I'm not a fan of the 80s Ironhide toy, but I can understand the frustrations you have, because they purposely made Ironhide and Ratchet the way they did, and it focused with the Marvel comics. However I think the reason people are threw off about the toy that it didn't look like from the cartoon. You and I know that these toys came out before the cartoon, so your argument is valid and logical.
These are the same types of idiots who proclaims TFC/Sir Topham to be an oppressive dictator regardless of how the Railway Series and the TV series actually portrays him. Then says that James 'Steven Moffat Jr' Roberts is the best TF writer despite other writers like Simon Furman and Paul Dini existing.
I mostly agree with you but I do have the defend the Ironhide entry a little bit. They're using that picture of Movie Ironhide because it's specifically been recolored to look like the G1 character in a color scheme that Ironhide never actually had in the movie. It would be more insulting if they used a version in his screen accurate colors instead but because they used the G1 repaint I'm willing to give that one a bit of a pass. Also I don't think there was a decent modern version of G1 Ironhide 3 years ago so they had to use SOMETHING to represent a modern version. I will also say... while I agree with your reasoning, disliking the G1 toy because it isn't show accurate is dumb if you're expecting something that was made before the show existed to look like the animation model. But I will also give a little bit of slack there as not everyone enjoys the toys just as toys on their own but only got into it because of the show and for that I can understand why Ironhide gets a lot of hate. Of course that's really more of a personal preference issue rather than the toy itself being bad. I'm sure Ironhide and Ratchet in the original Diaclone line were actually a lot of fun because they're really meant to interact with the Diaclone pilots which were never released in the Transformers toy line which is another reason I just think the Transformers version is dumb, it loses some of the play value unless you have some spare G.I. Joes laying around to replace those Diaclone pilots they were meant to have. I'm not entirely sure if this is accurate but from what I read online those Diaclone pilots are about the same size and level of articulation as G.I. Joe figures. I've never personally played with either of them so don't quote me on that. That said it's still really dumb if their complaint is not being accurate to the G1 cartoon and their only example for a decent toy also isn't accurate because it's based on an entirely different animation model. And yeah if the list is suppose to be Transformers with bad transformations there's a bunch of figures that would make far more sense to go on this list than anything actually mentioned here. You can't *fake* passion. Only a complete layman would miss the absence of _said_ passion in a list of this sort.
Look, as much as this list was bad, some things that made you come across as a bit naff: You should probably say "official product" rather than "real product" with third party stuff. They're also not generally on the main market, so it's not really logical to say they're confusing casuals. Being products you can purchase, they're real, just not official. The article's mention of Reflector as "creepy" was written specifically in reference to the character, not the toy. Reflector's bio is referenced in how he feels stalker-y and prone to blackmail, making the camera alt mode creepy in the very context of the character himself. It's the next paragraph where they go into the alt mode being dull and weird, but the first bit is speaking on the character.
Which means they haven’t read Soundwave’s bio. His says almost the same thing. They are picking on Reflector probably because they think he isn’t popular.

_Not me._ These kinds of armchair "experts" are _irritating_ to come across, especially when they intentionally push out misleading/sloppily researched information. I've seen this sort of stuff in other fandoms I'm a part of and it boggles my mind how they're propped up by their user-base for what amounts to a fluff piece where they dip their toe in something and then call it a day/move on to the next thing. You can't *fake* passion. Only a complete layman would miss the absence of _said_ passion in a list of this sort.
Look, as much as this list was bad, some things that made you come across as a bit naff:
You should probably say "official product" rather than "real product" with third party stuff.
Ye complaining about a UFO not being good. As if they know how a UFO actually is
I'm sorry but I have seen a lot of these "Worst names" "Worst toys" "Transformers who shouldn't exist." If you are that cinical about the hobby you need to stop. You clearly aren't enjoying it anymore.
Had, still have OG BW Cheetor. Yes, a thick cheetah. Originaly supposed to be Tigatron (white tiger) and "normal" tiger. And what TJOmega sad. KIDS toys ... f .... it. Number 15 and 14 ... G1 Silverbolt and BW or what Silverbolt. Don't get your blood presure too high TJ :D
Okay, just had to rewrite my comment while watching the video. Number 5 ... whats wrong with Cosmos ? Turns into an "Adams" style U.F.O. .... and a doorbell. Tits ... i don't know, green with red nipples ... never saw one like that ... waiting for the last 4. Number 2 ... "gimmick toy" (TM and copyright to TJOmega). And for number 1 .. look up "shellformer" not shelfwarmer, writer. Next time. Thank you for the video and for your reactions TJO. It was fun.
i like the twins there funny
this site has to be stopped posting about transformers
Lol!
😊👍
Jesus, another amateur makes another "bad" transformers list
I can't be the only one who saw the title of this video and thought it was going to be TJ calling all of his Top 10 lists dumb.
Just because we complain about a bad transformer from a sublime, doesn't mean we hate the sublime itself. The shoe transformer is a bad transformer because it was badly done.
