I didn't know that the last question was that easy. It came up on my mock and I was struggling. I just want to say thank you so so much for explaining it.
@@lordpengz16 I was most definitely supposed to get 7/8. If I did the exams I would have definitely gotten or surpassed that, but because of covid and all the self assessment grades, I got a 5. But at the end of the day, the grade I got meant absolutely nothing.
I'm pretty weak in maths, I don't get concepts easily, but I was surprised at how you can explain just once or maximum twice and I still get it! Thank you very much, TGMT! Much love and take care of yourself
i want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, I'm currently struggling to revise maths as it gets hard to concentrate but your videos made it really helpful!
omg, thank you so much I've never understood this topic even after two tutors have taught me this. THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU REALLY DO DESERVE THE WORLD SIR.
Thank you for including examples with amounts ending in zero. So many videos spit out the same without a variation of different numbers and a mix of significant figures and decimals. And including truncation example. Much appreciated.
GCSE paper 1 (Non-calculator) 2022 is done and I did well just because of you now I am revising for paper 2 and paper 3 using your channel thank you so much GCSE maths tutor! you deserve a lot more subscribers.
If I pass maths I owe it to you - cognito and eddie woo. but for my paper 2 I have mainly been watching your videos. If you have anything on geometry for dumbasses let me know.
i'm convinced that 2395 and 2405 are basically boundaries for rounding to 2400, and the bounds of the .5's are called the bounds because for some reason that's just how it works. Then you just use the methods to find the error intervals ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Bob Sham It seems to come up in one form or another every year 😁 check out the next video in the series that I’m just uploading for the next steps in this topic!
sir i dont understand why for some questions you put x in the middle however for some you put the actual number to replace x. Can you please explain this
does it matter if you write it with an x or with the number given in the question? I see answers doing both and I want to know if it's relevant or if it doesn't matter considering x is just a substitute ?
It’s usually always ok to use the number or a letter, you aren’t marked down for it, but if the question states a latter then you’d normally put the letter in 😁🙏🏼
Great that you have found something that works for you then (hopefully!) We can’t always gel with every teacher, part of the reason I made this channel so I’m glad you have found it 😁🙏🏼

@@lordpengz16 hi, sup.
Yh I did, although it was teacher assessed grades, which was shambolic.
Currently at university studying CS.

Hi, thank you so much for making this a bit clearer for me. I am 44 and have just started GCSE maths.

Actually the method I found, was already there once I continued watching lol
I honestly find maths very confusing but you just explained this topic so easily and it really helped, thanks you!!
As someone who’s doing maths after 2 gap years, this has really been useful. Thank you so much
Congratulations, the best video about this topic. 💐💐💐
Not only is this guy good at explaining maths, but the intro music is so good.

Your videos are really helpful! You explain slowly and in detail.

Very informative! Thank you!
DanDan333 Guinguette Great to hear! Thank you 😁
bro u saved my life
why do you sometimes write 'x' in the middle and sometimes write the number given in the question. Please let me know xx
It just depends if the question states a letter, it’s always ok to write the number in the middle though 😁🙏🏼
how is this the same thing as what i learn in class its so much easier thank you!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!
Thank you, this was really helpful
So glad to hear it! 😁🙏🏽

Note to self: 13:38
So the arrows will allows point to the left 👈
Thank you!
ho did u find paper 1
Thank you for the video. For the first question, you wrote 31.65 as lower bound instead of 32.65
he wrote 32.65 but it just looks like he wrote 31.65
Somebody gratulate this tutor for knowing Maths
He'll get everything right
Thanks it helped me
Crystal clear 😊
Simple thanks
at 14:13 i dont understand why you're adding 2.5, instead of just keeping the error intervals as 2395 and 2405? can someone explain pls
i'm convinced that 2395 and 2405 are basically boundaries for rounding to 2400, and the bounds of the .5's are called the bounds because for some reason that's just how it works. Then you just use the methods to find the error intervals ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
because 2.5 is in the middle of 5, it's basically what he's been doing for the whole video before that question
@user94783I’m so confused he wasn’t doing that
in the exam is this question going to be in a non calculator paper?
Hii have an exam tmrw going over this😆😆
You are a lifesaver
Error intervals came up on this years paper!
Bob Sham It seems to come up in one form or another every year 😁 check out the next video in the series that I’m just uploading for the next steps in this topic!
But can we add 0.5 and subtract 0.5?
sir i dont understand why for some questions you put x in the middle however for some you put the actual number to replace x. Can you please explain this
Gemma Khan You can put either in the middle it doesn’t matter either way 😁
@@TheGCSEMathsTutor oh ok thanks sir .Much apprecciated☺
sir can you make a video on difference of two squares plz.
Gemma Khan Factorising? I believe I cover different of two squares in my factorising quadratics video! 😁
@@TheGCSEMathsTutor oh sorry.I dont know what half of the content on the spec means lol
Thank you
For the examples shown from 13:38 can you just half the number it’s asking for in nearest m,mph,cm etc…?
Wow I finally get it!
So glad to hear it helped! 😁🙏🏼
Thank you for the video :) but why do u put x in the middle first and then the number in the middle in the second half of the video
You can use either! Sometimes the question may specify what to put in the centre otherwise it’s optional 😁🙏🏼
does it matter if you write it with an x or with the number given in the question? I see answers doing both and I want to know if it's relevant or if it doesn't matter considering x is just a substitute ?
You can use either! Normally if there is a letter involved you would sue that but either way is fine 😁🙏🏼
hey great video, do you use an Ipad pro to make videos?
Very useful
So glad to hear it! 😁🙏🏼
Thank you 😊
My pleasure 😁🙏🏼🙏🏼
you know for the first one wasn't it meant to be 31.65 instead of 32.65 for the answer highlighted in yellow

What would be UB and LB of 8 correct to 1 significant figure ?
7.5 and 8.5 👍🏼
On a test they wrote the question as 16.0 (instead of just 16) and asked to find the error interval, so is it safe to asume they want 15.5
Tyyy
thank you sir
I don't understand how to know wheather you add 50 or 5 to the number
