I started following your channel after watching Richards's video from Nightmares, Anyone. He is a great friend of mine. Fabulous book haul. I absolutely love thrifting for books. You'll love Richard Laymon, great writing!
Never Say Never! I have long ago said No more book hauls. That's why you see me post videos titled "Book Haul Not A Book Haul". The thrift store that offered cheap Bag of Books closed and yet I still buy books from another place. Best of luck trying. And you are correct.. those are some cool books! Thank you -James

I’m sorry. I can’t help you. I do the same thing. I tell my husband every month: “That’s it! There isn’t any more! I have all the books I want.” There’s always more. I read When the Wind Blows as a teen and loved it. I don’t know what I’d think now. Season of Passage is my all time favorite book, ever. I see Christopher Pike books all of the time in a bookstore somewhat near me. I hope that you enjoy reading whatever books you chose!
I hear you, brother! My stack of unread keeps getting taller, but I can't stop going into thrift stores every week. Just started reading The Shining, my first ever Stephen King. King famously criticized the Kubrick film, but so far I'm thinking the movie was better. The Firestarter movie wasn't bad either, in my opinion.
I loved both movies but haven't read either book yet:( I'll get to Firestarter soon. I read Salem's Lot a while back. It was pretty dang good. Thanks for the cool comment.
Firestarter isn’t just a beautiful book, it’s an also a brilliant story! I actually got my vintage copy for a dollar at the library book sale! Now Richard Laymon… prepare to be distributed, yet oddly entertained. Or just disgusted, depends on the person 😂 Great haul, your Salvation Army is the bees knees, sad it’s closing down :/
@@ShadysideLibrary it is sad...I used to kill alot of time in that place. I can't wait to read Firestarter. It will be the first King book Since Salem's Lot. It was more of a denser read than id expected. So Laymon's wild huh? I'm excited to dig in because I'll be doing it blindly. I know nothing of his work. You got me thinking it can kinda be what you want it to be. If that makes sense. Good to hear from you. I hope all is well.

Great finds, the Firestarter copy is so cool. I keep telling myself I won't buy anymore books but somehow I always end up with more book hauls lol.
I tell myself the same thing but can't stop buying books. It could be worse I guess.
