tried doing this with waverly kentucky ive had to redo it roughly 4 times now and redownload the map. when i get to archive the edited map, it doesnt rename it and it says i need to download the map trying to use it in multiplayer. ideas? i had both windows side by side to see what you done and no luck
Thx for this informative video, it helps me a lot! 👍 Does the landscape tools work the same way in the editor as in the game? I have some problems with flatten a field, can you make a vidoe on how to use the landscape tools? BR. Mogens
Are you asking for a vid for the in-game landscape tool or the way to do it in the editor? And to answer your question, yes they do, just different controls. Some things are easier in the editor and some are easier in game.
Hello. I watched the vid. Took forest river map. Deleted some things and saved everything the way u showed. Start the game and buildings are pink, lime green, purple and trees are white. Any idea what i may have done wrong?
I will also add that i also went back started fresh and instead of deleting the objects. I just moved them down below the surface and saved following the steps in ur vid, and get the same issue
@ Sounds like you deleted some texture files. You may have to get a fresh copy and start over. Be careful what you delete, it may be part of a larger control group. I will check out the map and see if there are any issues with the map itself. I will get back to you if i find something, either way ill post a reply.
That is caused by not downloading the proper files. You have to make sure when you export from a different map that you hit the export with all files tab. I did another vid about importing trees to a map but the process is the same for buildings and such. Check that one out and if you still have issues, let me know.ruclips.net/video/3kBZ7j1CUg4/видео.html
@@allsimgaming I get that and I did that pretty sure I'm doing it right I get 90% of stuff to pop up with texture I was told it was because the map I was pulling from is like a paid textures thing like u cant get them unless u buy it lambomod race track but idk thanks
@@SICKWITHIT541 that is correct, some modders do that kind of stuff. If your looking for racetrack stuff i will keep my eye out for some maps that you can extract from without having to pay for it.
@@SICKWITHIT541 Alein Jims rock crawl maps has a lot of racing stuff as far as signage and things go and you can use any road from a lot of maps for a race track if that's something your interested in.
I followed all the steps in the video for buckland, I want to remove the cow barns I removed them and did all the collisions as well but when I go int he game it still shows the same original format please help
So i must be doing something wrong. I have made small changes on elm creek. Like deleting a billboard or an outdoor canopy. I see the changes in offline play. If i play multiplayer. My other player is not seeing the changes. So i am guessing it’s something wrong on that zip part for online play. I will keep working on it. Suggestions welcome. Thanks
Watch the vid from 8:32. Sorry I kind of messed up that part but at 8:32 I got it right...lol Also keep in mind that some maps are not multiplayer, and if you change the map, make sure everyone has the new map and deletes the old one or it will override the edit.
You can not edit a save game file, only the map file. If you edit the map file it will more than likely need a new game start. You can however replace objects in the map such as trees and such and still use the save game. Before you attempt this, make sure to make a backup copy of your map just in case you mess something up. If you alter the terrain of the map it will require a new save game so be mindful of that.

@@allsimgaming i fixed it…….. stupid mistake. I had my GE preference set to fs19 path yet from another map
after adding this to my mods folder, I loaded up the game and when I select a map, I'm not able to select the map I just edited?
did u fix that
unfortunately not... @@nuffield460man
The map file doesn’t seem to pick up giants editor, the “map” file doesn’t have the yellow giants icon on it, any idea what that could be?
Only thing I can think of is that its not an FS22 map. What map are you looking at, would help to look at it so I can better answer your question.
My goal is to add custom textures tillage textures to taheton county, unless I’m doing something wrong
