    We never really had such a detailed lesson on this kind of probability so I was always getting it wrong in test. However you finally explained it perfectly for me. I now feel more confident at probability. On to the tree diagram next...my worst nightmare

    14:15 i would say that 1 and 25 are not between 1 and 25 it doesnt state its inclusive

      It also doesn’t state it’s exclusive.. I’d agree though ambiguous wording like this is very frustrating, I’ve seen often that when this is the case they allow for both scenarios 😁🙏🏼

    Sir, for the question at 11:43, shouldn’t you also count 0 as it’s an even number and it’s also less than 30?

      @@justsomeone5660 i think its because although 0 is an even number, if we put it in the venn diagram, it doesn't mean anything. Therefore it isnt required to put it in the venn diagram.

      @@TheGCSEMathsTutor 70 people were asked if they speak italian or greek or turkish
      Of these people,
      41 speak italian
      6 speak italian , greek and turkish
      7 speak italian and turkish but not greek
      8 speak greek and turkish
      9 do not speak any of the languages
      all 11 people who speak greek speak at least one other language
      Two of the 70 people are chosen at random. Work out the probabilty that they both only speak turkish (5 marks)

(If that makes sense!) maybe watch that question first though 😁🙏🏼

    Hey Sir, currently I have mocks, I had the non calc yesterday and it did not go well. I’m expected to get an 8 in my maths gcse but I’m achieving a 5/6 right now. I really want a 9 I’m maths, but I don’t know how I could get there. I already do practice papers, but I forget them the next day. Any advice on achieving a 9?

    How come you didn’t include 30 for the even number but included 25 as a odd number I know the wording different but still even less than in other maths question you’d include that number so I’m confused would we all get this question wrong just cause of those little errors

    As a point of clarity, in the second question 1 and 25 is not actually included as the question states "Between". In an exam question should 1 and 25 be included or not?
