I LOVE THIS BIRD. I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE STOMPY FEETIES. HE MAKES ME SMILE EVERY TIME I SEE A VIDEO OF HIS ANTICS. YOU SHOULD TEACH HIM HOW TO BARK LIKE A DOG. I REALLY WANTED TO GET A BIRD LIKE THE FEATHERY COMEDIAN JUST TO TELL MY ADA SERVICE DOGS TO GO TO BED AND SIT. BUT THEN I REMEMBERED THAT I AM DEATHLY ALLERGIC TO FEATHERS BUT NOT THE KIND GOLDEN RETRIEVERS HAVE SO I'M OK WITH THAT BREED FOR MY ADA SERVICE DOGS.
MAYBE YOU COULD TRAIN HIM TO SAY NO BITIES JACOB FRANCIS, WHO IS MY BABY ADA SERVICE DOG WHO GOT ME OUT OF A SEIZURE WHEN HE WAS 3 MONTHS OLD AND NOW HE PREVENTS THEM. HE JUST TURNED A YEAR.

No you can't just reboot. You have Ctrl ALt Tab menu, go to Options., Settings, Languages, and select Cockatoo.

@@nancydiehl296 have you ever interacted with a cockatoo for more than 5 minutes? They are by far THE WORST bird to have as a companion. Many people will agree with that otherwise umbrellas wouldn't have such high rehoming rates

Yeah thats a lot easier said than done, especially with birds, as they can poop everywhere and the poop is liquid so it goes everywhere, sliding down doors, splattering everywhere ect... growing up with a large parrot she would chew on everything as well, including doors and various objects, though that could be a result of poor training than anything else...
Some parrots also scream more than others.... parrot screams are meant to be heard for miles in the rainforest, so you can imagine the impact in a tiny living space

His voice is absolutely adorable. My husband loves our ringneck and tolerates & enjoys it too. Your husband seems to be the same. They are smart, curious with scissors on their face lol. Lots of time, love and attention required. Mines a rescue so it has taken a long time but she is family now. Only vacation if she goes and she is mostly cage free.... Totally worth it but it is a commitment people don't always understand. Love how y'all love each other ❤️.

N00B All good friend, you could always go down to the local rescue shelter /parrot owner groups to check out some of the exotic parrots on your home turf.
Mind you, a flock of Sulphur crested cockatoo can lift your bins for food. They are clever, but loud in groups. :^)
