I’m honestly quite impressed with how this version of Pantheon turned out, the difficulty is noticeable harder than last week but I mainly think this is due to Rhulk being the final boss. The other encounters are still mostly fine with Explicator being the only real anomaly since the amount of ads, tormentors and tornados makes it quite challenging at -15 power. Speaking of, Rhulk is the newly added encounter and the changes are incredibly well done IMO. Of course in true Bungie Pantheon fashion there are a slew of Tormentors that spawn in, replacing the old Abominations which can still be marked for ammo with Cenotaph, but by far the biggest change is the addition of a second, yes, SECOND Rhulk the boss arena. This “Shadow Clone” roams the arena and kicks you if you get too close, but aside from that it cannot dash or beam attack, you just have to keep your distance. That said though, he doesn’t even de-spawn during damage, which makes movement a key component of staying alive. Overall very pleased with the changes as it makes for a super fun challenge, looking forward to next week even more now! Anyway, please enjoy the guide!

@@thegregster3808 Not just by skill, also by having a team of six people who are competent enough. 🙃Lfging the first two weeks were a nightmare; week 2 took 6 hours for me to plat and clear while trying to stay composed whenever I'd see the person who had second highest damage was 2-3m below me (except for Atraks, which was touch and go because people on bottom refused to kill servitors/help me get Op).
Might be a bit of a self report but my team ended up using TLord to lock in the Rhulk 2 phase. After an hour of missing crux rockets and failing final stand, we used the RoN ad clear gamer special and held left click to a VERY comfortable 2 phase.
We had 3 hunters staggering their arc supers on marksman dodge, 2 warlocks giving radiant on Rain of Fire and an emergency TCrash for final stand.
You don't need to hit a 2 phase for the triumph. You only need to hit 500k at minimum. My team did 3 phases, and we killed everything, ended well after the timer was done, and still got both the emblem and high score triumph progress.
Yeah, the timer is just an easier way to get it, but actual platinum is 500k, a three phase on most gives it to you due to the amount of things you kill

My team failed to get Plat with a score of 505k in 3 phase and only got the Plat when we did a 2 phase. So either it bugged for us or is higher then 505k

Me and my team hit platinum score on rhulk with a 3 phase and we missed the bonus score from the time limit. We got 318k and managed to get it. If I had to guess platinum is probably 300k but take that with a grain of salt. Also thanks for the consistently great content ❤

Yeah, I was about to say it. Platinum isn't tied to high score, I guess every encounter has a different points threshold to get at least the triumph. Otherwise 2-phasing every boss in the final Pantheon could be a bit of a stretch

You can do Rhulk in 3 phases. I ran it a few times today and a few were 3 phase runs and we went OVER time (by over 3-5min) and we still got platinum score. Not platinum time but all you need is platinum score
You can do rhulk in 1 phase and you can also solo one phase him. I’ve done it many times and clipped it for the non believers

Crux Termination is also really good in this week’s pantheon with either reconstruction/explosive light, envious/explosive light or slide shot explosive light. Hunters use gathering storm, titans use thunder crash and warlocks ofc run well.
For Bhulk (Black Rhulk) we 5 manned damage and had one person camp the stairs and kite him. There's a barrier slightly down the stairs that no damage can get through. Have him walk up to you, then hide behind the barrier, as he walks away, walk back up. If he doesn't turn around, shoot his shoulders or thighs, or with something explosive and he should target you again. It can be a bit inconsistent so prepare to warn your team. Also for the tormenters, one will spawn every dunk unless you don't kill the first one. Don't break his shoulders, and shoot the purple thing away and you'll be fine. We 3 phased so we killed 3 tormenters, and we got the high score triumph. If you care a lot about the rewards, you need to 2 phase I believe to get the adepts.
Why aren’t you just cheesing him? There’s a very easy very viable cheese and y’all are trying to cook up ways to survive and deal dmg. 😂

I know it's kind of a meme, but Div and Thunderlord actually is pretty good on Rhulk. If people are on burst supers you'll likely get two supers off.

I Can also confirm that thunder lord is a mean weapon against rhulk. For week 4, maybe retrofit might be good but we have to wait and see
Mate, I was in caretaker (LFG) and there was 4 guys running thunderlord…. I thought wait, should I say something? Long story short we did 2 floors and I every one had at least 4mil damage.
Thunderlord and div really did carry us for a two phase Rhulk. We didn't want to risk a three phase and just sent it, especially considering we all still had good heavy.
Easiest two phase for sure, it cooks. Next week will be a different story without arc surge though

Personally i think the last week of pantheon should have been a 6v6 basketball game against the raid bosses from previous weeks
You don't need to 2 phase Rhulk for Platinum. Unsure if this is a bug but the clear gives you like 1.6m points for some reason, so you can finish like 5mins after the timer and still get the triumph.
Means next week won't be the case for Rhulk, but in that case might count for Riven. It's always happened for the last encounter
Platinum time is different than the high score triumph. You can get one without getting the other going both ways

You can get both triumphs as long as you finish all tormented and 3 phase
Pantheon is a nightmare on LFG. Finding competent players is near impossible let alone find ones that stick around. Feel privileged knowing you have a raid team to play with.
I haven't had an issue getting all Plat so far with LFGs, just gotta find the right people
Probably because everyone is doing it with their day 1 teams and there is no real incentive to run it more often if you already got all the things from the raid other than wanting to practice

Lfg is gonna be slightly worse this week because they're offering the exotics. That unfortunately draws in the people who never raid. Its a pretty big design flaw but kinda unavoidable. You can't not offer good loot for the peak activities.

LFG experience this week is god awful. I have no hate towards new players but I can’t help but want to rip my hair out when the same people in my group just keep dying over and over and over.
Its always the people on ad clear holding teams back. Not only do they not know the mechanics that take 5 minutes to learn, they can't shoot or stay alive if they got paid to.
bro i swear we had a warlock who refused to switch to well because it was “stasis surge”. he stayed on stasis and complained when he was dying. also complained about my dps(i was on gaze the)
New players need to understand this activity isn't for them.

A good tip to deal with rhulk is to look at his face, if he is looking at you and you see him follow your movement it will go after you

As much as I hate to admit it, Tlord is also an easy two phase on Rhulk
two things to note, the one is quite known already i think:
first: rhulk threephase also gets you platinum afaik, as long as you kill ALL tormentors, those push you above the plat threshold without the need for the bonus points from time play.
second: if you switch class, make sure you grabbed the quest on all characters, otherwise it won't count towards the completion of the quest for the exotic weapon choice.
I believe the Solar ability damage debuff from the Artifact also works on Atraks? Could definitely be wrong.
Multiple people to slice the boss makes it way less stressful. A slice and mealle resist helps survive. A navigator with free 40% DR cannot be understated
im sure someone will find a way to make the cheese work still, but im really looking forward to doing riven legit next week. excited to see what they change too!

For Rhulk, if you 3 phase and kill all tormentors, you’ll hit the “high score” required for the triumph even without hitting bonus time. Granted you won’t get the adept weapon but those don’t really matter unless you have a personal preference for them
What perk did you use on palmyra? Explosive light or frenzy? We wiped twice on final stand because we had to use the supers to get there in two phases. I think we’re using the wrong rockets.
We all used ALH Explosive Light
For explicador, i have some more recomendations like scatter signal, crux Terminator ir even hot head but i dont recomend palmyra b at all
I was easily able to kite him, in an lfg team and some how i figured you can keep frozen if you and the clone get close tot the wall and when you see him stand still. You dont move. Got it to work 4/6 times we attempted

Both radiant and revitalizing blast works on Atraks so its way better to be on hunter than a warlock for it
I used Zaouli's Bane & Conditional Finality on Explicator. Zaouli's for addclear and Conditional for easy 2 shot on Colossus to move planets.
I was the one baiting rhulk shadow I just circle him around a dunk spot till we got to damage just recommend always keep an eye on him .

Palmyra is a struggle because it's the rocket frame that does the least damage. Before its nerf people did ALH/Explosive Light, which I think Bump also gets?

windego and cloudstrike combo poops on the pantheon this week as well.
A lot of these my team didn’t get enough points doing it quickly. We had to rerun a cp of Atraks and caretaker, making sure to 3 floor and 2 phase in order to get enough points for the triumph.
Also, I have seen a team 3 phase rhulk (not getting the time bonus), but they still killed enough ads to get the platinum score. It’s a scuffed system, and I wish it was more straightforward to tell if you’d get it or not without just having to finish and restart a cp.

My team tested 5 thunderlord a div with ceno and only 1 t crash and 2 phased rhulk farely easily next week it’s rlly gonna depend on surges though finger crossed for void or solar

no debuffs works on atraks except with u use supressor nade with undermining fragment. Also, surges don't work too. i see a test video on A2TC channel.

You can’t really swap if you wanna do the raid exotic quest. If not, it doesn’t matter
Wait im confused. Hasn't 5x legend of acrius, tractor been the go to for rhulk/master rhulk? Am i missing something? You are even using it for part of the vid. I don't understand the usage of precision frame rockets here and izzy which then requires div. Like many teams are 3 phasing and i feel using a single weapon, a shotgun prevents you form getting tunnel visioned aswell. Im typically an advocate for cool dmg rotations, i pioneered the mountaintop wavesplitter edge transit, but like in this situation if legend of acrius is already the de facto choice for the duration of the dmg phase, and it allows for a bigger debuff to be used, is it just survivability cause you have to mellee the boss?
We initially tried using Acrius but found it was bad because the Shadow Rhulk kept getting in the way and pushing people around
i think hunter proximity knife works this season on atraks for debuf.

What was your roll on palmyra?
I have this burning question, for pantheon, can i swap characters for the encounter and still get the triumph for the seal? The one that requires you to have a high score for that pantheon run.
When i swapped my character to titan for week 1, it showed that my character had 0 score for the past encounters and only had a score for atraks. Was wondering if this mattered at all
It doesn’t seem to matter since each encounter counts separately
I always got it done when swapping, just don’t leave to early or it won’t count the encounter as finished for the triumph

how do you have 3 rockets avail on palmyra. What roll is that?
Honestly this week is probably where I'm gonna be tagging out. Getting week 2's plat was a chore; I was easily 2-3m above second place was for damage during wipes and the lfg rotated through a few members. ☠ I really don't think you can lfg for week's 3 and 4.
You definitely don’t need to two phase explicator for plat. I got it with a 3 phase it’s just tight
2 things I really want for Riven and Nezzerac:
Riven - to force us to do it legit
Nez - to be a highly mobile, jumping, teleporting prick where no platform, ridge, crack or otherwise potential cheese spot is safe
Dont forget how broken Crux termination IV is
Lfg has been brutal, just sucks I could get locked out of a cool title cause of my rng lfg team

The quest is character based but the triumphs are not, depends which you care about more I suppose.

ive learnt from rhulk that you dont need plat time to reach plat score, my team managed to get the score with a 3 phase, i believe that since in that situation your killing 6 tormentors that they give you enough points to reach plat,

@@Green-wq7vb it has intrinsic tracking which helps on rhulk + auto loading so you can run izzi rotation, extra reserves are great because you will shoot 2 rockets each rotation (dodge or rof reload)

You absolutely do not need to hit a two phase to get the platinum. The volume of tormentors and general enemies means that you will hit the score in a three phase.

Don’t do It, we tried acrius and because it’s 2 bosses you will just get kicked too much and die in the process. If it was only 1 then sure
no, but i kind of doubt itd be great with the fact that rhulk and his shadow are entirely mele oriented, but I could see it, if you test it please reply and say if its good, I'm curios
