I love this game so much, I am so happy that it got the FPS boost. 🥰 I can't stand 30fps first person shooter games, but I stuck with this one til the end of the campaign. So happy it got the boost
It definitely looks 60fps to me. You can definitely see texture pop ins in the background but considering it's open world and using an older engine, I'm quite impressed.
I been replaying the game in FPS Boost the last weeks and had it in QuickResume (SeriesX) playing it daily. Suddenly the FPS take a huge hit and the game goes into like slowmode (like 5fps) right from start out of Quickresume lately. If I quit it from QuickResume and restart it it works again, slowmo gone. Few days later same problem again- I turned off FPS Boost now for FC New Dawn, no problems anymore. Might be Quickresume+FPS Boost Mode ?
Maurice, Do you think 1440p 60 will become the norm for series s games in the future? And will I notice a big difference upgrading to the series x on a 1440p 27" 60Hz monitor? Alot of 1080p games look rough to me.
@@TheXboxTester ok thanks. I think jedi: fallen order, the division II, grounded look amazing, despite being 1080p. I feel it's hit and miss sometimes on a 1440 monitor. But I think the series x would be overkill for my setup, so the series s is the best fit?
Been playing this on series x and while 9 times out of 10 I'd pick fps I gotta say I'd rather leave the fbs boost off on this one for that 4k it really does make a difference
@@Scarface1982G I found 5 just all over the place I really didn’t enjoy it that much same with 4. I’ve loved farcry since the beginning hopefully the next game will be good. I may watch some more videos on this before I make my choice 🤣. They did a new edition of 3 didn’t they ? A classic or something does that not run at 60 ?

Alot of 1080p games look rough to me.
You won't notice a lot of differce if you upgrade to a series X. And i don't know if it will be the norm.
