pulp to pass thru the bottom They are extremely hard to find and are very expensive should you find one I have seen them for 125 dollars

Good evening Granny Pat, after you mentioned that Smithfield meat coming from China I had to go look it up, 100% correct, didn’t know Eckrich was one of their brands. I’m not ever buying that brand again. You also have to be careful on frozen food as well, I always check where it comes from, made in China I stay clear away from anything coming from them. How Smithfield treats their pigs is just inhumane. I also want my meat from USA.❤❤ Enjoy your supper, looks so yummy🤤

Her pancakes and french toast😂 she made chicken salad like you. Chopped in a big wooden bowl. Her meatloaf minute rice.,campbells veg vegetable soup in the meat. Tuna and egg salad. Which my brother hated. Saw your Lays chips in the back yummm! Pat your kitc🎉🎉hen with all the knick knacks. My mom was like you created a home. Did I tell you when she put up the fake brick behind the stove. That was a '70's thing. Then we got paneling that made the house real nifty.

I *love* French toast (egg toast). I add a drop or so of vanilla to my egg mixture too; plus, I sprinkle in a bit of cinnamon but you've used cinnamon bread to begin with. The only think your plate is missing is some strawberries!

The device you showed us that you have never used and didn’t know what you bought it for is called a foley food mill. I own my grandmother which is over 100 years old and it’s three times the size of that little one we had two huge golden delicious apple trees at one time and I would stew the apples steam them put them through the fully food mail and make applesauce, cinnamon very little sugar delicious it separates the skin and seeds. Nothing like homemade applesauce 🍎 your French toast with maple syrup is a winner! The best comfort food is a breakfast for supper.
Yes, I once had an old ‘ricer’. It was large. I never used it; just liked old kitchen gadgets. I once had a 3-gallon milk bottle with a handle for carrying. People took them to the farmer and he filled the milk bottle with fresh milk. Pretty heavy thing to carry back home. A kid’s wagon came in handy.

My mom used to heat the syrup, too. And we had a special little syrup container we poured our syrup from. It looks different than yours.

My florescent light is over the sink. I have tried using it but it leaves a shadowy glare making the situation worse.

Revere cookware is fantastic and we have had a set in the family for over 70 years! The ricer works good for boiled potatoes
I think some of my Revere Ware is that old. Received my first piece as a wedding gift, 1954.

My mother used something just like your “ricer” to make her applesauce. The whole cooked apple went in and as you turn it out comes the apple sauce
Sweet potato would be good in your ricer. Make a nice casserole or mashed for side dish.

The device you showed us that you have never used and didn’t know what you bought it for is called a foley food mill. I own my grandmother which is over 100 years old and it’s three times the size of that little one we had two huge golden delicious apple trees at one time and I would stew the apples steam them put them through the fully food mail and make applesauce, cinnamon very little sugar delicious it separates the skin and seeds. Nothing like homemade applesauce 🍎 your French toast with maple syrup is a winner! The best comfort food is a breakfast for supper.
Yes, I once had an old ‘ricer’. It was large. I never used it; just liked old kitchen gadgets. I once had a 3-gallon milk bottle with a handle for carrying. People took them to the farmer and he filled the milk bottle with fresh milk. Pretty heavy thing to carry back home. A kid’s wagon came in handy.
@@chitchatwithgrannypat7900 we did the same thing had glass milk jugs. My mother went up to the farm and brought home our milk. It was a dairy 1 mile from our house the best.👍🏻
