We never really had such a detailed lesson on this kind of probability so I was always getting it wrong in test. However you finally explained it perfectly for me. I now feel more confident at probability. On to the tree diagram next...my worst nightmare

thank you so much this really helped me understand this topic I'm entering year11 and I'm struggling on paper2 content your videos really helped out a lot and I'm now confident to do this mock :D

It also doesn’t state it’s exclusive.. I’d agree though ambiguous wording like this is very frustrating, I’ve seen often that when this is the case they allow for both scenarios 😁🙏🏼
Thank you so much!! I didn't do so well in my latest maths paper and i needed a refresher on this topic and it helped. By any chance have you uploaded the harder venn diagram questions because I CANNOT comprehend them? Brilliant teacher, thanks :)
@@justsomeone5660 i think its because although 0 is an even number, if we put it in the venn diagram, it doesn't mean anything. Therefore it isnt required to put it in the venn diagram.

(If that makes sense!) maybe watch that question first though 😁🙏🏼
Would you mind to send me the link to learn the basics to higher of Set ( van diagram ) and Probability. As these are only revision i want to learn it more from basic to higher like you have done Factorising of Quadratic and for higher as well ...Very much appreciated !!
Hey Sir, currently I have mocks, I had the non calc yesterday and it did not go well. I’m expected to get an 8 in my maths gcse but I’m achieving a 5/6 right now. I really want a 9 I’m maths, but I don’t know how I could get there. I already do practice papers, but I forget them the next day. Any advice on achieving a 9?

How come you didn’t include 30 for the even number but included 25 as a odd number I know the wording different but still even less than in other maths question you’d include that number so I’m confused would we all get this question wrong just cause of those little errors
First of all, thanks for all of your videos as thy are such a great help to all the students!! As a point of clarity, in the second question 1 and 25 is not actually included as the question states "Between". In an exam question should 1 and 25 be included or not?

Sir, for the question at 11:43, shouldn’t you also count 0 as it’s an even number and it’s also less than 30?
0 is not an even number
using that logic you could argue including negative numbers so it wouldnt work

11:26 is 0 not also an even number less than 30?

Hi, thanks for this it really helped. Quick Q. WHat does a u on its side mean in terms of notation?
Btw you need to update your A level vids the syllabus has changed
when the question said "odd numbers between 1 and 25", I thought it meant that 1 and 25 would not be included 😅
